When it comes to fanfics, the most I've seen are Romance and Comedy. There are obviously different genres we can choose like horror, comedy, romance, fantasy and so forth. When I first started writing fanfics, the first one I wrote was a romantic-drama. Of course, it wasn't the best and it was my least favourite as a story, it was my first so I wouldn't expect much of that. As I keep writing I challenged myself when I began Murder Boy which was 'sort of' my first horror/thriller/psychological. I realised that I feel more comfortable writing dark themed stories.

I've always had a dark and artistic mind but always loved romcoms as movies. I was never into horror movies because they usually scare me and still do (especially zombie movies. I hate them so bad that I won't even read the zombie fanfics here). But sometimes I can tolerate a few horror movies like The Birds ( the soft-core type of horror) and Sweeny Todd. Reading Horror books gives me more excitement and I'm not as scared like when I'm watching the films.

I don't know, this is just a personal thing. I find horror stories more engaging than rom-com, but when I need some light in my darkness I'll read or write them.

By the way, my next fanfic (I should really stop making fanfics and finish my other ones asap) will be another BTS horror story. Even darker than Murder Boy, with literally almost two years in the making. But I will commence it after finishing Murder Boy. The title will be confirmed soon but the male lead will be BTS' V and the secondary male will be BTS' Jungkook.
