Stories for Female Biases

I posted a story last night about KARA's Youngji and it took a while for me to finish it because I had a hard time figuring out how to go about...it.

It's not a romance story, but it doesn't really read like a friendship story either? It's just like two people meeting for the first time and that's it. With a romance, the couple gets together at the end, but with friends, they just go on being friends or somehow not talking to each other after a while. It's ambiguous.

I want to write more stories about my favourite female Kpop groups though! I'm increasingly finding that it's more difficult than writing about my favourite male Kpop groups.

And I think I know why: male idols please both older and younger women's eyes while female idols cater more towards older men...Like Apink would have uncle fans but not aunty fans while BTS would have noona fans and not hyung fans, y'know?

Maybe I'm not explaining this correctly. So let me tell you guys an example of a story I would want to write, but can't figure out how to do it:

2NE1 is my favourite girl group but I don't think I could ever write CL or Bom with a younger male OC (because I wouldn't like it) or an older male OC (because that's kinda creepy, no offense to the older male population). Even someone their own age would be weird because I don't think they'd be compatible...I could write CL or Bom with another male celebrity, but I like creating new characters, and having more male OCs on this site is really appealing to me.

This goes for all the other female groups I like though: 4Minute, f(x), AOA, Brown Eyed Girls, Sistar, EXID, etc...I feel like they're all so mature that I would have to write a male OC that was older, and I'm not all too comfortable with that idea.

UGH, I don't even know if what my thought process was got across to y'all. Ah well. If you have any suggestions, comment below? It's just a test for me as an amateur writer I guess, wanting to write a male OC but not figuring out how. Also, would I even be able to? Whenever I read novels where male authors wrote from a female POV and vice versa, I didn't like them. So maybe it's not a good idea for me as a woman to write from a man's point of view...Hm.

Food for thought.

I understand what you try to say but have you ever thought of neutral characters? The neutral character is the character that is not male or female is anyone or your own thing. You can write like that and the male characters will be older just a little bit but mature like uncle or older adults. I think that should be in middle of all things. I hope you understand me and I understand you correctly.
