1. Why was Asianfanfics created?

Jason's girlfriend who loved writing fanfiction was annoyed by the previous site she used, so he built her an entire website for herself which I think is so lovely omg :') Like I was actually moved when I read about his reason for creating this platform of sins fanfiction.


2. What is the exact date of AFF's anniversary?

Uh....I guess somewhere in the begining of April?


3. Our admin, Jason, wrote a fanfic: Zero Day Diaries. Which kpop artists are featured in this fic?

Hmm I think it was TVXQ. But I can be wrong. 





4. How long have you been on AFF for?

Since 2014.


5. What color was AFF's layout when you joined?

Green but when I joined a few days later the blue theme was introduced.

6. How did you find AFF?

All by myself. I was searching through Exo imagines and then I bumped here and now I am here.


7. How did you end up becoming a member? What made you want to become a member?

It was to be able to read subscriber only fics actually.

Ah this is hard. I don't remember the exact one but I guess it was this...nevermind it's too embarrasing.

Taelighted again <3 she was my first friend when I was only a baby in AFF and sure we still talk and she always makes me feel good about myself <3 ily

*laughing nervously* Well, 20 in total. 12 stories, only 4 complete (please kill me), 3 one shots and one series, and 4 YoonYul drafts (please actually kill me)

Like Yerim, 11/10. I legit come on everyday.


18. What is the main activity that you do on AFF?

Except blankly refreshing pages, there's occasional writing and failed attemtps at reading. T-T I honestly really want to finish up all my subscriptions but I'm such a fail.


19. How do you spend most of your karma points?

I used them once to change my username and that's all. I don't even know what to do with them.


20. How would you like to spend you karma points? (E.g. Kpop merchandise.)

If they can be converted into money or...? Idk man I'd use it to buy myself a ticket to Seoul.


21. Have you ever uploaded a video in the video gallery?

There was such a thing?


22. Have you entered the chatroom? How was it like for you?

23. What is your favourite feature of AFF?

Umm I'd say...messaging because I can write long messages to me friends. Yeah? And...upvoting. I wish there was unlimited upvoting so I would upvote my favorites everyday :') And the profile thing which is brighter than my future CV.


24. What is your least favourite feature of AFF? How can it be improved to make it better?

That reputation thing. Like what is it even? And the wall? I don't dislike it but I don't see any use either except ad spamming.


25. If you could introduce just one feature on AFF, what would it be and why?

I don't know ;_; I think the message notification. Like I have to refresh my page everytime to see if I got a reply. AND please do something about the haters. Like please do something to control them. AND I hate it how the fic goes down when someone reports, like atleast give some time for the author to expain or clear out any misunderstanding?


26. If you could customize the way AFF appears to you, what color would it be? You could just pick one color or a palette.

I guess a pastel color?


27. Who is/are your best friend(s) on AFF?

Lol this is a bit weird since my actual irl bestfriend is also on this website (and I goddamn hate you). I won't say any name I don't like this question in real life either tbh.


28. Who are the users you want to get to know better?

Taelighted ;A; and YifanForever ;A; and...Blehmeh and I'm not even friends with her yet ;A;


29. Are you grateful/owe something to someone on AFF? Who and why?

FishMeAnExo. She still means a lot to me and I...I still can't cope with the fact she has left. Her SeKai fics were my life and it was her fic that made me cry over a fiction for the first time. And she was an amazing human overall. I miss you.


30. Who are your AFF inspirations?

Umm...none in particular because I don't like everything someone writes. Sometimes I will like a fic some author wrote but I won't actually feel interested in something else she wrote so it's like that. But I sure ik everything Tae writes ;A;


31. If you could put a star on any of your fics/threads, which one would you pick?

None if I were judging my own fics lol :D But Idk if I happen to complete any I'd pick Romantic Dreams (since I worked my brain off on it's plot) or I only wanted to know you? Everything I write is trash pls.


32. What is/are your all time favourite storie(s)/thread(s)?

Running with wolves tho <3 (but did I ever tell you I still haven't completed reading it ;A;) I would like to scream from this point on because LETTERS TO YOU? THE APORIA OF LIFE? NEFARIOUS DESIRES? THE FAULTS IN BYUN BAEKHYUN?NINETEEN? PUT A NUMBER IN MY ASK BOX? AND WHY AM I SO OBSESSED WITH GAY FICTION?


33. Who is/are your all time favourite author/s?

FishMeAnExo, Taelighted, and BLEHMEH THO. And then there's itdoesnthurtme who writes all my favorite ships so ily <3 and how can I forget KillerGal <3


34. If you could put a star on another user's fics/threads, which one would you pick?

I still won't get why Nefarious Desires wasn't featured but it would definitely be it, and How to get your fanfic featured season 2 :D


35. If you could have any username you want, what would that be? (Did someone already take the username you wanted?)

Vefore Vickey I wanted to take Sinner or Whisper but both were taken :(
Anyway 'ChanLOL' and I have no idea how I came up with that and why do I find it so amusing.


36. If you would write a fanfic about your life in AFF, what would the title be?

'Extremely depressed and incredibly insane' or 'Broken, forever alone'. Whatever it will be it's going to sound super angst for sure.


37. What was the weirdest thing you encountered on the site?

The fics? Seriously some of them have these totally...impossible plots? And some are plain weird and sound very desperate. Like I saw an ad for this fic in which the girl wasn't pretty, wasn't smart, wasn't in need of a boy, also wasn't sad or anything, and basically she wasn't anything tbh and yet she somehow was caught in a complex situation and I'm like...I know building up typical characters is very common but atleast bother to give her some features? And those polls in which the authors ask which otp featuring their oc x idol is the readers most fav...??


38. What was the best thing that has happened to you on the site?

The fics again <3 And my friends <3 honorable mentions include LegendaryShipper and KillerGal <3 
And my readers too omg <3


39. Have your interests changed on AFF? If yes, in what way? (Eg. Change of OTP, bias group, AFF activity.)

Hmm no change in bias group check. No change in otp check. No change in activity either I'm still lazy. 


40. There are many communities now on AFF (such as the writing, designing, coding, applyfic, roleplay, reader communities). Is there a community that you aren't part of but want to try one time?

The designers tho :3 they're legit so talented sometimes I wish like recruiting them in top class graphic companies. I can make posters as of now so I have zero chance ;A;


41. What is the best thing AFF or being a member of AFF taught you?

In general, I can read the fics of my otp which is a blessing. And I might have become a better writer and thought about writing seriously (as in a perofession).


42. What is your greatest contribution to the site so far?

My niceness.


43. What are your current AFF goals?

Finish my fics T_T


44. If the AFF community decides to do a get-together, how should we spend it and where?

Since I live in a desert, I guess you should hold it where a majority of the authors as well as readers live? And hold like a tea party or something? Or a cosplay?


45. AFF is celebrating it's 7th year and is continuing to grow thanks to our admin, Jason. Do you have a message for him?

Yes. Man you're amazing <3 I honestly always wanted to tell you the way you built an entire website for your girlfriend moved me, like legit brought me to tears you know. And I'm sorry for her death as well :( And I'm sure she's like super proud of you right now :)
