Ah. I hate Bighit.

I remember it as a beautiful Monday morning when I came to school and was just chilling when my seatmate came in panting. She sat down, took a deep breath and told me "Bangtan had released a new video." I wasn't too surprised so I asked her "Is it the So Far Away MV?" 

"No. It's their comeback trailer."

Okay. Wait, no.

WHAT?

A FCKING COMEBACK TRAILER???????

Our lives, changed afterwards.

The following four days are fully filled with our theory talks and well, just generally fangirling. She provided me with theories she saw on Twitter and Youtube, and we shared some opinions as well. We are always caught talking in class but hey, WINGS is important! This was until about four days ago when intra-semester school holidays started and we can't meet up. Of course I have fought back urges of calling her to meet up at a Starbucks nearby with the excuse of "We are going to study together with coffee" and then share opinions about theories there. But well, we are good students, we still have to study for our examination coming up in 27 days if I am not wrong. Why is life so tough gdi

The trailers contain song lyrics in it. So after the second teaser "LIES" came out, we start guessing the songs that contain lyrics that might fit in the situations of the teasers. Our assumptions included Move, Butterfly, Rain... we just thought of any relatable and sad BTS songs. Then I reminded her about I Need U too. So our main guess are those four songs. And guess what? We got I Need U and Move right, with us even guessing the lyrics used in I Need U ("The sky is so blue..." etc.). I feel accomplished lmao

The 1st trailer "BEGIN" is just plain creepy. We spent two days or more arguing over who is in the drawing, but we eventually settled on it being a fusion of Taehyung and Jungkook. I cannot watch this trailer too much for it is too creepy for me. Jungkook's crying shatters my heart as well.

2nd trailer "LIE" is my second favourite teaser. I watched it a lot. Jimin's complementary dance and his HEAVENLY vocals (I can't stop swooning over it omg) just makes me, well, fangirl a lot. However, the occasional flashing of those clips of him strangling his own neck and the scene where he threw his neck back while eating that apple creeps me out.

3rd trailer "STIGMA" got me laughing and joking that one of the videos later should be named "stamen" because stigma is actually the female organ of a flower (gosh, that got me for a while, I need to revise my Science). Anyway, poor Taehyung. This teaser makes my heart ache and Taehyung's vocals OH MY GOSH. He isn't even my bias why he gotta do this to me. And in this trailer I see references way back to Danger MV. WTF BIGHIT.

At this point we were about to wait for the "last" teaser starring Jin but damn, Bighit is at it again, throwing (read as trolling) a bomb on us. The 4th trailer "FIRST LOVE" got us surprised. At this point we should really get used to Bighit's trolling but oh well. Yoongi's playing a piano again. And we see connections with Jungkook's teaser. But as we assume Yoongi's circle would go into the fourth circle of the main logo, then BAM it merged with another circle. And it ain't Jungkook's, it's JIMIN's. Why Bighit why

And there was Namjoon's trailer "REFLECTION". Poor Namjoon, in my opinion it isn't his fault that he could not pick up that phone call (from Taehyung, obviously). And until now, I still cannot understand that teaser well. It is just like Namjoon's personality, mysterious and deep. Namjoon's "I wish I could __ myself" also got me thinking. Is he saying "love"? Or "know"? I am sticking towards "know" though.

And then there's Hoseok's "MAMA". The moment I saw the title I started chanting "Careless careless shoot anonymous anonymous heartless mindless no one who cares about me"(lyrics from EXO's MAMA). That beat in there is so catchy. It's quite creepy too, in another way than BEGIN.

We got a break from Bighit in conjuction with our lovely leader's birthday later that night, an earthquake occurred in Korea, making me assume that Bighit would push back the teaser once more. I went to sleep early since I caught a flu (already almost recovered).

But then today I woke up to AWAKE (is it a pun? lol). It is so hauntingly beautiful and I saw many nice theories online, saying the members are all Seokjin's alter ego (like, what?). And I love Seokjin's vocals (he's my bias after all). This clip is more than 5 minutes long and it's so beautiful (like Seokjin, just kidding). It easily become my favourite teaser out of all seven of them.

Oh and about the book, Demian. I printed the PDF out already, but I have yet to start reading it, I am planning to start it tomorrow since I have something else to do today.

Okay enough of ranting. I don't have any theories though, the things I discovered have already been discovered by others ages ago. I hope they will comeback after Jimin's birthday though (since that's the last day of my dearest exam *sarcasm*), so that I can focus on my studies for some time. Oh and I am definitely buying that new album. So Bighit stop trolling and just take my money lol

What's new about Bighit and those awesome concepts? Obviously nothing.
