Yunjae fic readers

I saw some other fics with exo theme, super junior etc

Readers often to upvote quickly as they said the fic is awesome

 

I saw a fic with not so unique story but have 100+ upvotes already and 300+ subscribers

 

It came into my mind just now and i notice it to other yunjar fanfics too

 

Why yunjae readers can only offer subscription?

 

Actually i know the rules here in AFF that a reader cannot upvote if they wont have enough karma points actually the only way to gain karma points is to post comment more often

Thats the reason why i comment often to gain points to upvote a story to encourage the writers more.

 

I wonder why yunjae readers cant upvote and sometimes they upvote but in time remove it is it a sign that yunjae fic readers are starting to be inactive?

 

Does the readers know that is a fic had many upvotes the chance of the fic to be featured is high?....why it look like readers dont want any yunjae fic to be featured?

 

I only knew few fic that i subscribe who only have the chance to be featured....

Such as

You are the one

When i was your man

A chance to meet my umma

Mr. And mrs jung

 

Others i forgot, hey i subscribe and read 873 yunjae fics by now

I am sad that even the greatest authors like chiryu jung, ladysinner_25, changseok, kim yunjae, kim zurara and yunjae hlub had no featured fic not even once but they had awesome fics

 

Actually i can update as soon as i can but i notice when i update i would be the only one...its sad to see only few yunjae fic writers are active most are super inactive and suffer in writers block...i wonder why...

Sorry about that.. I actually didn't know the use of Upvote for a fic. I thought the subscription matters. But don't worry I will upvote the fics from now on (♡˙︶˙♡)

I honestly don't care if my stories gets featured or not. I write stories based on my own feelings and I update if I got inspired from a video or music I listened to. But to be honest comments and upvotes can boost author's ability to update and inspire the author in any way. since comments and upvotes are the only thing reader could provide for the authors since we post the stories for free. It will actually show u how appreciated the author's stories and works. I felt bad sometimes that I only got few comments but what can I do? I started the stories and u have to keep going regardless u will get comments or upvotes. Comments will serve as a line of improvement for authors. Comments is really highly appreciated even if authors seldom reply on the readers comments. Just my opinion.

agree with glances.... real life came 1st...marriage .... work...final year student (maybe).... a lot of commitment... even me.. i cant focus everyday on this blog... sometime its took me almost a month to come back.. even tough i just a reader never post any story..( sorry 4 my poor language)...

Well... It might be a natural process where yunjae fans are getting more inactive now..applies both on the writers and the readers. Even many EXO writers started to leave ficdom...real life priority you see.

Meanwhile, for the upvotes system..there is a new rule I guess...it isn't merely enough KP but we have to verify our AFF acc/email acc..to avoid fraud.

And don't assume that a huge number of votes could place a story on a featured page...Idk how AFF featuring system works tbh but an author just spoke up recently after her story was featured: when she checked on the votes notif, she only found 5 new votes a day before her story was featured. Why the additional 5 votes was considered to be most voted story was what she emphasized...do the other stories not get more votes or what? We never know.

I think readers are also aware that not all featured stories are the greatest ones..they who are picky lately will choose to find great stories from good recommendations threads that give objective review and show how good the stories are. I believe yunjae fans know what great stories yunjae ficdom has... I suggest anyone to hype them up by recommending to the rec threats or you can start yours, advertise it and hopefully the new generation of fans wanna give it a try :)

I wrote a yunjae one shot for a present once... I got many views but the subs and the feedbacks were so minimum..Just like I mentioned... it might be just a natural process when yunjae fans are getting inactive..they come to aff...to see what's good..then leave. But it doesn't mean no love for yunjae...yunjae is a legendary ship kpop has. Keep it faith hehe

As a yunjae writer and reader I understand the feeling. However, I had a yunjae fic get very popular a couple years back. I just updated with a short authors note, and it's been catapulted to over 1400 subs. But I did notice, there's only 49 votes! What! But I've got over a thousand subs!

As a writer i would say that you are right . I decided to stop writing stories and only complete what i already wrote.. because as much as i love yunjae i must admit their readers are so unsupportive and so lacking compared to other ships readers.
therefore, the lack of support or should i say the non existent support made me sad and it killed any motives i had to write...
anyway i agree with u. this ship is dying and generally Yunjae fans are the least supportive ones ever, they even unvote !
That's why us writers lost the spirit and motivation.

yeah I've noticed this long ago so I always upvote to all the yunjae fics I come across ( but only if it's good enough ) .
Most Yunjae shippers stopped shipping them . and many writers moved on and deactivated their accounts last year . So it's rare to find a good one nowdays and when I do find one I see it has so little attention from readers .
It' saddening to see such a beautiful ship die out .
