"Don't worry. I've got you"
If you are lucky enough to be included in the short roster of people that Gramercy cares about, you would be able to see the kinder side of her. You would know that she's not pure evil. Even if it doesn't overtly show, she'll be concerned for you and would help you if you needed it. She is definitely not one to baby others, except for her brothers of course, but she will care for you and she'll let you know that she'll always be there for you. If she cares for you enough she'll never betray you, because she knows how much betrayal hurts. She'll stand by your side through the toughest times and through you darkest days. But remember that this is a two way deal. She'll stay loyal to you, until you are not.

"I can stand on my own"
Gramercy has been taking care of herself and her family since at a very young age. Her life has taught her and forcibly made her into an independent person. Ever since her father started the beatings, Gramercy had to sometimes take care of her mother and when their parents died, she took care of her baby brothers. She's been through hell and back and all of that had made her into the strong person she is today. She's confident in her abilities and she knows she can conquer any obstacles that comes her way. Though this is a positive thing, it has made her somewhat reluctant when it comes to asking others for help. 

"I'm not insulting you. I'm describing you"
Sugarcoating isn't really her style. Gramercy is a straight-forward person and wil tell you the bitter truth, whether you like it or not. If you , she'll tell you the brutal honesty that you really do . She'll list out the one, two, threes of why you . On a positive note, you can say that she's quite an honest person and will tell you her opinion. But that honesty can come accross as blunt. She rarely takes into consideration of how her words would make others feel, and truth be told, she doesn't really care. This sometimes makes her seem like a sharp-tongued, critical b*tch. And her sarcasm doesn't really help. It's like she's asking for a fight (or maybe she is). It does, however, benefit in making some pretty witty comebacks.

"What the did you just say to me?"
Easily annoyed and easily angered, she's known for her fiery temper. If she's thrown over the edge, you know tables are gonna fly. She's quick to take offence, even if you didn't really mean to offend her. Even though she's quick to anger, she is also quick to calm down. You just need to survive her storm of fury is all. Those spared from her wrath are usually young children and people she really really cares for. 

"I'm just a er for pain"
Some people just like to see others suffer and Gramercy is one of them. Maybe it was from her abusive father, or the years of torture from the company, or it might just be in her blood, but Gramercy has a deep desire to harm others. Particularly those she deems annoying. It is the main motivation for her learning martial arts and participitating in illegal street fights. She takes joy in pounding her fist into her opponent's stomach and kicking them square in the jaw, taking their consciousness out of them. Most people might say that's not nice, but 'em it's just too damn fun.

"I'm just having a bit of fun"
Violence has been present in Gramercy's life since she can remember and it has now manifested inside of her. She very often uses physical force, sometimes even when the situation doesn't call for it. It's like there is a demon inside of her who can't help but be cruel. She has been strugling to keep it in check, but sometimes it just gets the better of her. Street fights actually keep her sane. She can be as violent as she wants, so that she can keep herself calmer in other times. Violence is like a drug to her; it makes her feel good, it makes her addicted, and it makes her want more. She's hot-headed, malicious, and violent. A big happy meal of "You wanna die?"

BACKGROUND :　
"Mommy, I got into a fight"
First born of Albert Lange and Lucy Liu, baby Gramercy was just like any other baby; she was tiny, cute, and loud. As she grew older, though, her parents noticed she wasn't like other children. She had an interest in fighting others, physically that is. Whether it was a boy or a girl, someone her size or bigger, she would take them down. After being expelled from school, Lucy decided to send Gramercy to her father who was a teacher in a martial arts center. Every day after school, since she was 7 years old, Gramercy would learn martial arts, from wushu, taekwondo, boxing, muay thai, and others. Those four were the ones that she had mastered. Her grandfather was actually able to discipline Gramercy quite a bit. She never fought in school again.

"Daddy stop!"
All was fine in Gramercy's house, that is until her father lost his job. Getting a new one proved to be difficult. Albert could not find employment and spiraled into drinking and gambling. Gramercy's family wasn't really what one might call well-off. The family couldn't afford Albert's new hobbies and the family became broke. Lucy was the sole source of income and this made Albert feel a sort of inferiority complex. He started beating Lucy and Gramercy. Of course, Gramercy tried to take him down at first, but that just meant he would hit her mother that much harder. Gramercy begged her mother to leave her father, but god knew why she wouldn't. This was a classic case of an abusive relationship. The family hid this fact from others out of shame. To protect her mother, Gramercy would take most of the punches her father threw. That was okay; she's used to it by now. Her situation at home led to Gramercy getting into fights again, but now she was careful not to do it at school.

"What's happening to me?!"
On the year of Gramercy's 12th birthday, two little miracles came to her household in the form of two beautiful twin boys named Charlie and Tommy. Gramercy poured all her heart out for those boys. She helped take care of them and they helped her feel grounded. Unfortunately, after only a couple of months, Gramercy was taken away from them; from her whole family, in fact. Albert had been drowning in gambling debt and stumbled upon a quick and illegal way out. Her father had sold Gramercy to a secret company. The men in black came and she tried to fight back, but lost when they injected a tranquilizer in her blood stream. Lucy was unable to help either, with Albert holding on to her tight. All she could do was cry as her little girl was taken by the men in black.

Gramercy was taken to an unknown place, but she guessed was still in the country because everyone in that place were mostly speaking German. There she came to learn that she had been sold to become the company's guinea pig. The experiments were mostly torturous and the most common method used was shocking and injecting some sort of chemical into her. At least in her small group of five. There were other groups, but she could not tell how many or if they had the same treatment. After some time, Gramercy started to show abilities of electrical manipulation. The scientist called her a success and they proceeded to the next step of training her into a weapon. Gramercy was one of two successes in her small group; the rest had died long ago. 

"I'll kill him!"
Two years had passed after Gramercy was taken from her home. She now had full control of her powers and the scientists had given her a bit of freedom for good behaviour. Though she was stil not allowed out of the premises and neither were the other experimentees. One day, unbeknownst to the company and it's workers, word spread throughout the experimentees of a plan to bust out of the place. Gramercy joined in and managed to convince the group to not only bust out of there, but to also destroy the whole place, as a message to the higher ups not to mess with them. On the day of the escape, all hell broke loose. The experimentees destroyed equipments and killed workers. Gramercy electrocuted every single machine she saw until it was up in flames. She fought with the guards and killed every single one she could find. What a rush! She could feel a euphoric rush running through her body as she punched and stabbed them. She even managed to kill all the scientists that tortured handled her. Every. Single. One.  When the whole place was up in flames, Gramercy stole a jeep and got the hell out of there. She didn't know if the others managed to escape, but she wasn't really keen on finding out. Gramercy now had only one person on her mind. Her father.

The company was somewhere in a secluded part of Germany. The jeep she stole managed to get her to a small city, where she sold it to a shady looking man. She used the money to get herself back to Berlin; back to her house. You should have seen the look on Albert's face when he saw her. It would've been funny for Gramercy had she not been so furious. She lunged at him, ready to tear him to pieces. Somewhere in the midle of their fight, Albert was able to grab a knife and pointed it at his wife's neck. Gramercy tried to take the knife and somewhere in the middle of the brawl, Albert accidentally stabbed Lucy in the stomach. That pushed Gramercy over the edge and she then incinerated her father with her power. Tears flowed down her face as she held the lifeless body of her mother. 

"Let's get out of here"
Gramercy eventually called the police and explained to them that her father had killed her mother and accidentally electrocuted himself. While waiting for the cops to come, she proceeded to the twins room. They were both hiding under the bed covers crying. God, she thought, they've gotten so big in the two years she's been gone.  She introduced herself, "Hi. I'm Gramercy. " One of them approached her and asked, "Are you our sister?" Tears started rolling down her face. Her mother had talked about her to the twins; she told them of the sister that was taken away. They were so young and now both of their parents were dead.

The police came and Gramercy, Charlie, and Tommy were brought to the hospital. The case was ruled out as a freak accident. Gramercy and the twins were given to the custody of their grandfather, who had taught her martial arts. He accepted them with open arms.

"This was fun"
Life with their grandfather was nice, even though they had to scrape for money. After two years, his health started to deteriorate and, with it, his martial arts school. Within a year it was closed due to the lack of bussiness. They sold the place for some money, but grandfather's medicines were expensive. Being so young and inexperienced, Gramercy couldn't find a steady job that could provide for their family. She started taking to the streets for some cash. ion was not something she was interested in doing, so she turned to stealing and, right up her alley, fighting. Grandpa Liu may be sick, but he was still able to help Gramercy become a master martial artist. Robbery, illegal fights, and assassinations were all means of getting some cash and it helped the family out quite a lot. Plus the thrill of it filled her body with joy. Now that's loving your job. She had gone under the alias Mercy and wore a costume to hide her identity.

When Gramercy was 18 years old, grandpa Liu succumed to his illness. They buried him next to Lucy in a nice cemetery. Gramercy was old enough now to become the legal guardian of her brothers. Her life of crime had become the family's main source of income. The family was now living quite well, though not what you would call rich. Gramercy was getting better and better at her "job", to the point where she didn't even have to use her power, so she slowly upped the stakes to get even more money. One day, on a job gone wrong, a 21 year old Gramercy had no choice but to use her power to get away from authorities. She knew that she was going to get caught, but before that could happen, she told the twins goodbye and asked an aunt of theirs, Lucy's sister, to take care of the boys. She told they boys that her job was illegal and it looked like she was going to jail. They cried, but obediently went with their aunt. Gramercy led the police on a wild goose chase before blowing up the target's house with her power, completing the mission. Now, at least, the money would be transferred and the twins could use it for themselves. She was caught at the site of her crime and brought in by authorities. "Well. It was fun while it lasted," Gramercy said with a smile as they threw her in a special vehicle. 

FAMILY :
Brothers — Tommy is playful, brave, and mischievous. Charlie is sweet, intelligent, and curious. These active twin boys are Gramercy's treasure. She loves them to death and there's nothing she wouldn't do for them. Being 12 years younger than her, she not only played the older sister figure, but also the mother figure. They don't really know the crimes their sister has done. They only know that her job was a dangerous one, from the bruises they saw that she would sometimes (though rarely) bring home.

Likes:
▸ Dessert — she loves sweets, especially cakes
▸ Pain — be it given to her or her giving it to other, she loves pain. Though she would prefer the latter. This is her biggest motivation for fighting
▸ Tea — flower teas especially (ex. rose tea, jasmine tea)
▸ Pointing out others' flaws — this can be considered constructive or just plain critical. She has a knack for seeing what others lack
▸ Cursing — the streets have given her a foul mouth, but she'll refrain from cursing in front of kids
Dislikes:
▸ Drunks — nothing against drinking itself, but those who don't know their limits are annoying and it reminds her of her *sshole father
▸ Annoyance — she's easily angered. From insults, loud annoying sounds, continuous pokes. etc.
▸ Swimming — she can swim pretty well. it's just that the water makes the electricity she generates difficult to control

▸ Cursing — but not in front of the kids! The streets gave her a foul mouth

▸ Training — mostly in the form of sparring. It helps her to be even more better than everyone else. Considers her fights in the streets as training
▸ Cooking — ever since her mother died, Gramercy has been the chef of the house

▸ Kid shows — she has extensive knowledge of today's kids shows and their characters. Her brothers would always hog the tv and watch their kids shows. Gramercy often had to watch it with them
▸ Surname change — after their parents died, Gramercy changed her's and her brother's surname to their mother's maiden name
▸ Everyone's bad — she believes, deep in her heart, that all human beings, in their core, are selfish horrible beings. It's just a matter of how far they've been pushed.

ABILITIES :
Electricity Manipulation: she can create, shape, and manipulate electricity. She is unsusceptible to electric shocks to an extremely high degree and is impervious to electrical burns. She can generate electricity from any part of her body, but high voltages are only able to emanate from her hands and feet. "Sparks are gonna fly"
▸ Electricity generation — able to generate and project electricity and use it for various attacks
▸ Shocking — able to release extreme electrical currents to destroy almost anything, cause extreme amounts of heat, and paralysis & death in living beings
▸ Paralysis inducement — able immobilize targets partially or completely, causing them to be left without movement or sensation and their bodies would become limb. This only works if Gramercy is touching the target and the effects wear off in a certain amount of time unless she keeps physically holding on to the target
▸ Electricity absorption — able to absorb electricity, while removing it from the source and into her body. Though she can absorb an extreme amount of electricity, there is a limit to what her body can hold. When she absorbs too much, her whole body turns completely into electricity and she wouldn't be able to turn back to human form until she disperses the energy. If she pushes herself to absorb even more, Gramercy would be shocked by her own power and most likely be knocked out
▸ Electricity mimicry — if she has enough charge in her body, Gramercy can transform herself to be made up of pure electrical energy with the shape of a human
▸ Electrokinetic combat — able to fuse electricity and physical combat, in turn increasing her offensive capabilities

Enhanced Durability: her ability to endure or withstand physical pain and damage is very high, more than the average human being. She is not, however, immune to pain and damages. At a great enough force she could be injured and/or knocked out. "That barely tickled"

Fighting: whether it's hand-to-hand or armed combat, Gramercy is good at fighting in general. She is strong, quick, and flexible. She is also a master of many martial arts. Her favorites are wushu, taekwondo, boxing, and muay thai. Gramercy fights mercilessly and would beat up her opponent to the brink of death or death itself. She takes pleasure not in the act of killing, but rather the fighting and pummeling of her adversaries. Her fights in the streets has taught her that some people fight dirty. The streets has taught her how to win a fight when you're empty handed and the other guy's got a blade in each hand and his friends with a gun and a crowbar. "It just adds more to the fun"
 

EXTRA :

▸ Water — a puddle or a body of water can help conduct her electricity, but when she is the one covered in it, it interferes with her powers. If she is submerged in water, it would be a lot harder for her to control the direction of her electricity and hit a certain target. She could end up just shocking everything in the water that is near her. 
▸ Recharge — when she releases or uses an extreme amount of electricity in a short period of time, Gramercy would need to absorb electrical energy from power source(s), which would be much faster, or rest herself so she can recharge the energy on her own 
▸ Brothers — they're the only close family she has left. Gramercy loves them very much and would do anything to protect them. Her life of crime started because she needed to provide for herself and her brothers. Though the thrill of it eventually became it's own motivation.

▸ "Your blokes put me in here, remember?" Gramercy stood up from the corner and approached the source of the voice. She smirked, "If it was because I blew up some rich guy's house or stealing or any of my assassionation jobs, I would've been sent to any other federal prison. But, since it looks like I'm in this dump, I must be a special snowflake."  [BANG!] She hits the door of her cell. "Why don't you come in here and I'll show you how special I am," She scowled.

▸ "Deserve? Depends on who you're asking." She turned around and slowly walked back to her corner. "If you asked my victims, they would obviously say no. They would even petition for my hanging. But if you asked me, I only did what I did because I had to. It's a dog eat dog world out there in case you haven't noticed, buddy." She sat back down in her corner. "And besides. I'm just a poor victim of human's cruelty." Her face frowned in anger.

do you work well with others who are like you? : 

▸ "What's in it for me?" She leaned on the wall behind her. "If they want to work with me, they better be able to keep up. I don't like babysitting on the job." She paused for a moment. "I don't like whiny b*tches either."

what do you think of the avengers? : 

▸ "They fight crime. They do good. They act like the hope for humanity. That's all a bunch of SH*T ACTS! I know they're only one bad day away from destroying the very thing they say they would protect." A smile creeped up on her face. "But you know... they look like fun playmates."

what is your greatest strength? weakness? : 

▸ "Weakness?" Gramercy stood from her place and walked to the middle of the room. She raised her voice, "I DON'T HAVE A ING WEAKNESS! But you people probably put one in your files, didn't you?" She crossed her arms in front of her chest. "What did you guys put in there? Flowers? Clowns?" She smirked, "I know one thing you did put in your little file about me." Her right arm extended in the direction of the door and a long streak of blue lightning emitted from her hand. She glared at the source of the voice, "Why don't you open up that door and I'll show you my real strength?"

▸ She tilted her head slightly to one side in confusion, "Are you seriously asking me that?" Gramercy walked to the door and put her hands on it. She smiled, "But what the hell. Come on... You can trust me." [BANG!] She hit the door again. "I ing dare you!"

I don't know if you're okay with cursing, so I kinda censored them... As for love interest another applicant maybe? Or a character you have maybe? Or none at all is okay.
