「✕」 You can claim Yesol is many things, but dishonest is certainly not one of them. No matter what, there is always a 100% chance that Yesol says what she means and means what she says, regardless of it being hurtful or rude. She has been brought up with "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything", but has, rather gracefully she might add, chosen to ignore it completely and do whatever she wants. With her honesty comes also a sense of practicism, in which she doesn't believe in spending her time on speculations, dreams or theories, as opposed to working with what she can see, hear and touch. 

Since she was born, Yesol has been (perhaps too) confident, both in her beauty and her brains, and nothing can change that attitude. It does however make her come off as stuck-up and a know-it-all - both of which she most undoubtedly is, but has no intention of changing. If others have a problem with the way she's acting, it has to be their problem, and not hers. She knows what she's about, what she believes in and what she doesn't, and that's good enough for her. 

She likes to blame it on a pair of fabulously wealthy parents with a lot of money rolling around, but throughout her childhood she has thrown herself at various hobbies, including the oboe, drawing lessons, ballet and even (despite varying degrees of protest from both Yesol and her mother) archery. She has never stuck with one thing for more than a few years at most, but in everything she has done, she has surprised both family and tutors with her apparent skills - so much that her oboe teacher named her "the gifted child", and the name has kind of stuck with her ever since. Sometimes, when her parents or her brother catch her on an off day, they give her the standard lecture of "why haven't you done anything with your life? you had options", but as with the attitude issue, it isn't something she is going to change anytime soon. 

Now, many psychologists and sociology professors have tried figuring out what it is that makes the upperclass like it is, and so far all of them have pretty much come to the same conclusion: That the average heir or heiress acts out of spite of the system that has raised them and either turns out to be materialistic s with little to no empathy, or they end up completely switching lanes to become philanthropists or volunteer benfactors for starving children in the third world. 

Which one of these Yesol is heading towards, she doesn't know. But she does know that she isn't exactly the best rolemodel to ever walk the face of the earth, a fact she has accepted and actually somehow treasures. She's materialistic, and finds comfort in having expensive things (and having the money to gauge over expensive things), firmly believing that status best comes to show in what you own, wear and is seen in. Call it what you want, a millieu damage, bad upbringing or snobbery - there's a chance she'll agree with all three of them. 

Maybe the riches have brought this around, but with her sense of materialism comes also a terrible habit of judging people by the exterior rather than interior. She isn't very fond of talking about feelings and social justice - she's far too liberal for those kinds of conversations -, and she doesn't care why people dress or look like they do; point is, they do. And those who so obviously flag with the fact that they're not well off honestly can't blame her for looking down on them. 

Despite not being a very big people's person (some may call her unfriendly), she's surprisingly good at getting what she wants from practically everyone. She mostly uses it for petty arrangements like gossip or securing her social status on campus, but there's nothing more satisfactory than making weaker people go against their principles because they're blinded by her personality or her power. She doesn't know which is best, actually, but it does wonders for her already above average-sized ego.

↳ personality: If Yesol's a princess, there's absolutely no doubt that Youngsol is a prince. Girls (and boys) tend to be drawn to him for no other apparent reason than his kindness, and when all comes down to it, his title as 'Sweet DJ' probably isn't all undeserved. He is very different from his sister, not wanting anything to do with boring business meetings and politics, and the only reason Yesol's an heir in the first place is that Youngsol told his father he wanted to be a musician instead. But there's no hard feelings, Youngsol likes his family very much, even though he thinks it's a shame that his little sister doesn't have more friends. 
↳ interactions/relationship/other stuff: can be brief: It isn't much the two siblings see of each other; Youngsol fares in completely different waters than Yesol does, but it doesn't really matter since Yesol hears his voice on his stupid radio show every. Single. Day. No exceptions. Their contact in general is very scarce, usually if it's important (which means nothing short of the world ending) they text or call each other.

↳ how you met: Surprisingly enough, considering the fact that Yesol doesn't go out much, Soojung was the one who came to her one day. The younger claimed she'd seen her around campus a few times, and now she wanted to learn how to be... Well, how to be Yesol, and truth be told, Yesol isn't sure what made her agree to try and teach her. 
↳ personality: Soojung is, at best, very good at being very average and ordinary. She has half a million acquaintaces, but only a handful of really close friends, and she strives to reach the upper steps of the social ladder, to which she believes Yesol holds the key. She can be stubborn and sometimes a bit of a pest, but when all comes down to it, Yesol kind of likes having her around. But don't tell Soojung she said that. 
↳ interactions/relationship/other stuff: Despite Soojung's busy schedule, the two of them almost always manage to make it look like they're hanging out. If Soojung's at work, Yesol will 'coincidentally' show up to order coffee, and it has happened once or twice that the two of them have gone out to eat together. And while Yesol stubbornly holds onto the fact that they are just mentor and mentee, it's pretty obvious that she actually sees the younger as her friend - not a very close one, but at least a friend. 

Rival - Kim Ahyoung (Girl's Day) -  AY_YOUNG - 1992 - year 5, business administration - treasurer of the musical club, member of the photography club and the welcoming squad

↳ how you met: When Yesol first started at Himnae, a very well-meaning professor decided to pair all the new students up with someone a year older than them - you know, to make sure everybody gets settled properly with their chosen major and stuff, and Yesol ended up with Kim Ahyoung: The most shallow, irritating and sickly sweet girl who's - if it's possible - even more of a know-it-all than Yesol. Sometimes it helps Yesol to think that Ahyoung is, at least, a year older than her, which means she'll be gone before Yesol is done with her education, and that means that in her last year, she can at least get some peace. 
↳ personality: It actually pains her to admit it, but Ahyoung is so alike Yesol they could be the same person split into two bodies. Perhaps that's why they don't like each other very much. She's smart, stubborn, confident and manipulating, and sometimes it seems like Yesol is the only one who sees that - but hey, it takes a to know a , right? 
↳ interactions/relationship/other stuff: Yesol and Ahyoung had been 'buddies' for about a week before both of them proclaimed that they didn't like each other, and it has now come to the part where they're both fighting about being the best and being the ice queen of campus. Yesol likes to think she has a head start because she doesn't waste her times in all of the ridiculous clubs Ahyoung apparently is invested in, and it's no secret that she becomes extra smug when she's scored higher on something or presented something better than Ahyoung.

「✕」 Do I know it? Of course. I don't live under a rock. I'm a writer on Hello Stranger, so if anything, I'm more than familiar with the way the site works and operates. 

The funny thing about Hello Stranger is that nobody talks about it out in the open, but we're all pretty addicted to it. We like the animosity we get from it, even though certain people's usernames are too obvious for it to be any fun (cough Jackson cough). But yes, I like it. It's fun to see what all the peasants are up too these days

do you visit hello stranger often? was it ever helpful for you?

「✕」 I actually rarely read the blog posts, but that's mostly because it goes against my principles to read my own stuff, and I don't have the time to read all the others' small rants all the time - do you have any idea how many of them there are? 

I don't know if it has helped me directly in the sense of the word you're thinking of. Youngsol met some weird band guy on Hello Stranger once, and thanks to that guy, I don't have to put up with him as much. So in that sense of the word, yeah, it helps me. And yes, I won't be late to admit that posting blogs and getting response is satisfying.

「✕」 If Hello Stranger were to close, it would definitely feel like something would be missing - if not for anything else, then I surely would have a lot of spare time on my hands. It's no secret that I'm vary dedicated about what I write, and if Hello Stranger wasn't there for me to do it, I don't know where I would go

「✕」 Jackson is, in many ways, what a dog would be like it it was human - loyal to the bone, a fantastic friend (and really passionate about food), and for all of the time Yesol and Jackson have known each other, she hasn't seen him lose his temper even once. He always seems so tranquil and calm, as if the troules of the world doesn't matter to him, and all he cares about is being free and having fun. He's too much of a jokester for his own good, because he enjoys his fun more than he enjoys studying, and that's probably why his test results are as low as they are - although he holds onto the fact that they're not low, they're average, and average is more than good enough for him.

「✕」 At this point they probably both know they fancy each other, but they choose to tackle it very differently - Jackson thinks it's fun to joke about ("Aw, c'mon, you know you love me!"), and Yesol continuously keeps up the act of pretending Jackson doesn't exist ("I'm thinking about switching majors", "to what?", "I call it 'Ignoring Pesticides 101")

「✕」 When Yesol walked into the board room for Hello Stranger on the first day of her second year, she met Jackson Wang. She remembers the day because it was there, right in that moment, she met and acquaintaced the real life embodiment of everything she dislikes - he was too laid back, to casual, too playful about Hello Stranger and the responsibility that came along with writing for it, and it annoyed Yesol to no end. 

She made it pretty clear that she didn't like him (she may or may not have actually told him), but despite her efforts of showing her dislike and great annoyance, Jackson didn't seem to get the picture. Or maybe he did, and he just liked seeing her vexed (that's what she strongly suspects anyways). And as much as Yesol claimed (and still claims) she hates even looking at Jackson's face, it has become so much a part of her daily routine that she can't really imagine going through her day without yelling at him or telling him he's an idiot. 

She can't really pinpoint what it is that makes her so irritated all the time - well, except for the obvious - it's more like the very essence of Jackson is chemically opposite of her own, and they're made to clash from the creator's hand every time they meet. But no matter how much venom she directs at him, and no matter how many times she (not so kindly, she might add) tells him to get lost, he always comes back, and it's always always with a cheesy comment to go with it. 

It's annoying as hell.

Yesol: Do I look like I have a map? No, of course I don't. Why?

Jackson: You're so pretty I momentarily forgot where I was going
