My Kpop Collection | Pictures + a lot of Jimin

I'm actually a bit embarrassed to be doing this, but I did ask a few blog posts back when I talked about my kpop collection, if anyone would like to see pictures and a couple of you did say yes. And, my friends on my group chat always seem to get a kick out of it when I send pictures every time I go through a reorganizing spree.

This blog post will be incredibly long (or at least appear so) because I have quite a few pictures and stuff to say about those pictures. But I hope it interests you anyway.

What started out, in November of 2015 (when Hyyh pt. 2 was released, and I purchased it as my very first kpop album ever), as a single small 12x12in shelf on a two tier cubby shelf, turn into the pictures you are about to see below. It has grown into two large five shelf book shelves, a medium three shelf book shelf, and two small three shelf (not really book shelves, but more like dvd/cd shelves in my opinion) things stacked together. As you will see, the medium shelf is something I've recently put together (within the last week) that now holds my BTS display stuff, since that was starting to become cluttered all on one shelf. Then I have my general kpop shelf, then I have the two small black shelves that hold my BTS Japanese merchandise and finally, and most amazingly so, I have the Bangtan shelf, which does get a shelf of it's very own. I have not enough way too much BTS merchandise. It's quite lovely sad.

I do have some bare shelves since I've just recently added a few of them, but those will build over time, just like the first two did...

Also, don't laugh at my book stops (which aren't really book stops). I have to hold those heavy albums up somehow and I'm obsessed with candles so some are my candles and some are actually bottles that my friend got me (that were filled with my favorite candies) for christmas one year that I filled with some vase filler.

I actually have a couple of more things coming soon. The new onstage dvd both the Japanese (also got the first one, since I decided to buy the new one) and Korean versions, and the new light stick (which I barely managed to get my hands on, goddamn). As well as my two regular editions of Best of BTS, which got stuck in customs so it's taken an extra two weeks to get here. So, if you want, I will gladly show pictures or maybe do an "unboxing" video of sorts of those when they get here.

I'll stop rambling now and post the pictures. Right click and open in a new tab to see the full sizes. Enjoy ^^

Here is a big picture of all of the shelves from a distance.Ignore the posters, especially the Jimin posters on the left. They're incredibly crooked due to shaky hands and my OCD despises me for it, but I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet, since I just hung them a few days ago.

Let's start with what I call my 'Regular Kpop Shelf'.

This carries all of the artists that aren't BTS, as well as my 'supplies' at the bottom for my photocards collection, etc.

I did not show the full top shelf because I have nothing other than my Seventeen albums. I'm still planning on buy a couple more soon, Love and Letter and the special edition of the first album.
Albums as follows: 17 Carat, Boysbe (hide ver), Boysbe (seek ver), Seventeen First Album Repackage (Love&Letter) Regular Edition, Going Seventeen (Make A Wish, Make It Happen, and Make The Seventeen).

This shelf is where all of my other 'non-bias' groups go, though I still very much bias all of these people, otherwise, I would not have the albums. Although, two of them I did get because there was one song on them, and that's Bigbang Made E and Im Da One, by Jokwon (for Animal, cause of hobi).

Albums: TaeTiSeo: Twinkle, Holler, Dear Santa (green ver), Taeyeon: I, Why, Block B: Blockbuster, Her, Bastarz: Conduct Zero, Bigbang: Made E, Jokwon: Im Da One/Animal, AOA: Short Hair, Like A Cat, Heart Attack, Good Luck

All of my exo albums, in order of size, as follows: CBX - Hey Mama!, Mama, Overdose, Love Me Right, Monster, Lucky One, Lotto, XOXO Repackage, Winter Special.

I am planning on getting Exodus and XOXO Kiss, as well as the other christmas albums, but those are not priority atm, cause it's Bangtan season, and they release so much this time of year.

The Bap Shelf, which used to be up top, but Seventeen are rude af. I still need to get the regular edition of Noir, but I've almost given up on getting their older albums since they're so hard to find without being used. This is also in order of height, for visual pleasure.

Albums: Badman, Unplugged 2014, Matrix Regular Edition, Carnival Regular Edition, Put 'Em Up, First Sensibility, Noir Special Version (Daehyun and Yongguk versions), Matrix Special Versions (Daehyun and Zelo versions), Carnival Special Version.

This shelf is where I keep my non-bts photocard collection. The green binder has the seventeen photocards, the first white binder has my Bap photocards, the second white binder has Exo, the red has misc female artist, and the blue has misc. male artists.

The only OST I own. Scarlet Heart Ryeo. I fell in love with the OST before the drama (still haven't finished it so no spoilers).

The bottom shelf where I keep my 'supplies'. In the organizer, I have my top sliders, my laminate paper, my card protectors and my poster strips to hang my posters with. The big red binder has all of my sheet protects with various pocket sizes and positions, and the black bin has my folded posters that I do not have wall space for currently.

On to the Bangtan merch, which is... wahh. I'll start with the display shelf I recently put up, which looks kind of bare right now. But, with how much BTS loves for use to blow our money, it shall grow soon. Rather than show all of the shelves singularly, I will just have the photos together, since they're pretty self-explanatory.

I do have Yoongi and Jimin of the plushes cause #yoonmin #otp #goalsaf. Also, I'm really excited to display the two Army bombs side by side.

Next is my Bts Japanese collection.

Yes there is a Namjoon SLA crochet bear on the side. My friend made it for me for Christmas a few years back.
I do not collect all of the japanese albums, tbh. I only get the regular editions, or the Limited editions if they come with goods (or are in special packaging). I am still waiting on my Best Of BTS regular editions, both Korean and Japanese versions, which will hopefully come by the end of this upcoming week (and again, if you wanna see them when I get them, I can do that >.<)
That RM USB actually came as a pre-order gift from Ktown4U when I pre-ordered the Seasons Greetings.
Albums as follows: Compilation album, 2 Cool 4 Skool+O!RUL8,2?, No More Dream Regular Edition, Boy In Luv Regular Edition, Danger Regular Edition, Danger Limited Edition Type B, Wake Up, Skool Luv Affair, Dark&Wild, For You Regular Edition, HYYH Pt. 1, I Need U Regular Edition, Run Regular Edition, Run HMV Limited Edition, HYYH Pt. 2, Youth.

And last, but most certainly not least, and by far my most prized shelf, The Bangtan Shelf.

It used to look so much fuller, like two weeks ago, but it's in the process of moving around. Soon, my friends, soon.

This shelf here is where everything except the lego set and Jimin fan from the new Display shelf used to be. Yep. Very cluttered. For now, I have my two favorite albums on the top, SLA and Dark&Wild. SLA is my favorite album trackwise (but I love the packaging too, and D&W's packaging is just so amazing. And in the middle you see the rude af Jimin, from the Desk calendar I got the from 2017 Seasons Greetings (I screamed when I found out Jimin was January, my birth month. *whispers* It's fate, bruh).

Where I keep my BTS Korean CDs.

My OCD truly hates the fact that the spinal images go in the wrong direction. WHY??? Ugh. And because of that, Wing is spelled backwards. Namjoon needs to chill with the reflection crap.
Albums as follows: Wings (G, N, I, W), HYYH Young Forever (Night then Day), HYYH Pt. 2 (Peach then Blue), HYYH pt. 1 (Pink then White), Dark&Wild, Skool Luv Affair (Special Addition is in the corner of the shelf), O!RUL8,2?, and 2 Cool 4 Skool.

This is all of my DVD/Package content.

The 2016 Summer Package in Dubai. It came with the two mini posters for the Sunset and Blue Sky version, and I love the Blue Sky version.

2017 Seasons Greetings, Memories of 2014, Memories of 2015, HYYH Onstage 2015 DVD, Now 3 Dreaming Days. Their Seasons Greetings is by far the best packaging they've every done. And the Onstage DVDs are always beautiful. The new on has shipped and will be here in a little over a week.

This shelf is the saddest out of all of them, because I used to have my binders and lego set on here, but it's no longer there. For now I just have some fanmade goods as well as a couple Official MD that I don't really have a proper place to put, like the water proof bag and the HYYH beanie. Funny thing though, below the beanie is a shirt that my best friend bought me for my birthday that is literally just Jungkook derp faces. Bless.

And finally the bottom shelf. This shelf has tall stuff, like the Star1 Magazines, posters, etc. I also keep all of my BTS photocards in those binders. This is kind of... I wouldn't say sad, but you can definitely tell BTS is my bias group, because I have five binders for BTS alone, as opposed to five binders for every other group. The Black one has all of the official Korean photocards/stickers, the white one has all of the official Japanese photocards and stickers, the second black one has my group order slogans and photocards, the green is the Jimin binder (yes he has his own binder) with unofficial/fanmade photocards, and the second white one is the unofficial/fanmade photocards for the rest of the group.

That big pink box is what the lego set came in. I have two Star1 Magazines that BTS was featured in (one with them on the cover), then there's the 2nd Muster Mini Poster set that's too big to put in my binders, so it's stayed there in it's case, the Miningful Moment Trigger the Fever Jimin photobook (from a twitter GO), my 1st muster photo set is in that first blue photo album, and then the second one has some unofficial postcards. The magazine holder has my Grazia magazine from when Agust D had an article in it, The Red Bullet clear file set, some Hip Hop Monster clear folders, and two Asta TV Style Magazines that BTS was featured in, as well as my Suga Hip Hop Monster little note book.

And that's everything. Wow, I honestly didn't expect this post to turn out as long as it did, but I guess that's what happens when you have a lot to show. It's mostly because of the pictures. I kind of wish I had just made a video, but I didn't think about it until I was almost done, and I was not about to waste all my hard work to put this together. But, uh, do let me know if you would like to see the DVD and CDs when they get here.

Also, if any of you wanna see my photocard collection, or get a more detailed view of all of the CDs and magazines and stuff, etc., let me know. But I will probably put those in a video as opposed to another long af blog post. Thank you for reading all of this is you made it this far. I hope you got some sort of enjoyment out of seeing a fellow kpoppers most prized possessions.

Bye~~

-Kai

My room tends to be very dusty fast so I have mine kept for so long. Your room is so nice and it's like I'm seeing a store itself. So. Organized. Wow.
