I was kinda sorta tagged in this and thought it might be fun. Enjoy loves, and happy 12th!

Where do you usually write?
Usually my room but I have been known to be that person in a coffee shop who buys one small drink and stays for hour’s haha. I’m a bit of an Emily Dickens.

What’s different about where you wrote last year and where you write this year?
I uses to write in class a lot but I cut down on that because one, I should be paying attention and two, I go to school in Asia. People recognize the name and it doesn’t take much for them to put two and two together.

Describe the circumstances that lead to your best writing?
I’m not sure if this is referring to a muse or the setting I need to write so I’ll briefly (haha since when have I been brief) talk about both of them. As I usually have music playing when I write, I can be just about anywhere, silent or not (again I uses to write during my lectures haha), but that’s just the setting. What really gets me going is my muse (if you require a visual picture the fairy from Zelda only twice as annoying). Anything can trigger her. A song, a picture, another fic, anything. I guess that’s the best time to write, when she’s nagging me haha.

What kinds of writing materials do you use (i.e.: computer, long hand, special pen)?
My computer. If I use pen and paper no one will ever see it because I do not have the energy to do twice.

How do you come up with topics?
I get my ideas from my muse and she is inspired by anything and everything (see above). Like I’ll hear a story from a friend and be like, oo, fic idea!

How many times do you revise?
Do you have time? I revise so much it is painful. Screw editing, I’m talking about literally cutting and rewriting . I do this anywhere between 8 times and up. And I’m still only semi happy with what I produce.

What part of a story do you tend to find most difficult?
Descriptions. Specify convey the character’s feelings. I think I’m at it and every creative writing teacher I’ve ever had agrees haha.

What are you writing rituals? What do you do to get ready to write?
Find a playlist on 8tracks and go.

What do you do when you’re stuck?
I never really get stuck. It’s more like distracted. I’ll be writing a scene but my muse will be shouting at me to work on something else. I never write things in order and have anywhere between 4 and 10 word docs open at time. I work on that many things at a time.

What have people said about your writing?
I have been compared to the “author” of 50 shades of gray on more than one occasion and I’m still trying to figure out if that is a compliment or not. On one hand, I’m being compared to a published writer with a movie deal. On the other, you’re saying I write like someone who stole a twilight fanfiction and turned it into abusive trash. Seriously, have any of you guys actually read that book? It’s pretty disturbing. It’s written in first person POV so it’s already an awkward read because the main girl is pretty awkward on her own but writing aside, it’s just flat out creepy. If within the first few days of meeting a guy, and my BOSS no less, he spoke to me like that, I would ing book it and I’m as ! Real talk, 40 pages in I’m like “ why aren’t you runnninnnggg! He don’t know where you live at, go!”
I apologize for that rant, back to the point. I heard a lot of things but my writing. Some good others not so much. The word uncomfortable has come up a lot (which is not my fault, they just didn’t read the warning is what that means). I’ve been told I’m talented. That’s always nice to hear. I’ve starting to believe it too haha.
I don’t write for everyone but to the people do enjoy my spewing, they’ve said that they have cried, laughed, been extremely happy, painfully sad, ect. Honestly if I can make one person feel something (and teach them) then at the end of the day it doesn’t matter if I have a 100 suds or 100,000 suds. I love my readers and their kind words. I’m happy.
…I didn’t really answer this properly did I?
