Number one, I don’t like deadlines and they don’t like me. If I give myself a deadline and make it public, I get scared and never log into my account if I don’t meet it.

Number two, if you can’t write something right now, it’s okay. No one is going to hate you and those that will, don’t matter.

And number three, the reason why I wrote more during the school year and almost not at all during summer is because during school I am in full on work mode. My motivation is high, inspiration is everywhere, and the need (or want) to breaks in between projects is almost non-existence. The summer or spring or whatever on the other hand, my mind turns off and all I am capable of doing is lounging around, watching k-dramas, and occasionally hanging out with a friend or two.

Have I been writing? Of course. But compared the 4-5 pages I write a day during the school year to the maybe two paragraphs I squeeze out once a week in summer, it’s almost not worth mentioning. Creativity cannot be forced, and that’s what I was trying to do this summer but the motivation just wasn’t there. And that’s okay. So is the fact that there are stories I am going to completely change someday because what I was writing before doesn’t work for me anymore.

I’m really taking my time with these updates and I can’t think you all enough for being so patient with me. I’ve grown a lot as a writer and I want this fic to showcase that. Plus there’s one or two things I want to add in IPU that requires me to change INLG first. INLG is still my number on priority followed by Heavens Day followed by…everything else.

All in all, I am fine, happy, insanely busy with work and school, and I couldn’t be happier. No matter how much I complain, the lazy Sunday everyday life just isn’t for me.
