first of all, hyerin loves to be herself and hate to be fake. she always show her true self in front of
camera and everywhere. like everyone know, she is full of vibrant and not easily get mad. if she's angry, she'll just smile. she didn't like to be angry because your face will look older than you. she is truly funny but sometimes she'll do lame jokes. then, she'll ended by laughing by herself. but trust me, she has many jokes to tell you. her personality will make people feel comfortable everytime they with her. she'll never make you feel bored. one more thing, if she found someone who has a quiet personality she'll encouraging them to talk. she didn't care if that person is mad at her. the important is no silent. she hate silent very much. she also hate boring guy.

this girl has no shy, she'll greet everyone that close with her, although they are her seniors or strangers. she would introduce herself then promote about her group cheerfully. so friendly. talk about carefree, she didn't care if you talk bad about her. for her, it's like a compliment and a courage for her. she also didn't like to keep what she feel and always said something straightforward or other word outspoken. she'll tell you what she likes and what she hates. but if there something that will make you feel bad, she'll never say it. she is a dreamy girl. she likes to dream before she does something, she has a lot of imagination. but sometimes she'll ended up with bad things happened to her. moreover, she really like skinship. she would feel appreciated with skinship. especially backhug. she always do that to the members to show her love. 

she can be clumsy and nervous. don't think that she is full of confident, she might looks brave and optimistic but inside, nobody even knows. hyerin is really playful. she like to tease the leader a lot and the maknae, nobody can totally control her. she likes to prank them along. if there's any problems, she'll keep them by herself and didn't want to share. she prefers suffered by herself rather than make people worried. that's her big problem. she'll hide them with her bright personality.

kim hyerin or vanilla was born in seoul, south korea on february 7, 1997. her family is consists of her parents and older sister. her father is a ceo of a big company in seoul while her mother owned a cafe shop. her older sister 'kim hyelim' also known as 'lime' is an idol of a kpop girl group 'hello venus'. her face and lime's are really resembles to each other. people said they're like a twins. at school, she make many friends. since she is very friendly and easygoing, people can get along with her. she might not be an excellent student in her school, but the teachers know her very well. she also doing well during exam and got nice grades and didn't has any discipline problems.

she first gained interest in music and started practicing singing after her sister debuted in hello venus. she wanted to be like her sister, as soon as she started likes singing and dancing. there's no obstacle from her parents because that's what she wants and they support her. anyway, in 2014, she knew vixx. she listened to vixx's song 'eternity' and fell in love with the group.

other than singing and dancing, she also likes acting. she would like to be an actress if she had the chance. so, she tried to audition as an actress then she passed. because of her passion and interest in acting, she was called to act in the new school drama concept along with infinite's woohyun. she surprised yet excited since the hero was woohyun, someone she had knew for a long time. in 2014, she was debuted as an actress by sudden.

she didn't make any decision yet back then but, lime told her to try an audition from jyp entertainment. after thinking many times, she agreed. she then her luck in the company and got accepted. she trained in the company for a year then was transferred to jellyfish entertainment because her style didn't fit those qualifications. she accepted with an open heart but disappointed at the same time. she tried harder in jellyfish for about 2 and half years then was called to debut in gugudan. she was thankful to herself for the hardworks all day long.

— pop, ballad; a pop song when she can sings along and practice her vocal. she needs the ballad song to help her sleep well
— pizza; she can eats plenty boxes of pizza, she loves the pepperoni and cheese
— popsicles; you can found many flavors and shape, it's very cute and tasty
