If you ever met Nell or ever heard about her, you will have a hard time to forget her because of the positive vibes that she brought made people remember her really well. background » Nell was born on 4th May 1994 to a single mother, Choi Seolhee or Jane Choi, a Korean who immigrated to Michigan, USA and worked as a nurse in Michigan. Nell's father died when she was still in her mommy's womb. Nell's mother was sick after giving birth to her and died when Nell was about 5 months old. After that, Nell was adopted by the Henney's family who is closed to Nell's mother. They change her last name and join the family legally. Growing up, Nell was showered with full of love and attention. As a student, she had been the top student in her class. She was also known for being good-hearted and polite. She has the looks but was an easy going person. Since little, she had shown her interest in music and dancing. Therefore, her parents put her in a music academy. In 2009, while on a vacation with her family in Korea, she was scouted by Dream T Entertainment. She started her training and debut as a member of Girl's Day in 2010.

TRAINEE BACKGROUND » She was scouted in 2009 while taking a trip to Korea. Nell decided to give it a shot and it took her to what she is today. when she first got into training things, many knew that she was Daniel's precious sister (obviously because of her surname) and also because she's a foreigner. Some trainees would try to get closer to her because of that. She had trouble with the language and the culture at first but a few weeks later, she began to adapt with everything that is going on around her. there were even some who would think that the trainers were showing favoritism towards her when she was praised, yet it was all due to her hard work. as this continued, she started getting insecure about certain things, fortunately, it all soon stopped after a while and she made a lot of friends easily, being the social butterfly that she is. more people liked her for who she is and acknowledged her of her singing and dancing skills.

when she was well adjusted to how things worked around the industry, she focused more into her training which is rap & dance. she wasn't one of the best singers but her singing was decent. her dance, however, was what she was most confident in. her rap & singing have improved since she began taking lessons but no doubt that her dance was better.

the tiresome and endless practices and jobs aside almost made her call quits at some point. it was exhausting but she endured it, waiting for her debut.

Nell debut as Girl's Day's member in 2010 and upon their debut Girl's Day gained popularity through their images, concept, and music. Up to 2016, they had endorsed up to 20 commercials and is one of the hottest girl group until now.

In 2011, Nell made a debut on acting through an MBC sitcom, High Kick 3 where she portrays the character Ahn Soojung. She then gained her own popularity and get many jobs offered to her. For Dream Tea Entertainment, she's the real gem. In the same year too, Dream T collaborating with SME on a project consisting Nell and TVXQ Changmin to form a duo. The duo named 2Stars and gained popularity as soon as they debut. The duo is still going strong with their powerful concepts.

Nell alone had been endorsed various of brands including Adidas, and even now she's the ambassador of Korean's Aston Martin. She was appointed as the special representative of the South Korea committee for UNICEF and had been to many campaigns to raise awareness alongside Choi Siwon. 

In 2018, in supporting Daniel on Criminal Minds, she made a cameo in episode 6 of Criminal Minds season 13. She and Daniel are currently the face of Wide Angle, a clothing brand since 2014.

choi minho definitely made heads turn wherever he went even if it was at his own agency. minho is a very friendly person and is quite outgoing. he'll usually be the first to approach you with a huge smile on his face and his hand held out for a handshake. he tries his best to have a conversation and become friends with you. minho is a big fan of romantic gestures, both big and small. he believes in holding open doors, offering his coat to her at the slightest hint of coldness, and giving her flowers. normally this would set nell's heart flutter, and really it still does. as you get to know minho more you'll see that he's a very passionate person for his work, and pretty much anything he likes and sets his mind on doing. he puts his 110% into everything his does and always aims for the stars. he doesn't believe that anything is impossible as long as one is willing to work for it at all costs. He's very determined and doesn't let a hardship or bump in the road bring him down. Fall down seven times, stand up eight is his motto.  His competitiveness cannot be compared with others. his competitiveness is the next level where he's very determined to win and will never admit a defeat. you can see his competitive spirit in let's go dream team and running man and also other shows that require him to play games. however, his competitive spirit has slowed down as he aged but still, his determination to win is still there.

Although Minho, in a nutshell, seems like the perfect man, which he is, he does have his flaws like everyone else. He tends to be quite oblivious at times. If he doesn't understand something he'll usually just sits back quietly and ponder about it. He may seem like a guy who would be overfilling with confidence, but that is really far from the case with him. He does have confidence, but he still worries greatly about not being good enough not only musically, but for his group. His insecurity you could call it. Minho is also a worry wart and worries about pretty much everything there is to worry about.

RELATIONSHIP »  
they first met in 2012 when Nell & SHINee were picked to be the new faces of Etude. Nell already knew what they looked like since she's practically a 'little' fan of SHINee and has seen pictures of them but it was her first time actually seeing them in person at the photoshoot site, she was awe-struck. there's one particular member caught her eyes which is Minho. he also treated her nicely, and from then on, she gained a little innocent crush on him. Minho having talked to s and having described Nell to be 'lovely'. 

the two have lots of fun together whenever they hang out whether it's on screen through some talk show, or off screen privately in some disguise, but whenever he ends up noticing her paying attention to other guys in a potential romantic way, he secretly gets jealous and the light and happy atmosphere would somehow shift into an awkward and slightly negative one. he suddenly starting to realize that he might have a crush on her, too... if she still likes him in that way for he's not sure whether her feelings are the same or not for she's less flustered when with him and treats him like a friend so, until he has a really obvious idea on it, he decided not to do anything about it, and instead, will just continue caring for her and such, but a bit more intimately.

Minho always tries to be there for Nell, they both know what each other's like and don't. Minho would spend his night with Nell on SM building or Dream T building or watching a sunset together on the rooftop and hanging out until 2 or 3 a.m. Minho is not a morning person so Nell would call him to wake him up, makes sure that he won't be late for his schedule. They are not the type of couple who would text each other once in an hour or call each other hourly. They only text each other when they need and call when they can't meet at night. They think that spending time together is more precious than spending the time texting each other and can't talk in person.
 

Minho confessed his true feelings to Nell in spring 2015, Nell's most favorite season. While they're chatting together on the rooftop, Minho naturally asks Nell to be his girlfriend. He had to confirm their relationship since they're getting deeper. And naturally, Nell said yes because her heart tells her too. Their relationship was really private. at first, its just the two of them and now their members know as well and promised to keep that a secret.

Minho always tries to spend times with her whenever he could run over when he heard she's in pain. They would worry about each other when one of them is injured. The other SHINee members also said that "Minho treats her like a Queen, we could see the honey dripping out from his eyes whenever he sees her." Nell loves having Minho as a company, she would tell him her worries without doubt anymore. She would tell him about anything that bothers her a lot. They tend to chat rather than having a phone call or video call, Nell loves seeing him in person rather through a video. His fans know that he has a female friend and understand them for that. Minho makes sure that their private life is private, he would shield her rather than shielding himself when they're going out.

However, early 2018, they were caught dating in Nell's apartment and they had to reveal that they had been dating for 3 years already and still going strong. part of them disagree with their relationship but most of them accept it with open arms. the fans that disagree with the relationship went wild at first and many bad things happened to them such as threats from sasaeng fans until both of them had to move out from respective houses because it was sent directly to each house. months later, the situation becomes under control as there are more of the fans supporting them than opposes the relationship. both of them were hurt at first but after that, they become more grateful towards their fans. 

They both were cast in Idol House before they were caught dating. The producer thought that it will be a great idea to have them in the show since yeah well they're a real couple and it will boost the ratings and so all. so in the show, they just be themselves and act as naturally as possible and of course, the other members love teasing them.
