a question about fanfics

I've been writing fics for a while now.  Sometimes, I stopped and even once deleted my account because I questioned myself about whether writing fanfics are morally okay or not. I know some people says it's okay while others completely disagree. I wanted to know your opinions.

I am sorry for ranting here . hehe , just needed to let it out . many fans dont understand why I ask them to hold their imagination in certain level . they just accuse me being anti homo . there is a person who could get hurt from our fun and mind . I wish some fans start loving their idols like a friend and remember they got feelings too, not some toy they could play whatever they want . just please

it is just simply bullying in public and invading his rights , damaging his image . uh , I hate it when fans act all that greedy and rude . just thinking about their fun , not thinking about that person who they are toying with .
Writing fiction is good and fun , but there should be a line in your delusion .

I am being vip for like ten years already , but never ever got into gtop or gri ships . I just didn't interested guy guy thing . and somehow find it odd and stupid when fans obsess with them . but now after I got into winner , I started to read ff about them . specially about jinwoo . since winner is new group and hadn't gotten many cbacks the fans who write about them are too little compared to others . no comment for jinwoo centered ff . but there is almost 90 of 100 ff was about guy guy ships , I dont have a choice (lol) but to read it . was the writer was good , it wasn't that bad . and soon i found my favorite ff about jinwoo and read them like a table book . not long ago I , myself started to write ff too . I dont think gay ships are bad and hideous thing .
But there is a line to not cross . just about yesterday in my Instagram feed I saw a fan who wore a t shirt 'xxx s xxx in the ' in public , maybe it was concert area . I was so mortified . I dont remember the idols name but I guess it was bts fan ? And there was that one accident in fall . some insta fan accounts spread fake news with allkpop logo titled "Kim jinwoo dating xxx guy " . I was so angry . i asked them to delete those but they were like it is just a joke and you are being racist for not accepting that , are you anti homoual ?! I lost my all words . the reason I hated that was people who saw meme commented - I expected something from him , I knew it , congratulations ....? Although some of them Knew it was a joke , many of them believed and saw him as a gay . although I ship him with guys it doesn't mean he is gay and going to like it when people force him into that image. Even if he is gay , it is not anyone's business to address it .

well, like gotka said below fanfics are cool.
it helps us to write what we have in mind
like pouring the imaginations we've had since kid you know?
for example, i always imagined myself meeting my idol when i was a kid,
i didn't know fanfictions back then (heck, i believe fanfics sites don't even exist yet maybe?)
but now i got to pour all the ideas down to a site where i can share it with people
that makes me happy and i don't regret reading & writing fanfics.
but as for s,
i feel like a little uncomfortable and sometimes a little too guilty aha.

Well, I love reading & books. So fanfics are really cool, in my opinion. Even if it is made up, there are a lot of fandom jokes in some of them and it makes the situation, which is depending on the fanfic, funny. As for , idc about that, I love mature stories, but those "Daddy/Oppa chocke me" etc are not my thing lol. I personally dislike girlxgirl or boyxboy fanfics, because I always feel so weird reading them like: "Do the idols know that people make s about them and their group member?" and I've read some where weird is happening.

I like being able to read about my favorite people( even though technically everything is made up), but there are some really dirty things that people write about them. I'm not sure they would like seeing or reading those.

They're just fictional characters that borrow a name and an appearance from an idol. I see no problem with it.

i've honestly questioned this myself a lot. is it weird to write about ppl and not have them know about? to create images that don't reflect the real them (sometimes ones that are offensive)?? to put them in scenarios that could be...inappropriate and to picture them doing these things without them knowing?
When i put it like that it sounds really negative (lol) but i've questioned it like that a lot. Tho personally, I like writing fanfic because it just makes characterization easy. i do it because i have a plot in my head and i need people to base characters off of. when i write, characters aren't just made up; they are inspired by real people and have faces. fanfic for me just makes it easier and in this case, i try to separate the "fanfic" with "reality".
honestly, as long as you aren't directly shoving it into their faces or creating scenarios that are too inappropriate, then i think they are okay, maybe flattering even. I know i would be flattered if i inspired someone enough to write a story about me lol.
point is, with fanfic there's always a line that must be drawn; the line that divides fiction and reality. as long as you are aware that what you write can affect them (thus are careful) and make it clear that it is purely fiction then i think it's okay. :-)

hi, i'm joo/felicia and i've been writing fics since 2012 although i also delete most of my accounts haha.
i personally think it's okay
do what you love
as for me, stories has been a part of my life
i can't seem to spend a day without reading or writing
plus points if the story you write has something to learn from,
so not only the readers, but you can learn too

so, don't stop writing!
do what you like. : )

I don't know what's to disagree on writing fanfics tbh o.o it is pure fiction and we often say it in our forewords, also do we do any harm to idols by writing fanfics? I don't think so as they are just words and everyone knows they are just what jumps out of our imagination, so I don't think anything is wrong with it^^
