So I totally disappeared to the world for about 3 weeks when this game dropped... I just finished it this past weekend.

All I can say is... ( TT___________TT )

Without giving the story away, the maturity of this game compared to previous ones (I've played VIII, X/X-2, XII, XIII and was on XIII-2 when this dropped) is phenomenal.  The soundtrack, as usual, blows it out of the water.  The bond between the main characters has you feeling literally like they're friends you've know for a lifetime.  The flow of the story has you feeling carefree, burdened, desperate, hope, regret, and completely utterly emotional.  It's supplemented by the anime Brotherhood and movie Kingsglaive where it takes you a full circle on what started it all.

Not to say there weren't parts of the game that seemed choppy or lacking... but overall, this game brought brotherhood, loyalty, and sacrifice to a whole new level in the FInal Fantasy world.  I'm left struggling to enjoy the post-game content without feeling depressed as .

Well, at least there's FFVII Remastered to look forward to next... if it comes out before I wither away that is.
