BACKGROUND :　

Kang Minji or Minji was born in Jeju Island, South Korea on December 31, 1998. Her family is consists of her grandparents and older brother. Her parents have passed away when she was 13 because of an accident. She's living with her grandparents. Her grandfather worked as a farmer of mandarin fruit farm while her grandmother worked as a woman diver. Her older brother 'Jimin' is a student also a choreographer for hobby. Her face and Jimin's are really resembles to each other. People said they're like a twins. At school, she make many friends. Since she is very friendly and easygoing, people can get along with her. She might not be an excellent student in her school, but the teachers know her very well. She also doing well during exam and got nice grades and didn't has any discipline problems. But some students would because she didn't have mom and dad. She lost her parents at the young age and need more loves from them. Anyway, by those teases, she became more stronger and carefree about what others said.

She first gained interest in music and started practicing singing after listening to Christina Aguilera's music. She then listen to a lot of music from similar style, but she realized that she couldn't be biased towards certain genre and started listening to dance music and rock as well. When she was 15, she moved to Seoul with her brother to chase her dream. She joined SOPA to get more lesson of music and gained up her interest.

She'd never dream to be an idol yet back then but, one day, she watched Snsd's Into the new world performance for their first concert in the year 2009. Her interest to be an idol gained when saw them successfully make a concert. She thought that the group is full of talented girls and wanted to be like them. Then, she thought carefully and decided to joined an audition when she turned 15. After 3 years preparing, she make a decision to join BigHit Entertainment. She has her own reason why she chose small company to audition. Well before, she actually decided to sign up as SM Entertainment trainee but then changed her mind. She then joined the audition that held by BigHit Entertainment to try her luck. She performed Adele's Rolling in the Deep song and random dancing a bit. She was so lucky that she got to be a trainee in BigHit's company because of her amazing high vocal. After 4 years became a trainee, she was called to debut in BigHit Entertainment's first girl group named CUPID.

He does the lamest jokes. I know and i agree with anybody who says that his jokes are lame. But his jokes are so lame it becomes funny. Ironic? No. The joke he released maybe really nonsense, but the reactions of the people who were there to see him crack a ”funny” joke are totally EPIC. And that’s the thing that makes him really funny. But seriously, Ken’s personality is something i really want to emphasize. Among all the members of VIXX, i can honestly say that he sets the mood of everybody. He is very talkative. N, the leader of the group, may be a real noisy person, but i think Ken is a million {no, a zillion} times more of a chatterbox compared to N. He talks a lot, and he exerts effort to keep everybody jolly. Everytime you watch him crack some jokes, you can never avoid smiling. He also does the weirdest antics. I once saw him in ”Behind the Show” and he just can’t stop ”shooting” fake guns to the audience, impersonating people [i remember one. Kim Gunmo? I’m not sure though.], and smiling. If you can’t tolerate that kind of attitude, you would really love to keep him in a box or place some tape on his mouth to stop him. But even though it’s weird, it’s still adorable. One weird deed is when he was trying to impersonate a MOSQUITO. It was really awkward because i really did not understand what he was doing until he revealed he was actually impersonating a mosquito. It even took me some more minutes before i accepted that what he was impersonating was really mosquito. But the lamest and yet the cutest antic he does are those hearts he makes out of his bush hair. When i watched VIXX in Studio C hosted by Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu and Shorry J and BTOB’s Eunkwang, i just can’t stop laughing at everything he does. He looks crazy and weird as he made the ”hearts” from his hair and the other members of VIXX and the hosts’ reactions were totally awkward. I’m just happy that even the bush hair is gone, he still makes hearts with his magical hands and with overflowing concentration. For me, Ken’s attitude is really unique and genuine. And though he frequently shows his imperfect side, i still like him the way he is, and i’m hoping that he will never change as he evolves as a person and an idol ,and VIXX as they grow and mature as a group.

LOVE STORY : At first, she was attracted by Ken's lovely voice. He is really a good singer. She never meet a guy that can sing well like him. When she heard Ken's voice, her heart would pounding faster. Then, after he got to know Ken deeply, she realized that Ken's personality is really attracting. She likes a guy who has sense of humor. He knows how to cheer up people around him. She found that Ken is adorable even she talked to him. She became more fall in love with Ken and it'll never stop.
