Appearance : Seohyun has long medium length dark brunette hair that reaches to the top of her chest. Her eyes are a dark chocolate brown that shine a little when the light catches them. Her skin is pale but still a nice tanned color that compliments her hair color very well. She has no scars or birthmarks, but does have multiple moles spread throughout her body. The most notable mole is on the ridge of her nose right next to her left eye. The only other note worthy detail of her appearance is that both of her ears are pierced twice on each ear lobe.

Seohyun is a very intelligent person who takes education very seriously. She is constantly thinking about school and assignments she has to do, wondering and deciding on what she wants to do for each and every one. Background :
Lee Seohyun was born in Seoul, South Korea on August 23rd, 1997 to Lee Sanghyuk and Lee Yoonhee. She is their only daughter who came right after their first child, her older brother, Seojun. Growing up, both of the Lee children were to have some extracurricular activity of some sort, with Seojun doing soccer and Seohyun doing ballet. Though ballet was Seohyun something loved the most in her life, she also put a lot of effort into her studies, working her hardest to be very talented. A lot of Seohyun's friends were in ballet, with her being a bit of social butterfly in her earlier teen years. Seohyun was only fifteen when she met seventeen year old, Hwang Minhyun. The two hit it off almost instantly and began dating, showering each other in love every chance they got with each other. Minhyun was Seohyun's first love and her first heartbreak. Minhyun clearly didn't love Seohyun as much as she did, because he had been cheating on her with one of her ballet seniors ever since their first year of being together.

Seohyun was devastated and felt betrayed by the person she had grown to love the most. The recovery process was hard and changed Seohyun to who she is today; she lost friends and became a completely different person in the process. Seohyun wanted to get away from everything in South Korea and applied for Juilliard, one of the top dance schools in the world. Unfortunately for Seohyun, she didn't make the cut for the school and was accepted into her second choice, Pledis University. It was the same school her ex-boyfriend has been attending, going on his fifth year after changing his major from Neuroscience to Pre-Law. The only plus side to Seohyun attending the school is that her best friend had also made it in as a Contemporary Dance major. Seohyun has been avoiding Minhyun ever since entering the school three years ago, going so far as to try and physically hide herself from him for her own sake.

Best Friend — Nam Boyoung / Contemporary Dance Major / 20 / Optimistic, Protective, Friendly, Dependant, Quirky / Boyoung is the only person who remained friends with Seohyun after her big breakup. She was with Seohyun all through the recovery process and witnessed her best friend change right before her own eyes. She absolutely dispises Hwang Minhyun and has told him before to back off and leave Seohyun alone after he saw the two on campus. Boyoung is also Seohyun's roommate and the two care a lot for each other. The two are constantly talking with one another, even if it's mostly Boyoung talking and Seohyun listening. Description of residence/dorm room : The dorm residence that both Seohyun and Boyoung share is large apartment with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a kitchen/living room area. Both of the bedrooms are the exact same size, they just look completely different from each other as Seohyun and Boyoung are two completely different people. The kitchen and living room area is the largest part of the house holding a grey couch, a white coffee table, a medium sized black television, a small brown dining table with white chairs, and small side kitchen behind that. The bathroom is the smallest room in the house, holding only a shower, toliet, and sink. In the closets of the living room and kitchen area is a washing machine and dryer, used for both girls laundry.

Seohyun has been best friends with Boyoung since high school and thinks very highly of her.

Personality : Sooyoung would be best described as being a friendly individual. He's very kind and overall a warm-hearted person. He treats everyone he meets like a friend and cares a lot for those who are his friends. Soonyoung is also very humorous, being quite the jokester. He is constantly making jokes just to incite laughter out of those around him. He enjoys making others smile and laugh, even if it's for just a short while. Soonyoung is a very optimistic guy, always looking toward the brighter side of things. He is the shining light in a bleak situation, always choosing positive over negative. It's a surprise his nickname isn't "Hope" instead of "Hoshi", though Hoshi still suits him regardless.

Soonyoung, though he is a great guy, is quite airy in a sense. He doesn't take things as seriously as he should, often coming across as a ditz. He isn't stupid however, just has a hard time being serious when the situation calls for it. Soonyoung is very talkative and is quite the chatterbox. He loves conversation and enjoys chatting with others, though he doesn't have the filter to stop himself. He often will talk and talk and talk until someone finally tells the poor boy to shut up. Finally, Soonyoung is a very loud person. He doesn't quite understand what an indoor voice is, almost always using an outdoor voice instead. He can be quite hard on the ears and is constantly being told to quiet down by others.
First Meeting : Soonyoung's and Seohyun's first meeting wasn't the best but wasn't necessarily terrible either. Seohyun had just recieved a follow-up dance evaluation from her ballet teacher, who was displeased with Seohyun's overall performance. She had the technique down but with no emotion when the performance called for emotions of love and warmth, an emotion Seohyun rarely emits on any regular basis. Stressed with her situation, Seohyun went to Boyoung for support who in turn told her about a student in her comtemporary dance classes. His name was Kwon Soonyoung and he was the best dancer in terms of emotion and feeling, everything Seohyun wasn't. Desperate and low on time, Seohyun confronted Soonyoung with Boyoung and asked if he would help her. Soonyoung initially was suprised that a ballet student would ask him for help but he agreed on one condition; Seohyun had to help Soonyoung by tutoring him in mathematics, his worst subject.
Relationship & Interactions : Soonyoung's and Seohyun's relationship is a bit complicated. Seohyun doesn't particularly enjoy Soonyoung's presence as he is a bit overbearing at times, but she doesn't necessarily hate it either. She does enjoy his positivity and warmth, everything that she isn't. In the beginning, things are awkward between the two since they barely know each other. Soonyoung begins taking Seohyun on mock "dates" to show her what love and warmth is like. He tries his best to show her that feeling emotions like love and warmth aren't bad and should be embraced, not pushed away. As time goes on, Seohyun begins to fall in love with Soonyoung but is afraid to be hurt again once Minhyun resurfaces in her life again, this time trying to win her back. Soonyoung himself has fallen for Seohyun and struggles with the thought of Seohyun possibly going back with Minhyun. He vows to himself and to Minhyun that he'll win Seohyun's heart in the end. The two often talk to one another, but mostly in text at the beginning of their relationship though it will turn to phonecalls as time progresses on. To show his love for Seohyun, Sooyoung constantly compliments her and shows her his affection through their "mock dates" which he now considers to be real ones.
Ending : At the end, Seohyun finally is able to impress her teacher at the next evaluation and is chosen to be the "prima ballerina" for the upcoming Pledis University ballet performance. Just as things begin to progress with Seohyun and Soonyoung, Minhyun interferes again by telling Seohyun that he's sorry and that's he's always loved her and only her. Seohyun feels conflicted by this and begins to push boys away due to the overwhelming stress of her love life and the upcoming performance, the biggest one in her entire life. Just hours before the performance, Minhyun visits Seohyun before Soonyoung does and asks Seohyun to finally just pick him. Seohyun thinks to herself for a minute before confessing how she has felt for the past five years because of him. At the end of her "confession" of sorts, she tells Minhyun she doesn't hate him but doesn't want to be with him either. Minhyun leaves and Soonyoung enters, having heard the entire exchange. Without even a word, Soonyoung embraces Seohyun, kissing her just like he's wanted all along. The two break apart after being interrupted by the stage director, who just wants Seohyun to get on stage for the opening performance. Soonyoung tells Seohyun to "break a leg, but not literally" before they both go their separate ways, Seohyun to the stage and Soonyoung to his seat in the audience. After the performance, which was a major success, the two continue to be together. Showing off their love in front of Boyoung and Seojun, who are happy that Seohyun has finally found happiness for herself after so long.
