Appearance : Aurelia has one of those faces that looks a different nationality depending what angle you look at her. She has dark loose curly hair she got from her mother. . She tends to keep it piled on her head in a messy bun. She has two beauty spots on her face: one to the bottom right of mouth and one near the corner of her left eye. She has round lips and grey eyes. She's a bit shorter than her friends but she makes up for it with curves.

Personality : 
Aurelia has been likened to a magnet the way people are drawn to her. Maybe it's the way she strings her sentences together or the way she looks at you when you're talking, but the girl oozes charisma. She is incredibly enthusiastic which leads her to be succeed in her major and any activities she decides to set her mind to. Her desire to achieve greatness makes her the ideal groupmate as she'll stay up all night to make sure its up to standard. While she is rather intelligent (her choice of vernacular points this out), she is very humble and prefers to keep her brains on the downlow, letting her grades do the talking. It helps that she has a warm personality and people feel able to get comfortable around her without being judged. The personable way she conducts herself makes it easy for people to get along with and spend time with her.

Aurelia is so laid-back, she's almost horizontal. For someone doing a double major, not much phases her as she has a great concept of time-management and a work-life balance. She is ambitious, choosing to study hard subjects, but doesn't let her ambition cloud her judgement and ruin her friendships. She is earthy, meaning she spends a lot of her time outside if she can at all hours of the day and puts a lot of attention into the plants she has dotted around her room. Aurelia is resolute in her style of thinking. Aurelia lives a "mangetout" lifestyle, meaning she eats all and everything with the exception of shellfish. She is willing to try everything at least once and loves to cook for herself anf others. 

Aurelia does have her down side. When she is in the zone, she can be dismissive and down right rude to people trying to talk to her. While she is easy to talk to, she is not the person to go to if you want nice advice. Aurelia will tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want and won't fall short of calling you an idiot if needs be. She can be very critical of others, even if she is well-meaning (she just wants people to be better). While she understands that the words people say and the things they do define who they are, it doesn't stop her from demanding better from them. Aurelia is slightly guarded meaning her behaviour can come across the wrong way. Hurt can be misconstrued as jealousy or anger. She can be quite jealous when it comes to objects of her affection. Aurelia would deny til she died that she wasn't interested in a boy (she has a like life and therefore doesn't need a love life) but can practially sniff out when someone is making moon eyes at her future boo. She is also rather hot-tempered, though it takes a lot to make the temper come out. Usual warning signs include over active eyebrows and the vein in her forehead pulsating like some weird undersea creature. If she was an animal, she'd be a cat. Nice and fluffy, generally relaxed but with a savage side once provoked.

 
Background :
Aurelia was born in Versailles, France in 1995. Her parents, Elodie and Junho, met when her father was travelling across Europe with his university friends. They fell in love before engaging in a long distance relationship and eventually getting married and settling down in France. When Aurelia turned two, they moved to Seoul to be closer to her father's family and her younger brother was born.

As one of the only girls amongst her cousins, Aurelia felt she was under a lot of pressure from her family about how to behave and look. A large portion of her childhood was spent receiving well-meaning backhanded comments from her family about how pretty she would be when she slimmed down and acted more womanly. It didn't help that her baby brother had taken to  Trying to fulfill the expectations that she couldn't meet, Aurelia felt that she didn't know herself until she turned sixteen.

It was the summers that she spent abroad in France that helped Aurelia find herself. Spending time with her "glam"mother, she learnt about fashion, poetry and love, but best of all, discovered her love for programing. On a week long trip to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in the south east of France (it was a goal of hers to visit a difference province every summer), she wandered onto a tour of Ubisoft and fell in love. She spent the day asking questions, trying out the prototypes and pestering the programmers with different questions. She almost had to be escorted out of the building at the end of the day.

When she returned to Korea, she was a different person. Having found the thing she wanted to do, she no longer felt as self-concious and started to work on herself. She lost the baby weight and held her family to the same standards, demanding them to better themselves as she had. Needless to say, the comments on her unladylike behaviour and chubby teen body soon dissapated.

Over the next few summers before she started university, Aurelia filled her head with science and information. She no longer what people to question her and enthused about anything she could learn about. As she learnt and taught herself more, she becamse more confident in herself. She even started to date, but only in the summers when she knew her relationships had expiry dates. 

When it was time for Aurelia to pick a university she had her heart set on going to Caltech. Her parents were less than thrilled as Aurelia still wanted to go to France every summer meaning they would see very little of her. They gave her an ultimatum of choosing between going to Caltech or France but Aurelia couldn't bear giving up her visits with her grandmother. She settled on Pledis University after finding it had an equally good software course at a lower price.

Trivia : Aura has a pierced but refuses to tell anyone how she got it. She absolutely loves plants so she has a range of succulents dotted around her bedroom, each with their own name. Family : Brother - Victor Kwon Ji-Hoon / High school student / 16 /  Playful, clever, annoying /  While Aurelia is glad her baby brother has mostly grown out of his childish ways, she's glad to get away from the teenage know-it-all. Like his sister, Victor is clever and charismatic but has yet to grown out of stroppy teen behavior and playing pranks. When they're getting along well, they're good, but when they're bad, he's just one prank away from getting a punch in the stomach.

Grandmother - Sabine Cotillard / 68 / Retired playwright / Glamarous, exuberant, sinful / Aside from seeing each other every summer, Aurelia frequently calls her grandmother to chat and ask for advice.They even send each other letters because 'it's far more romantic and paints a picture' according to Sabine. Sabine always encourages Aurelia to follow her heart and jump first feet in, getting her into trouble a few times (A performance of Moulin Rouge and 3 bottles of red wine could tell a story), but always has her best interests at heart.

Friends : Lee Seokmin "DK" / Fellow Student / 20 / Friendly, hyper  / DK and Aura first met in the Gaming Club and became fast friends due to their similar taste in games. While they may not have much in common, they have a great time together, mostly coupled with laughter and loads of screaming.

Description of residence/dorm room : The dorm that Aurelia shares with another OC has a communal living room and kitchen, but has two seperate bedrooms with en-suite shower units. In Aurelia's room, her bed is placed under her window so she can listen to all the drama happening outside while she's comfy underneath the covers. On the windowsill next to her bed are all her succulents and flowers. Her desk along the same wall as the end of her bed with her gaming chair. Her toilet and closet are opposite, separated by a sliding bookshelf/bathroom door. Her family is slightly well-off enough to allow her the luxury of a tiny walk-in closet, but she doesn't get her own flat. The kitchen and livingroom are open plan but basic. Any deco was done by Aurelia and her flat mate.

  

         

Do you have a roommate or do you live alone? If you have a roommate, who is it and how do you feel about them? : You can also choose to have another oc as your roommate. I live in shared flat with another oc.

Would you describe yourself as studious? How often do you study and where do you like to do so? : I'm pretty studious but I can only really get any work done in my room when I'm in my own space.  

How often are you in your room? : Because I can only really get work done in my room, I try not to be in my dorm whenever I'm not working. Any chance I get to be outside, I'll be outside. I'm only really in there to sleep and work.

Where do you spend most of your time? : I spend most of my time away from my dorm, either hanging out on the promenade or in one of the sporting areas. Since one of my favourite pastimes is eating, I also spend a lot of time in the cafes. I have a schedule for which cafe to eat in on which day.

What time do you normally arrive back at your room during the week and weekends? : I'm mostly in my room by 9pm on weekdays but on weekends I do try and push it by just getting in before 1am :/

How do you feel about Pledis University so far? : I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would. The courses are really challenging, just how I like it, and I'm just stoked about joining the basketball team.

Name : Choi Seungcheol

Personality : Seungcheol is considered to be the most manly amongst his friends. As the eldest, he feels that he needs to be an example to his friends of how a man should act. He is mature in such a way that when he is in difficult situations he doesn't let it show and lash out. He takes himself away, usually to his prefered space on the dorm rooftop and thinks about it before coming back with a solution. He is affectionate and when he likes a girl he will do things to make her smile (like fill the rooftop with her favourite plants so she'll spend time with him up there). Whoever has his heart must be gentle with it as he is sensitive towards the words of his friends and those he cares about. He's also mischievous and when he smiles his signature smile you know he's about to ruin your life in the most wonderful way. When he gets involved in games,he's across between passionate and aggressive as he loves to be immersed in fun but also loves to win.

First Meeting : Aurelia first saw Seungcheol in Music Club sitting across from her. Although she had been at Pledis uni for two years already, she hadn't seen him before (probably due to her not wanting to get involved with anyone). He caught her looking at him and looked away. After admitting her initial attraction to him, she considered approaching him but saw him in conversation with a girl and thought better of it. She made the decision that he wouldn't be able to keep up with her, let alone give her a reason to slow down.
Their first one to one meeting started when a football flew through her open window, knocking her coffee out of her hand and all over her computer. When he goes to her door room to collect the ball, she shouts at him and shuts the door in his face.                                         Relationship & Interactions : After their initial first meeting, it gets better. Seungcheol feels bad about her computer and turns up at Aurelia's dorm room a few days later with a croissant and her favourite coffee as an apology. She plays the damage down as she was able to salvage nearly everything and had been scolding herself for shouting at the him in the first place. They exit the dorms together and go their seperate ways but she finds herself thinking about him during her lectures. 

Aurelia sees Seungcheol again when she goes for basketball practice. He's busy playing soccer and she watches him as she stretches (attempting to show off her curves and distract him). While she's playing, he watches her intermittently and during half-time stands by the fence to watch. When scoring a two-pointer shot, Aurelia is knocked into by another girl and lands badly on her ankle. Seungcheol rushes over and takes her to the nurses office before helping her back to her dorm. She lets him hang in her room for a while and she shows him her book/vinyl collection. This is where the flirtation begins.

They start spending time with each other under the guise of studying and exercising i.e. 'I'm gonna go study with Seungcheol' 'But you hate studying with other people' 'When have I ever said that?' 'Every day of your life'. Their skinship translates from 'helping each other stretch' to brushing the hair out of his eyes or touching her back when he opens the door for her. They even play basketball together which Aurelia says is to improve her skill, but it's really just an excuse for them to touvh each other. Aurelia denies that she likes him, ranting and raving to her flatmate about how he's a 'long-legged idiot' but becomes a complete and utter melt when he's around.

Seungcheol makes the effort of walking her to class everyday, even when he doesn't have any class, and frequently visits her to 'borrow books' and check that her ankle is ok. So often that she starts keeping his favourite snacks stocked in her room. One evening, Seungcheol invites Aurelia to hang out in his favourite spot on the roof where he goes to think. When they arrive, she finds it covered in different types of plants and Seungcheol tells her that its to make her want to spend time up there (with him). Its his first attempt at stating he likes her. They spend too long on the roof, to the point that curfew passes and they have to sneak back to their rooms. They almost get caught as they try to head towards Seungcheol's room so they retreat to her room. In order to "not get academic suspension", Aurelia offers him to stay in her dorm for the night, where he chooses to sleep on the floor rather than in her bed out of respect. He does however have his long arm on her bed and she falls asleep with him her hair. When she wakes up first, she watches his sleeping face and kisses the fingers on his hand before he wakes.

Their relationship turns sour briefly when Aurelia's jealousy rears its ugly head. When Seungcheol invites her to a party she (almost loses her cool) agrees to go with him, peddling it in her mind that it's a date. However when Aurelia sees Seungcheol chatting with girls that obviously like him at a party she loses her cool and leaves the party, stealing a bottle of tequila in the process. Storming back to her room, she tells herself that humans are flawed and Seungcheol is just one giant long-legged flaw. She ignores his messages and tells her flatmate to lie when he comes looking for her the next day. After successfully avoiding him for a few days, she agrees to hang out with DK and play video games like they used to before Seungcheol monopolised all her time and blows off the date they had planned. Seungcheol gets jealous when he finds out Aurelia blew off having dinner with him to play video games with DK.  Their feelings come to a head when they both go for a run together, albeit accidently. Aurelia heads out to go for a run and only a few minutes in, she bumps into Seungcheol who had the same time. She glares at the back of him and proceeds to run past him, promping a not-so-great chase. Finally he grabs her arm and makes her stop and they end up arguing about each others behaviour and Aurelia shouting at him that she likes him, even if he is an idiot, he's an idiot who belongs to her.
