forever21

So it's official: Not 2, nor 1, but 2NE1 is gone.

All that remain are their iconic songs. Songs that CL wants to let go of, yet couldn't for now since-- Didn't I write previously that I'll only know YG thinks solo CL has made it if he announces a definite sked for her group's comeback? Is the disbandment a sign that she isn't there yet despite her concert tour and being featured by a few mainstream media outlets in America? Remember, fans were zooming in on Dara although she was just cheering the former leadah from the back/sidelines. (Some of us thought Darabbit's NY adventure series was for 2NE1 TV. Gave us bits of hope. Now, it seems like it was YG using her X factor to help promote CL.) How crazier the reaction would've been if Bom and/or Minzy had been there, too. Fans have been missing the group's performance. So CL is stuck with their songs for the meantime. (Honestly, MTBD is her only solo that I can appreciate. I'm not exactly into her other solos. They just make her sound like a Korean Nicki Minaj. Although she puts the oomph in 2NE1 songs, I'm not a fan of her singing voice--compared to her talking voice.)

Or were some Blackjacks right? That is, YG was just stringing everyone all along. That he had no plans to let the group do a comeback. Didn't he say that Blackjacks should all support CL's solo bid if they wanted more of 2NE!? Tsk tsk... Bad YG, so so bad.

So what's Bom gonna do? Join Minzy's label? Is her Kpop career over? And Dara, what's her next project in Korea? She's doing a comeback all right--in the Philippines. And when will her movie be shown? If ever--gosh, that sounds depressing. Can't even remember its title.

Btw, is 2NE1's breakup the reason for Top's seeming drunken Insta posts yesterday? LOL. It couldn't be his approaching enlistment coz it's still months away. Shippers are probably postulating it's because of Bom's departure from YG. On the other hand, is the breakup the reason for Dara's "healing trip" to the Philippines?
