park jangmi also known as vanilla was born on april 7, 2000 in seoul, south korea. her family is consists of her parents, older brother and herself. she's come from average family. vanilla's dad owned a book shop while her mom is a businesswoman. her older brother, jaehwan, is photographer. since she was a kid, her dad who always took care of she and her sister. her mom rarely be at home because she always outstation, she was busy managing her business in london. but, it doesn't mean she didn't care about her children. she used to call them every night before they slept. because of that, vanilla isn't close with her mom but she really missed her. at home, vanilla took the role of her mom taking care of the house and cooked for her family. she became independent since she was young. she almost did everything by herself.

at school, she's kind of popular because she was #1 top student every year. she got all A's in exam. the teachers shocked yet impressed by her intelligents. besides academics, she's active in sports too and good as well. students felt comfortable to be around her because of her friendly personality. and of course, there's some haters. but she didn't care and still treat them nicely like everyone. she used to help teaching the students with subject that they wanted to learn. she's willing to help with rounded heart. she said everyone in the school are her friends.

actually, she's interested in dance since she was 4. everytime she heard music, she would dance to it happily. her dad recorded it and show it to her when she's grown up. she didn't took any dance classes. that talent already built in herself. she really likes dancing, she said it's make her feel great.

when she was 11, she became interested in rapping. that happened when she watched eminem video on youtube. she thought that rapping is so cool especially the gestures. she found that them, the rappers, are really passionate in music. that's make her wanted to learn rap and realized that she's kinda good at it. she's even practiced eveyday because she really loves rapping.

she started making a youtube channel 'vanilla rose' when she's 14.
