PERSONALITY — A sort of walking oxymoron, those who see one side of Mimi can rarely put it together with the other side. On the one hand, she's hardworking and helpful, going out of her way to help the other wolves of her pack and even the townsfolk when she's at the blacksmithing shop, no matter their race. Mimi is someone who is kind and gentle with children, almost instantly gaining the trust of even the most skeptical toddler through the softness of her eyes and voice when around them, a fact that proves especially helpful in the city when dealing with children who've become separated from their parents. She's always the first to volunteer help to those children, sometimes working for hours to help find their families and not resting until they're reunited and she can see the joy in the child's eyes. Ever unwavering, her confidence in her own ability to find their parents or complete her tasks is always a comfort to lost children and those working with her who know that they can rely on her from seeing the steeliness of her gaze when she says not to worry about it. This is especially true for her close friends who know that if they are ever in need, this unyielding force of woman will be there for them through whatever they need.
On the other hand, however, is the wild, untameable wolf inside of her that yearns for blood and death. Terrifying mood swings that can range from intense rage to profound and crushing sadness push away almost anyone that gets to close to her, making her think that she can't trust anyone to be there for her and actually making her even more hostile to those newcomers that try to become close to her. Impulsive at the very base of her nature, there have been many times that she has lashed out at anyone who was near to her during one of her mood swings, not thinking about whether or not they deserved her anger and sometimes her physical strength, going so far as even injuring those who got too close during one of her fits of rage.
TRIVIA — She loves to hunt. Like, above all else. The adrenaline that comes with the chase, the thrill of the pounce, the satisfaction of watching the life fade away from the eyes of her prey.
— She takes the utmost pride in being a werewolf and believes that wolves are far superior as warriors, rulers, and all around. Because of this she is one of the many who frowns upon mixing the races and, in her eyes, diluting strong wolf genes and making weak pups that will never be able to take care of themselves.

Humans due to their blandness, she feels there's nothing special about them as a race and that the things they do provide are minimal in comparison to other races. — When she was a child, she had a really rough time transforming into a wolf, unlike most children who can transform like it's nothing. She didn't master turning until she was almost 13 years old.

FAMILY — Abandoned as a baby, Mimi was found by a werewolf blacksmith named Han Geng and his wife Qian, who took her in and raised her as their own. She adored both of her adoptive parents and her adoptive brother Luhan, and was especially close with Han Geng, always following him into the city when he went in to work at the smithing shop, picking up the trade through her childhood and adolescence. When her adoptive father passed away, her brother Luhan was supposed to take over his work at the blacksmith shop, however, Luhan was never interested in smithing and instead joined the army and left all of the smithing work to Mimi.
Her parents made sure to teach Mimi a lot about werewolf history, wanting her to grow up proud of her wolf heritage, even telling her stories of the brave wolves who had fought to gain the crown of Ephemerus and how honored they would be for one of their children to bring glory to their race in such a way. When she told her mother of her plans to join the battle for the crown, Qian was more than supportive, letting her know just how proud she was and how proud Han Geng would be of her as well.
FRIENDS — Meng Jia (21): Mimi's closest friend since childhood, Jia is one of the only people Mimi truly trusts. An unusually passive werwolf, Jia is kind, compassionate and understanding, though incredibly snarky and sarcastic to her friends. Despite her many good points, Jia is extremely lazy, often lazing around in her wolf form around the blacksmith shop or in the woods or napping when she's supposed to be helping Mimi with something. When the need arises, however, she pushes through and will stop at nothing to do what she needs to.
Luhan (27): Mimi's adopted brother Luhan is a bit cold and detached to outsiders, a clear predator even in his human form. He's always been protective of his family though, helping Mimi during family hunts and even sometimes at the smithing shop to make sure she doesn't get hurt in any way. This protectiveness also extends to Jia, someone Luhan also sees as a little sister since she's been around since Mimi was a kid. Luhan's downfall is that he's got a bit of a rebellious streak, going against his parents' wishes to take over the smit shop and often getting into trouble with his superiors in the guard because of it.
ENEMIES — Sin Jineul: Mimi is extremely proud of her werewolf heritage and believes that werewolves are the superior race compared to the other inhabitants of Emphemerus. So to see a human (what she thinks is a human at least.) taking a strong, good werewolf male from their race and taking away the potential for another strong werewolf in his child. (basically, she doesn't want Jineul stinking up a good wolf pup with her human genes and it pisses her off.)

SUMMARY — Cool and collected on the outside, Yifan's wolf is a terrifying creature that longs for bloodshed almost as much as Mimi's. He was raised by his older sister after their parents died in one of the battles for the crown and he grew up wanting to avenge his parents by joining the battle and taking the crown home as they had wanted. He joined the guard as soon as he was old enough, so he could train and get stronger.

Yifan had just joined the army and happened to be in the area receiving his weapons when Mimi arrived to deliver the new ones. Embarrassed by the thought she high tailed it away from the area the moment she was finished with her delivery and tried to put it out of her mind.
The next time they met was shortly after her father died and Luhan joined the army. At that point Yifan had solidifed his place in the army and was starting to move up even, helping the new recruits out and dealing with things like armor and weapon inventory a lot. This meant that almost every smithing related trip she made to the garrison was an encounter with Yifan. Mimi was starting to grow into a beautiful woman and Yifan couldn't help but take notice, taking these opportunities to try to get to know her more and always delaying her departure as much as possible when he could. At first Mimi would always just shrug him off or be really hostile with him until she could leave, but after almost a year of these encounters, she was starting to get used to him and would even joke around with him sometimes.
