Nell was born as Choi Soojung on Spring 1994 in Seoul. She rarely uses the name Choi Soojung as she felt like Choi Nell suits her persona better. Her family consist her eomma, Choi Hee, her Appa, Choi Wook adn her brother Choi Dongwook a.k.a Se7en Yes, she's the baby sister of the world known idol. Nell aand Se7en had a large . So with that, Se7en always treat her like his own daughter as their parents were too busy with their own career. But, they're still a loving family.
A year after Dongwook debut as Se7en which is on 2004, their parents involved in an accident and they passed away. A year later, Se7en brought Nell to America as he have to promote there. Nell's passion towards music was quite influenced by Se7en. I mean she grew up with his musics and dances. Se7en put her in a ballet class so she can continue her ballet that she's been practicing since she was 5. The other reason also was so she could fill her time during Se7en's absence. They came back to Korea 2 years later and lived in a penthouse that Se7en bought in Seocho-dong, Seoul.
In 2007, she was scouted by the staffs from Starship Entertainment while she and Se7en was taking a trip to Jeju-do. She was trained there to be an actress and not being in a girl group. She made her debut on wide screen in 2009 through the film 'A Brand New Life'. She potrays the character Yeshin. Later she plays the character Yuki in IRIS when Hyun-jun and Seung-hee encounter a young Japanese schoolgirl while in Akita by the name of Yuki. Her family operates one of the tourist traps nearby, and she exhibits affection for Hyun-jun and attempts to find herself in his company as much as possible. Later, it is Hyun-jun that needs her, as Yuki and her family help him when he needs them most. She gain recognization from that drama. Later, she star in many dramas and movies.
When being an actress, Nell realized that she's still find herself passionate about musics. She then requested the CEO to let her train and be a part of a girl group. After a while, her CEO granted her request after seeing her talent and let her trained to became an idol. However, she still acts but lesser than before.

Nell is a beautiful soul. She brightens up people's lives with hers;you ask people what life without her would be like and they couldnt tell you. She is and important part of people's lives. She has an effect on everyone she meets, one of those people who are hard to forgegt. It may be because of her affectionate and caring nature but she feels bas if she hurts anyone even she doesnt know them. She doesnt like to see people feeling hurt but she would give up her own hapiness for any of her frinds as she very protective of them. A: I actually just finished my drama and literally I have no jobs right now. As I'm getting older, I'm hoping that I can maybe go out with someone on my free time which is right now.
Q: i see. ok, can you please describe to me a little more of your ideal type? ( be as specific as possible )
A: my ideal type.. hmm.. My dream man is Kang Chul from W. Yeah the drama. Kang Chul is a brave, hardworking, laid back amd so many more good traits on him. And the most important thing is he's a romantic guy. Yeah, my ideal type should be the romantic as possible.
Q: if you are to pick an idol as your ideal partner who will it be?
A : ahh this is hard. I mean im close with so many male idols. They have their own charms. But the one that really close to my ideal type is SHINee Minho. I've worked with him in the drama "Medical Top Team". The way he treated me and everyone, gosh I'm totally swoon on him.
Q: that is cute. ok, how will you behave in front of someone you have feelings for?
A: Its my time to show off my charms. I'm like "I gotta have him and no one can take him" *burst out laughing* 😂😂
