NaNoWriMo 2k16 | Fifty Shades of Bangtan [Trailer]

It's already been a year since I last did NaNoWriMo. That's so crazy to think about...

Last year, I barely made it past the 50k, and when I did, it kind of sent me into writer's block cause I burned all of my juice onto one story. And it was so frustrating. This year, I'm going to do things slightly different.

The goal for me is to honestly just write 50k. I did have a novel in mind, originally, to work on, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I have so much I'm already writing, and since I burned out on novel last year, I don't want to repeat that and end up having yet another year of writer's block.

Now, that's not to say I don't specific things I am working on, because I definitely do. It's just that I'm giving myself multiple things to work on, so I don't burn out AND manage to get some long awaited work finished (stuff that's been planned since early 2015).

A while back, when I first started posting Fifty Shades of Jimin, in April of 2015, I had started planning a surprise for my readers, along with my best friend, yongharu21 a.k.a Haru. It's been a year and a half since then, and a year since it was supposed to have been posted. Needless to say, I got really behind on it (we both did, though it was moreso me), and it just hasn't happened yet. We still want to post it, but I've given up on it being a total surprise. So, I'm going to reveal it here.

Now, before you even SAY anything, it's not going to be posted until after the new year, it's not happening this year, regardless, and I understand some of you who read FSOJ may get excited over this, but I ask that you please be considerate of me and Haru, as we try and finish it and perfect it, so we can share it with you guys in it's best form possible, when the time is right. You can share your excitement for the story, but no rushing for it to come, or asking us to post it sooner, please.

Without further ado, I present to you Fifty Shades of Bangtan.

This stroy is a treat for all Armys, regardless of who your bias is. It is entirely a joint effort from the idea, to the planning to the writing itself, between Haru and I, and this story is our baby. We've been looking forward to sharing this story for a year and a half already, and we've put a lot into it so far, and will continue to put more. The trailer and the poster were both made by Haru herself, as the amazing graphic designer she is.

I don't want to reveal too much about the story, because I would like to keep at least a tiny element of suprise for the readers. Just know that there will be fluff, romance and quite a bit of (). It's obviously going to be rated m, so do keep that in mind if you decide to partake in reading this story, come early 2017.

Now, the point of this blog wasn't for me to reveal FSOB (though that is part of it). This is about NaNoWriMo, and my plans for it.

I've decided to use NaNoWriMo, the entire month of November to write the last little bit I need to, to finish FSOB. If I finish it before 50k, then I shall move onto stories that I have in my Dark&Wild challenge or the new story I started planning, depending on what I feel inspired to do when the time comes.

I'm both excited and terrified for this years NaNoWriMo, and I can't wait to get started.

If you're also doing Nano, feel free to add me as a writing buddy ---> here.

Thank you guys so much for giving me support with my writing, and taking the time to encourage me. I honestly appreciate it more than you could ever know.

-Kai
