ELABORATION —

• never being one to slack off, joori is well-known for her passionate personality. she is a very hard worker and doesn't give up easily on things she wishes to achieve. she is definitely a fighter, one who fights for their dreams and goals in life. she isn't easily side-tracked and is good at keeping her focus on the things in important to her in life. always truthful and full of candor, joori's very genuine to everyone she meets. she doesn't lie or sugarcoat anything, she simply tells the truth. she's kind of an open-book with her life, not really hiding much unless she is asked about her life, then she'll simply tell all about it. she's simple and believes that there are no need for lies in this world, rather the truth is all anyone ever really needs. not easily scared or shaken, joori is very calm and well put together. she isn't over the top like most people, being more of an introvert rather than an extrovert. she is very chill and laidback, unlike most people her age; whom of which tend to be more highstrung than others. she is very minimal with her responses but answers with what needs to be said without adding extra endeavors to it in order to make things sound nicer or prettier.

• despite her being quite wonderful and easy to deal with, joori has her own flaws just like any other person would; one of them being her blunt nature. she can be quite brutal with her honesty, often saying what's on her mind regardless of whether it will hurt someone or not. she doesn't really get that words can hurt people but does apologize whenever she "offends" or just simply hurts someone. not really much of a talker, joori is very quiet and muted. she doesn't speak unless spoken to, it's just how she is. she isn't good at starting or holding conversations, being kind of a loner most of her life. mostly due to her introverted nature, joori is quite awkward around other people she doesn't know very well. she is typically an observer, not one to interact ever. she is uncomfortable around strangers and struggles to get her words out when she is with a stranger.

BACKGROUND —

• hwan joori was born in seoul, south korea on december 29th, 1997 to hwan minhyun and nari. she grew up living a very simple and casual life with two loving parents. her father was professional photographer who had a studio in their home's basement while her mother was a librarian at the local library. this meant joori grew up very involved in reading and photography, two of her favorite things in the world. she wasn't spoiled at all, considering her family didn't make much money to just spend it at will. as she grew up, joori was very much a loner who mostly kept to herself, either reading, studying, or doing her homework. she was nver one to get in trouble or to cause any. her only friend was her neighbor, dongmin, who would come over to her house often to explore her father's studio as well as her mother's personal study that was filled with hundreds of books. the two were always happy when they were with each other as dongmin was one of the only people who could make joori smile. however, joori's happy family life soon ended in 2010 when she was only thirteen years old. she had been with her father, whom was driving, when they were hit from behind by a garbage truck with catapulted them into oncoming traffic where they were hit by a large van. the accident took the life of her father, who died upon impact from the van and had severely injured joori, who had luckily come out of the accident with a broken left arm, pelvis, and left leg. she had multiple bruises and lacerations on her body, which didn't help with her already broken state. after she was discharged from the hospital, her and her mother buried her father before proceeding to move away to busan, where her mother's family lived. joori had to leave dongmin and her whole life behind, for busan. after recovering and finishing high school, joori moved back to seoul to attend university at ewha womans university as a philosophy major. her first job she got was at the lunchbox delivery service and it's where she has been working ever since her moving back to seoul.

 

LIFESTYLE — 

• joori is currently living in a dorm on ewha woman university's campus. she shares her dorm with one other person, who just so happens to be a japanese foreign exchange student. the two don't talk to each other too much, but her roommate (sana) is always attempting to make conversation. her typical day consisting of getting up and cleaning herself up for the day before heading out to class at around 9 a.m till about 12 p.m. after classes, which are usually only morning classes that alternate everyday, she goes and gets herself lunch with will sometimes be with sana or just by herself. after lunch at about 1 p.m., joori heads over to the lunchbox delivery service she works at for her shift to start from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. after joori's shift ends, she will head home and take care of any school assignments that need taken care of, which usually means she finishes at around 10-10:30 p.m. before going to bed completely. on days when joori has her day off from the lunchbox delivery service, she usually spends her days taking photographs with her camera as well as taking care of more school assignments. even when she is working, joori keeps one of her smaller cameras with her to take pictures while she travels from one destination to the next in order to deliver people's meals. how does joori deliver the orders? she rides moped scooter and puts the orders in the seat compartment on the bike in order to keep the meals safe without leaking or getting destroyed.
