Adaptation Crackdown :O

I noticed the new "Warning" at the end of everything "Write New Story" or whatever the button is called, how adaptations/copying stories with name changes is plagiarism...I should be happy about this (since posting an "adaption" doesn't belong to the person posting it), however I'm a bit torn.

Now hold on a second: I'm not saying that posting adaptions is a good thing.

I posted something about adaptations before, and I said that sometimes I like the adaptions more because the grammar and plots are usually well done (and very ty. Let's be real, I made an AFF account mostly to read the fictional scenes between Korean celebrities and/or me and/or OCs). I have a very hard time reading stories with bad English (in this case) so finding adaptions were a nice break for me.

I know there are good writers out there! It's just that they are sometimes hard to find on a site this big. Also finding stories I *want* to read is difficult since I have very specific tastes and a lot of authors haven't yet catered to these needs of mine :P

Anyway, that's my two cents. I know "adaptations" are not actual adaptations but they were nice while it lasted.

I don't actually have any thoughts on the adaptation part, because i havent really seen that feature yet, (since i havent had the time to post an update for my story, oops. sorry.) BUT, i must agree with you about the part of having a bad time reading stories with bad english, and overly exaggerated plots/unrealistic stories, (don't get me wrong, im not that great, but there's just a kind of writing that i prefer) I do try to read a fiction if it's a pairing i like, but if it's bad, i end up not finishing it. Then, i end up trying to continue the story in my head.LOL. Anyway, sorry for my long reply. ^^
