✩ Cookie Monster - The other contestants call her this once they learn how horribly obsessed she is with cookies- Those're the only things she eats that breaks her diet. She keeps stashing them in the dorms during the competition, and keeps getting in trouble when the staff finds them. XD But should one of the girls eat them without her permission, she will get very upset.

✩ Let's be honest, the first thing people notice about Suji are her s- Sporting C-cups, they're not entirely the average size which is an A-cup. She works out a lot and diets well, so though underweight she has what she feels is her preferred body. She has slightly-toned abs that she works very hard to keep. She's well aware that her natural iness is her best ally in this competition, as well as her personality and innate cuteness. She can easily use both to her advantage, but normally just lets herself act however feels natural in the situation. Her hair is always kept long, going between her natural brown, a cherry wood brown, and brownish-blonde. She doesn't like to change things up too often. And, honestly, she's about to get nose surgery after the show, whether she makes it or not. She hates it, saying it looks weird. In the past she's gotten forehead injections, and a very minor double eyelid surgery. She's not ashamed of these in the slightest.

BACKGROUND:

Suji honestly lived a boring life from the time she was born to the time she was fifteen. She was a twin, rarer sure, but she and Sumi were simply like "normal siblings" anyhow. She grew up closely with her older cousin, Kibum, and loved school. She was known for being sly and doing things to benefit her, but not simply to be rude, so it was a behavior that was never corrected- Possibly a mistake. Her teachers loved her and most of her classmates tolerated her. She was normal, normal, normal. Her only special interests being Greek mythology and baseball, Geun Suji was just another girl living in an average town with an average life and not making anything of herself. She didn't even care, until her cousin, Kim Kibum, was working to debut in the boygroup SHINee. Suji watched him on TV and became enthralled with the KPOP culture. While her twin Sumi found her sudden addiction odd, she supported her sister- Even their parents did, hoping that is Suji debuted, she could give their nephew Kibum support. After all, his mother was in poor health and their grandmother was getting older.

Suji became a trainee as DSP Media not for her rapping, but vocals in 2007. She was a good mix of cute, y, and talented that made her the perfect idol- Her personality was the only problem. She was actually found to be a fantastic rapper, much better than a singer, and they focused her rapping from that point on. Her cousin debuted in 2008, giving Suji hope that she, too, could debut soon. However, she was disappointed when instead of debuting, she was asked to sing backup vocals. Eventually, though, it wasn't just backup vocals they had her singing...Eventually, Suji went to college and left DSP for a more promising company- Acube, now known as Plan A. She is currently pursuing a master's and quit her jobs to participate in RUSH. Kibum gives her his undying support with her dreams, as do her parents. However, her parents are now much older and live in a nursing home, so she doesn't see them very often. Suji sincerely hopes to win Rush.

A baby sister indeed. Sumi's so pretty like what?? She legit shined! I'm not drunk I swear-

Long story short, Sumi and Suji were close. Not the kind of twin-close everyone expected, but more like best friends close. They were smiliar in few, but important ways, but where they differed was just important. Sumi took her brightness too a loud, intensive manner whereas Suji preferred to be more lowkey. Sumi passed away two years ago because of pregnancy trauma after a car accident. She had broken up with her boyfriend shortly before she learned she was pregnant, and chose not to tell him since he had a promising career in America. However, at 34 weeks there was a car accident, and there was, honestly, no way to save Sumi. Suji was in the ER, their parents in England for a trip and on their way home, and finally the doctors said, "We're not really supposed to do this, but she's unconcious and will not be waking up. I hate to be blunt, but she's going to die, and we want your okay to deliver the baby premature via C-section. You may not be her parent, but you're her only immediate relative at this time. Any chance that your sister may live will become obsolete once we start to deliver. Technically we're supposed to deliver with the dying mother's consent, but this time? The choice is yours."

Suji new Sumi loved that baby more than anything, and so she gave the okay.

That okay was the start of the ruined relationship with her family.

The baby was a little boy, Geun Muyeol Suji named him, showing the doctors Sumi's diary that Geun Muyeol was indeed the name she wanted, and Suji did indeed call the baby's father, Lee Jongil, who came running. Sumi had broken up with him so he could follow his dreams, she didn't want to hold him back, but Suji couldn't take care of this baby, her parents wouldn't, and the father deserved to know. In the end, Suji was left with memories of her sister and the knowledge that she'd done right. If Sumi had been awake, she was certain she'd have wanted that C-section. Muyeol was in the NICU until he was nine months old, and his father moved to America with him. Suji rarely sees either of them, but does get constant updates and she's glad. Suji loves her sister still, of course she does, and goes through her days with the conviction that her sister lives a good life. She grieved for a short time, because she didn't need to be that sad. It wouldn't help anyone, and continued to live her life. Suji really, truly loves her sister.

So! Kibum and Suji grew up hella close, to be honest. They bonded at their grandmother's house and especially through her death two years ago. They're the kind that easily tease each other and have "fights" for months on end but were never really mad at each other. Kibum still supports Suji through her endeavors to become an idol, knowing how hard she has worked. Kibum is always the first to offer Suji a place to stay if her apartment is too far away to walk to- After all, she doesn't have a car or a lot of money. He really does hope she'll debut through Rush, because she deserves it.

Okay so it's kinda weird but Seoyun has an uncanny resemblance to Sumi. Yeah. But even so, these two are really close and Suji doesn't even notice their similarities anymore. Seoyun and Suji are happily married with soon-to-be eleven kids thanks to Lee Minyoung who Suji's determined to kidnap from the rest of her friends. Besides, Seoun already likes her. -Nods- The entirety of RUSH are going to be their children, if you're wondering. Suji is the one that brings in the income with her part-time job (Which she's quitting to participate in RUSH) and buys Seoyun a lot of gifts. XD They dote on their children well and are the perfect married couple, still apparently in their honeymoon phase.

Throughout Rush, Seoyun and Suji adopted Minyoung into their little fold. She is their lovely daughter, seriously. Suji is her Appa, I suppose?? Since she's the Yeobo and Seoyun's the Jagiya...-Shrug- They're pretty close but try to act like rivals on the show (And kind of fail) to make things more dramatic. Most people just think it's funny. Minyoung is a little cutie, in Suji's mind, and she seriously wants to give the kid everything, even if she doesn't admit it.

The Idol-To-Be

STAGE NAME: Suji (She just wanted to use her real name)
PERSONA: The Ocean Queen + On stage, Suji acts very much like a queen. She commands people's eyes to look at her and you want to respect her. She's much like the ocean, however, because she goes between cute and y, childish and mature. She changes like the sea drift.
TRAINEE YEARS: Eight years, four months (Five years and one month at DSP Media, three years and three months as Acube/Plan A Entertainment)
TRAINEE LIFE: At first training was pretty easy. Nothing was too hard- DSP was pretty relaxed, actually- And she learned a lot. Sure, the hours were long, but not bothersome and she didn't care about getting first place in school. She stayed just outside of the top ten and was satisfied with that. Suji was always placed well in the rap rankings ar DSP, even though she wasn't supposed to know, and was pretty above average rankings in siging. A group was set to debut without her, and though she wasn't quite happy, she supposed it was the whole time-status thing. It was shocking to her when, just a few months after starting her training, the company approached Suji and said, "We want you to record vocals for some of our artists. A soloist and two bands. They're too weak vocally." Uncomfortable but feeling the silent threat to her status as a trainee, she agreed. At first it was just backup vocals for soloist Sunha's albums- No big deal, right? But then her help for KARA came along. She recorded for their album, but not just backup vocals- Replacement vocals for members Gyuri and Hara, as well as more backups. The worst part was, while the other four members would be singing live while dancing, the company would actually bring her to the performances to sit in the back and sing their lines while the girls had their mics turned off. It was stressful, especially since she got no credit for anything- No, that would be scandalous. The same thing happened with Rainbow and she was feeling incredibly used. None of the girls thanked her nor did the staff or company. She got some other various deals but nothing that made her incredible money. As soon as her trainee contract was up, she was out despite the company begging her to stay. They wanted her to keep singing for them and she was beyond offended. Suji took a few months off of training- She focused on getting a part-time job at a boutique and started online college. It was a pretty tough time for her. Finally, she began auditioning for companies again and was accepted into Acube Entertainment. Shortly thereafter, her sister Sumi passed away and Suji had thoughts of quitting already, but with the help of her vocal trainer Suji got her life back on track. Acube was pretty tough on her compared to DSP, and she would go back to her apartment in tears from being so exhausted.

Maybe we'll be lucky enough to have a duet together during the competition! I want to work on my dancing, though- I'm a black hole thee, honestly. It's actually kind of embarassing! /laughs

WHY DID YOU choose PLAN A ENTERTAINMENT:

✩ Plan A was recommended to me after I left my previous company. Despite there being a number of groups that debuted, as well as soloists, my former company didn't want to debut me so I decided it was time for a change of pace. They let me go, and a close friend who worked at Plan A told me the company would be good for me, so I decided to try it out! I really do like it here. /smiles

Honestly, ice skating is my secondary passion to performing, and I've been getting a lot of rave reviews from former pros, so I know I can make a name for myself with that career. It's just a matter of starting, I should have given up being an idol a long time ago. /sheepish laugh However, I'm glad I didn't and I accept this is my last chance. I'll change career paths after if I'm eliminated for sure, what's the point of dreaming for an impossible career?

PERSONALITY:

✩ Lee Jinki is quite a silly person. With his "Onew sangtae," many thing it's a stage personality, but you can be assured it's not. He tells the weirdest jokes that probably only EunJung finds funny, but the expectant look on huis face makes everyone laugh anyway. Jinki is a naturally kind person. He's always thinking about things in a fair and just way, never letting social constructs get in the way. He's quite stubborn, though, and it's hard to get him to admit someone else is right. Jinki has a short temper, and though he can usually hide it, he can explode over the littlest of things. (Sorry copied it from an OLD app, just want it done--)

FIRST MEETING:

✩ Jinki and Suji met a good ten years ago, when she was fourteen and Jinki was seventeen. Both had visited a nearby park late at night, Suji after extra prep classes, Jinki after a training. The park was closed and the could easily get in trouble, but neither cared- The day had been more than stressful. Jinki had showed up first, sitting on one of the swings as he quietly went over the lyrics to the song his trainer has given him. He kept messing up the second run of the chorus for whatever reason, and was repeatedly scodled for it. Despite being one of their best trainees vocally at the moment, he was repeatedly mocked for his inability and it was embarassing, with the scoldings being in front of the ther trainees. Suji, on the other hand, had failed her third test in a row and was now being told she was kicked out of her prep class- Because that would go over well with her aunt. She went to her normal stress-relief park and was overjoyed to see another person there- He was a bit older than her, but not overly so and he had a kind expression, if not a bit hurt. She cheerfully made her way over and kneeled in front of him- Suji didn't quite expect for him to shout, flail, and ultimately fall off the swing. He stared at her from under his mop of hair and she silently looked back, intrigued and amused. Jinki wasn't prepared for such a young but pretty girl to be staring at him, much less expecting her to burst into laughter. She leaned back, nearly falling herself as laughing overtook her, body shaking. Her laughter was infectious and Jinki began to laugh at well, which definitely set off the nearby police. They same to talk to them, and, welll, Suji often got in trouble at that time of night. She looked in a panic at the boy she'd never met before, and his face was one of shock that morphed into determination. He got up, grabbed her hand, and bolted out of the park.

They hid in a 24-hour convenience store and, well, Suji was surprised to see the guy was someone she recognized- Her cousin trained with him, they even might debut together! She immedaitely started spewing about all the funny stories she'd heard about him and how amazing his voice was and how she'd always wanted to meet him and Jinki was one ball of confusion. When he timidly voiced said confusion, she immedaitely stopped and pouted, "Yah, Kibum Oppa didn't tell you about me? Rude! I'm Kibummie Oppa's cousin, Suji! It's nice to meet you!" . . . "Kibum's cousin?!" Yeah, he hadn't expected that. The younger had offhandedly mention he had twin cousins a few times, only saying one's name, Sumi. He'd never said the name of the other twin and it hadn't bothered him- Well, now he knew. They two sat in an awkward silence until Jinki offered to walk Suji home- It was dangerous for her to be out at night alone. She agreed and thus they walked home, this time exchanging pleasant conversations. When she got to the front door, it was yanked open and Kibum higged her tightly, scolding her for being out so late, what the hell was so important that she didn't even call? He was worried sick, brat! And then he hoticed his hyung and looked at the two like they'd grown another head each. Suji timidly explained the situation and Kibum thanked Jinki profusely before shoving Suji inside and telling Jinki to go home and go to bed, it was late. He left with a good night to the both of them, and then the door closed, Kibum turned around and raised a brow. Before he could speak, she raced to her and Sui's room, slammed the door, and went to bed. Kibum shook his head and went to sleep himself. That night Suji dreamed of Jinki.

LOVE STORY:

✩ Honestly, nothing very exciting happened. Suji got Jinki's number off of Kibum's phone and they got closer from there. Up until now, they've just been close friends- For years, nothing more. It wasn't until Jinki saw how hard Suji worked during Rush that he began to realize how amazing she is, how much she must have worked to get there. (If she debuts, their love story goes from there.)
