Army, plz could I have an answer?

so I love BTS

I wouldn't call myself a die-hard fan, but they produce good music and they're funny and talented and just good people, right?

only one of my friends is a kpop fan, and she is definitely a part of army, she loves bts and got7, but mostly bts, but the best thing about her is that I listen to lots of bts, and in return, she says 'I'll listen to some of ur groups ^^' so she goes listen to seventeen and exo (mostly seventeen cos she likes cute groups lmao) and then we just talk about kpop gossip no matter which group or artist we're talking about

however

no matter what video I go on, around 90% there will be at least ONE person who mentions bts

even when the video has nothing to do with bts

literally

another group

another company

another fandom

NOTHING to do with bts

now a lot of fandoms can be annoying (like, I'm an exo-l, and I find this fandom can be respresented as VERY annoying and obsessive more than anything) but bts fans take the cake when it comes to mentioning bts in every unrelated video possible

guys is there a reason for this?

I don't want to start a fight with you, I am geniunely curious

because

I know a lot of bts who aren't like this

but at the same time

I see a lot of fans who are like this

thank you >.<

bts has a lot of immature and young fans. the exo fandom was like this back in 2012/2013 (i remember, i was a fan back then). eventually another fandom will replace ARMYs as the annoying fandom.

I like BTS but I would never call myself an army although I love some of their music. I agree with you lots, no matter where i go, i see army's comments every single freaking place. I could see at Troye Sivan's Fools' OFFICIAL lyric video, lots of armies are commenting on RM & JK's cover, but heck, its troye sivan's video, not JK or RM'S.

an extra note, i love the fools cover of jk and rm seriously <3

The more popular a group gets, the more immature fans + haters that come along with it
And I might be wrong idk, but BTS seems to be appeal more fans of the younger generation so that might be why?

Dunno to be honest. I don't there's really a solid reason. I really miss those days when ARMYs were actually chill. It was actually one of the reasons why I got pulled into the fandom, because of how nice and respectful the fans were (danger and pre-danger era... Oh the giod old days :')). Times have changed though, but I think we have more mature fans than ones who are immature. It's just the obnoxious ones always have the attention, and the ones who are actually mature don't say anything because there's nothing worth saying unless it's calling out the immature fans. And these days there are a lot of anti-fans who make the fandom look worse by pretending to be a bts fan and posting annoying which makes us look even more disrespectful when it's not even real armys posting them. Makes us realise how much other fandoms hate us though lmao

@NomDae, Really! its even on Beyeonce's Lemonade? Like what is an army doing here? The first comment was "OMG PEOPLE SAVE ME!" and others replied "Bts Save me," or "I need your love before i fall, fall."

This is from MY point of view. Bts is only popular from their fans. I saw on NCT 127 'Firetruck', a comment. it said "OMG bts Fire and NCT truck? xD"...i was hecka annoyed. Bts music is okay, i mean the lyrics are good in some songs. This next comment is my opinion, I think BTS does not really deserve the popularity they have now. I only knew of them from a post of "Annoying Armies." I dont think all fans are like this, and many fans are constantly apologising for immature ones, while the immature armies keep on being at fault. I'm an EXO-L and so many armys are on MONSTER that I officially unfollow the Army fansites. I sorta like bts (Run, Dead Leaves, Young Forever, Save Me) but even if i was, I'd never calll myself an army.

Wow ! I was juat thinking this, the other day i was watching this British gamer YouTuber so it had absolutely nothing to do with kpop and in the comments someone said that the members of bts were hotter than this YouTuber in reply to a comment of someone saying this YouTuber was so hot and that started a wave of people all talking about bts. I thought it was rude like if i went to a bts video and went no the ninjas or the hidden leaf village from naruto are hotter like it's completely unrelated and you're just like wtf really
