Writing contests?

N\ I don't edit my blogs usual

the thing with writing contest for me is a ton of people reads boyxboy girlxgirl drama, sad, M rated stuff! Where as I write girlxboy stupid, sweet, funny, romcom, what the heck is going on kind of stuff....not saying I would enter a contest either way but I do what to know what people who want to enter a contest do, if they write stuff like me that is!

So what do you do about that?

I'm in two contests. I don't really really mind what people write. I don't think angst and M rated things are the only good things around here. I've entered a rom-com one shot into a contest and the other is well, like what you said, sad and M rated. My point is, I just write what I feel and enter it. I just like doing it for thrills. Lol. I wasn't done of contests, but I really wanted to enter because she was a really good writer and I enjoy a lot of her fanfics. It was like an honor. The other is more lengthy, but I'm hoping that if I join it, I'll write faster.

I'm in 2 writing contests. One of them you write whatever comes to mind as the author posts 3 words and you can use all the words or some of them. They are one-shots. And then the other one is mainly just about BTS. You have to write about 1000 words and you have to choose a prompt and that's it. I can't write boyxboy, girlxgirl stories. I don't mind reading them, I just couldn't write them to save my life. I don't write boyxgirl all that much too. Not too big on writing romance stories. I don't mind reading them, though.
