Writers block...is the worst

Ugh, I have the worse writers block right now, and I think it due to all the stress of everything changing around me.

Any advice on what can help me? I really want to get my stories rowling again -.- ;-;

I need motivation and a surge of some kind. But i feel all blank right now. i have thought up some new stories, but I really do not want to start anything else new. T-T

Treat yourself to something nice. Maybe a massage or a day spa...something relaxing and peaceful. De-stressing is VERY important at this point. You probably don't realize it, but you are stressing about the block as well...making it worse. Get a notebook and write down all of the story thoughts you get for later..in as much detail as you can. That way, you don't forget them. Try to think of other things and let the writing go. When you are ready, it will be there. Take care of other things that you need to. getting them on the Done list will help put the stress behind you. I also find that listening to soothing music and clearing my mind is helpful. Relax and start at the toes as you imagine every piece of your body go numb / disappear one by one. When one finally goes, move to the next in line. toes, feet, ankles, calves..etc. I often find that by the time I get to the waist and start on the lower abdomen, I am quite relaxed and feel much better. Concentrating your mind on something that banal seems to be extremely helpful. I even do it at work just sitting in a chair. Not QUITE meditation, but similar. I actually learned it in birthing classes as a way to relieve both physical and mental stress during pregnancy.

There is no advice other than to try to relieve some stress and create a good enviroment for yourself to write. You don't HAVE to write and you don't HAVE to finish ongoing projects. You're not owing anyone anything on AFF. Although most readers appreciate it when you would actually finish something. I know from myself as a reader I will only read/follow (nearly) finished stories.

If you can't destress by yourself you could always ask one of your readers (or one of your random friends or even strangers on AFF) if somebody volunteers to help you with your storylines. Sometimes when discussing your stories with other people also gives you the little push you needed to keep going. Perhaps they can even adjust your original ideas, so you can improve them. It often inspires you a lot.

Just lurked on your list of fanfics and I see you also got way too many unfinished things ongoing. I'd really try to remove some old or uninspiring fanfics you don't feel like writing anymore as well as it relieves some more stress. Personally I always keep the most popular ones, although if one of my post popular fics isn't inspiring me to write anymore at all I eventually end up deleting it as well. It isn't about the numbers of subscribers, comments and votes anyway. You should be able to look at your list of fics and be confident of what you made.

If you need me. Let me know. I'd love to help! Good luck.
