I cried at my university campus tour.
Today, I had my first official campus tour of the university that I am going to transfer to this Fall.
I had to wake up at 7am since it started at 9am. I don't drive freeway because Im a little and I have a ty car which scares me. So, I had my brothers girlfriend take me, also to show her where I am staying since NO ONE has really seen the campus. So, I'll explain. ASU (Arizona State Uni) has like 6 different campus' around AZ. West, Tempe aka Main, Polytechnic (Mesa), Lake Havasu, Downtown, and Thunderbird. I am going to Polytechnic. (Im going to ignore Thunderbird and Havasu since those are extremely new).
Polytechnic is a VERY small campus compared to Main. Pulling up the school info, Main campus has 50k students where Polytechnic has 4k... huge difference LOL. Overall, ASU has 70k students in between all the campuses.
Anyways,
So I told my brothers girlfriend that it will take AN HOUR drive to get there. She didn't believe me -____-. We left at 7:30 and got there at 8:45.
THIS PLACE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Granted it was an airforce base so military would have secluded it....
We find the admissions and sit down and get all prepared. Other people show up and we have a presentation and then the tour. The campus was amazing, there was so much vegetation, which is good since I am an Ecology major, but I could only imagine how amazing it will smell once it rains.
After the tour, we went back and watched a presentation and during it, I cried a bit. It was just a bunch of people saying how much they love the school. VERY SIMPLE. but I cried and I knew I would considering how bad I wanted to be here and now to finally be waiting to be accepted in a week, Im so stoked.
I got to look at my housing. I thought I was going to be dorming since thats what it said online, but it turns out that I will get a house with some people. The houses are really cute and there is like a small neighborhood where people stay and ITS JUST THE CUTEST. I'm so stoked, plus its right next to campus so Im ready for when I oversleep and need to get to class xDDD
I dunno guys..... Im so happy.
I finally did it.
Also, on another note. I went grocery shopping with my mom last night and I went to get some kimchi, I went back to my mom, I stepped in some mystery liquid and ing fell. My knee is purple and it hurts so bad to bend and touch it ;; I was so embarassed, but thankfully no one was around and I had to pretend like I didnt fall and called my mom over like "Look mom, come look" "What why?" "COME...LOOK" "Did you fall?" "MOM LOOK AT THE ING COFFEE SO I CAN GET UP!"
