EXO's Kai gave us a very personal and sincere update on his current condition! The star injured his leg during concert rehearsals some time this past March, and hasn't been able to perform choreography on stage with the rest of s since.

He wrote via EXO's "From Star" portal on the group's official website:

"Hello. This is EXO's Kai.

I've missed you.

You have no idea how much I've missed you.

After wrapping up our concerts, I wanted to see you all some more so I came running here to 'From Star'.

Have you heard the news?

I've finally started dancing again.

Today, there's no phrase that could be happier than this.

Before I got on stage, my legs were shaking and I was so nervous I didn't know what to do, but once I was in front of you all, I was just happy. It feels like it did when I first debuted.

When I came down from the stage, I thought back to how I went through physical therapy daily for this day, I thought of how grateful I was toward the members who've suffered, and I wanted to say how grateful I am toward EXO-L, who have been a supportive foundation for me through it all.

I can't be up on every stage yet, but I will continue to show you different stages from here on.

I've realized how precious a stage is again, and I will work hard so that this time, I can be a supportive foundation for you.

The long summer has gone, and fall has come with the breeze. I hope that you will be dyed with happiness just as the mountains are dyed with colors.
