personality

— ( friendly, talkative ) hannah accidentally makes friends, when she finds someone interesting that she'll want to talk to, she talks to them and typically will make friends with them. her members always joke because often times they're held up because hannah had made a friend and won't stop talking to them.
— ( out going ) if you put hannah in a room with people she doesn't know, more than likely she'll be the first one to speak, which ties in with the fact that she's friendly. she'll probably leave the room with a few new friends at that. she loves to include people and make a fun environment for everyone.
— ( colorful ) her emotions are endless and they're very bright and obvious. when she's sad, she's literally the epitome of sadness from inside out. mopey and quiet. when she's happy, she's always bouncy and loud. her emotions are usually very exaggerated.
— ( ditzy ) this girl is giggly. she laughs at dumb jokes, doesn't click with 'smart' points easily and has a ton of 'blonde' moments.
— ( airheaded ) this fits with ditzy well, things just seem to go into one ear and leave the other as fast as it entered. she has very selective hearing and has a bad habit of tuning everything out and going off into lala land.
— ( 4d ) fitting with colorful, when ever she's experiencing an emotion, you always know she is, she's very readable and she's a terrible liar because she's read so easily most times. when ever the girls want to sneak out or asked something and they have to lie, they make hannah stand behind everyone.
— ( obvious, good liar ) even though she has a thing for playing pranks, she usually can't get away with them because she always gets caught while trying to impliment them, or she laughs until the one she's trying to prank realizes she had done something, when hiding from someone her giggles will be heard, the only thing she's not obvious at, is telling lies, she can easily think them out and go for the strategical road.
— ( oblivious ) she never knows what's going on. reading the atmosphere is not her strong point and she's usually the one to ask when lunch is moments after a member got an ankle injury or something along the lines.
— ( carefree ) hannah goes with the flow and doesn't really let things bring her down, so she's rarely angry for long amounts of time.
— ( forgetful ) the management is lucky that she can remember her lines, dances let alone her own name. she's okay with names but if you ask her a favor and she gets distracted, it will never get done until you pester her about it until it's completed.
— ( easily distracted ) the members joke that she has the attention span of a toddler
— ( cry baby ) whether it's a happy story or a sad story or she's angry enough, she'll more than likely shed a tear or at least tear up. sometimes if she's moved enough she'll completely bawl her eyes out.
— ( well meaning ) even though sometimes she may mean to do something in a positive light, it could easily go wrong, or even terrible. she's the best at accidentally doing these things.
— ( easily angered ) her fuse on the little anger bomb inside of her is probably less than two centimeters long. it takes a lot to anger her because she's not too picky, but when something does anger her, she goes off and her friends would call her the 'clap back queen' when she was in america.

background

— hannah was born in the states and had a pretty normal life. her sister left home for south korea when hannah was only 7 so she doesn't have very many memories of her but she remembers her parents always talking about her and seeing pictures of her.
when she grew up hannah was honestly a problem child. from pre-k to the fourth grade she was always in disciplinary trouble. they weren't bad to the point where she would get sent to the office, but she would get many write ups, thus leading her to be grounded for a majority of her child hood.
around the time of sixth grade her behaivor became less bad and more keniving. she was the plot master of everything her and her friends would do, so it was rare for her to actually get in trouble. she was good in school, but outside of school she got into some stuff that any teenager delves into in high school obviously.
in 2014, when her older sister was having her new debut with lucky j, she invited hannah out to visit during some of her down time which hannah quickly flew over to korea to visit. just the second day of her visiting, while at a music festival with her sister, a cube representative spotted jessi, and then offered hannah to audition for the company which she happily agreed and auditioned the following saturday and got in.

— she easily bruises on her legs and arms, she's been to the doctor for it but they just said she has weak blood vessles
— she can produce an ear piercing screech that can't be good for her vocal chords
— she loves memes and is always relating things to memes or reciting one
— she carries a little hand mirror with her everywhere
— she writes with her left hand but eats and does everything else with her right
— wants to play a psychopath in a drama or movie
— her favorite food is tteokbokki or anything spicy
— she eats the spicy korean ramen even though it makes her cry real tears
— her favorite piece of clothing is her supreme crop top
— her anime crushes are haru from free, light from death note, death the kid from soul eater and then link from the zelda series is her all time favorite
— she has a bad habit of saying "i'm going to throw up on myself" when she sees someone she doesn't like
— she doesn't like being compared to her older sister, especially because she's often considered less talented

hannah and her mother have the sterotypical mother daughter relationship. hannah didn't tell her mom much until she got closer to when she was leaving for korea, so they really got close towards the time hannah was soon to leave.

hannah and her father joke around a lot. she's definately a daddy's girl but she loves her mom a lot as well. her and her father have more in common interest wise so they're always playing video games together and such.
— older sister • jessi ho / age / soloist and member of lucky j / loud, 'doesn't give a ', fierce, can be pushy, no filter / 10/10
because jessi was all hannah had when she came to korea, their bond that was very frayed, quickly mended itself because hannah was living with jessi before moving into the dorm. the two act like they never had the gap in time when they didn't see each other. jessi is really soft on hannah and her fierce, scary image seems to melt away when she's talking to her sister.

obviously the two aren't twins, but because hannah tries to stick yeowool as much as she can, they're often regarded as the twins. hannah first met yeowool when she began training and because she was entirely too new to the country, she found shelter in her, so yeowool is the best thing next to sliced bread to hannah. the two love getting into cute trouble together and they often laugh a lot and make jokes.

alyssa is in america, and even though she's korean she doesn't plan on moving to korea any time soon, so alyssa and hannah are stuck communicating through text, calls and face time where they just catch up. when hannah talks about alyssa to her group mates, she calls her her 'hoe friend'.

Trainee Life

— because hannah had only briefly been to korea for the first time when she got scouted, the adjustment to the culture was hard on her so she had to talk about it a lot with her older sister who went through much of the same thing. because hannah also was fresh from college, she didn't have to worry about school, but that meant that the school hours she'd typically have, were dedicated to training. hannah felt as if she weren't improving so she spent much more time training than the others and she began to choose training and sleep over food, which caused her to be exhausted and her body weight dropped at that to the point in order to debut, they actually had her put on some kgs because she was beginning to look unhealthy.
