jiin loves knowing it all. so she really appreciates education and learning. her eyes sparkles at the thought of learning something new. she feels accomplished everytime she successfully finished an experiment or mathematics work sheets. she feels a tad bit wiser whenever she completed a classic literature and did a review on it. don't even mention psychology to her, she will go nuts over it. she loves learnig human minds, behavior and attitude. her life idol is professor x. everything is a whole new world. she never understands why students hate learning, school she can understand, school is a vicious place where everything is being judged but learning is fun. she could be childlike while learning, she is curious about everything and there's a ton of questions in her mind. she gets super passionate about it too. she can go on for hours once she started. she appreciates it too when people questioned and debates intellectually with her because she knows she is right and she will win. she just doesnt like to have a talk with stupid people who doesnt even know their point because it was just a waste of her precious time. that, she hates as much as she hates professor umbridge and that is a lot.

jiin really hates it when things isn't in order or doesn't go her way. she likes to plan things and she expect everything to be the way it is supposed to be. she doesn't even like to put her playlist into shuffle mode, it itches when she doesnt know the order of the songs. she lives off knowing everything is in order. that her text book are arranged according to their size then in alphabetical order on the upper rack, her school supplies arranged neatly on the door her water bottle always on the lower west corner while her school council file was situated just nicely beside it, basically everything in their right own place. it is satisfying. due to that she hates spontaneity, surprises and she abhors last minute works to the core. it will all results into a huge pile of mess.   

  "oh ho, that will be the downfall of you, dear"

it is scary how she knew things so well. especially secrets that are ought to be kept hidden. it's not that she goes blabbering to everyone every dark secret that exists. she's not stupid, of course she uses it to her advantage. she usually uses it when one went too far with her. she feeds off of the horror painted on their faces after she blabs. and the drama that unfold afterwards is just entertaining to watch. jiin once let this huge secret out involving a teacher and a student just because she was bored and also she wanted to teach the teacher a lesson-it's a school for god sakes go take your somewhere else. and oh, it was such an interesting month. jiin is just naturally perceptive and her time in classes are actually used to observe the hell out of people rather than studying. it made her work to convince them to think the way she intended it to be easier when she know the things that triggeredd them. she's good in tricking people to only saw the bad of others. especially when she is planning the downfall of people that annoy her. she's not that evil, if you don't mess with her, she won't messes with you. she is mostly quiet because talking too much made hurts. and she thinks that people around her are not that smart thus not worth her time.

as much as jiin loves making fun of people in her head and laughs when someone did something embarassing, she is not that bystander and she does has a bit of mercy in her especially to those who are quiet and low in the social ranks. ones that are not due to her doings. when one fell into the pool she would actually help them up and gave them tissues, when one got bullied she would actually stop it. to her it was just basic courtesy and mannerism to do, not her trying to make new friends. she just finds it kind of appalling when others rather record an incident on their phone rather than helping the poor soul. but she does finds it annoying when they then cling onto her and keep saying their thanks. like once is already enough.

  "i believe i am actually a good friend"

jiin always kept her circle of friends small (that actually only consist of yixing and maybe some of the council members) because she never is one to start the conversation unless she finds someone interesting-which is rare and to be all friendly to those who has nothing in common with her is just unproductive. besides more friends mean more weak links. they are precious but not really necessary, especially during high school where everyone backstabs each other on daily basis. she believes that the more you have them the vulnerable you are so she pushes people away and keeps those inside her circle protected. she is actually meaner to her friends than to others just because she doesn't really have to act all nice. but yixing do appreciates her frankness and she appreciates his somehow psychopath self.   

  "i'm growing a beard here"

jiin relatively finishes her jobs easily and quickly so she became easily irritated when others are late and act like their patronus is the snail. she especially hates it when she's trying to obtain the school data from the slowpoke, it'll take ages just to find her file and baekhyun isn't any better, he knows nothing. like if there's no data she couldnt even start her report. she doesn't even buy books series that is still ongoing because she hates the waiting. she skips all the time too when she watches movies. 

 

background. 

the kang household was very well off. education are very important in the family so jiin was homeschooled in her early years, making her more advanced than kids her age. only after jiin profound fascination towards human minds that she requested to enroll during middle school just so she could have a bit of experiment with people around her. she did skip a grade though. she was actually qualified to higher education but then what's the point she even enrolled?

the kangs were relatively normal. mr kang wasn't really at home, busy making money and building his name. mrs kang was busy socialising with her peers, volunteering at many rescue teams. the son was abroad studying. the daughter was making her high school life a human experiment. same old same old. their relationships wasn't bad, they just weren't that close either, they were okay.

the chinese secretary was where jiin usually practise her chinese skills. their activities together also included making fun of other people by throwing chinese insult to them especially when there's a load of work to do. it's their way of releasing stress. they're always called the onex duo because they mostly capable of showing one expression; him dazed and her tired. they both also share the sadistic traits. ohoho most people think yixing was such an angel, a unicorn, how more wrong could they. to jiin, he could even passed for a serial killer.

jiin was raised to respect elders but she had always held the concept of mutual respect. seeing how the noona had no respect to the school law whatsoever and once vandalising right in front of jiin, jiin just couldn't take it anymore. screw respect. screw noona and her club. the war is on.

no matter how scary kyungsoo may looks, it will appear as cute and endearing to jiin. he is just so lovable. his wide eyes, his heart shaped lips and oh his squishy cheeks!

• jiin really enjoys father jokes. everytime junmyeon told one she's the only one who would crack before hiding her face between yixing shoulder.

at first, sehun was all expressionless, cold prince as others would say about him. but he was charming and jiin knew he knows it. he will always stand on the end side, away from people eyes. saying nothing only clenching his lips once in a while. but when jiin observes him deeper, she realizes he was actually just shy to strangers. his fingers were always dancing on his thigh, ocasionally running through his gorgeous black hair. kind of shocking with a face like that. she thought he would at least be flaunting around his greatness.

at first outing with his friends, which was a council member dinner after a day of brainstorming for an event, jiin saw more. he was more comfortable now, nudging and elbowing chanyeol all the time, whining in pain when chanyeol decided to take revenge, tsking at suho jokes, his sassiness could even rival baekhyun's. a spoil brat, jiin decided to place him under. since the hyungs really did spoil him to death. and he was being a brat.

after several dates, sehun finally warmed up. he will now jokes aorund, already know what was okay to joke about and never went too far. he would be showing more and more expressions especially hideous ones but it was all endearing and entertaining to jiin. he was also not ashamed anymore to get excited and let his lisp slipped out.

then, jiin never felt more comfortable with anyone, she could talk about anything and he would listen, she can go spazzing over her newest found for hours and he would be there,listening while running his fingers through her hair. jiin also found it tireless to hear sehun go on and on about dancing, about this cool troupe that's coming to town that he wanted her to come along with him so the can watch it together. and it felt nice. it felt like home.

 

how you met. 

sitting on her seat in the council room jiin was just passing through calculus equation in her mind when the door opened and suddenly all the xs were jumbled up in her mind. Her breath hitched and her heart started speeding up.

there's a breathing living usui takumi in front of her and she could only nod when he said hi to her. 

when yixing finally arrived taking the seat next to her, jiin was almost dead from hyperventilating. she quickly ushered him and started conversing in mandarin "xing, why you never told me about usui?!"

"what?"

"there's usui takumi in this room" using her head, jiin secretly signalled towards the boy playing on his phone.

"that's not usui, that's sehun. are you okay jiin?" yixing test her temperature by using his hand "you're burning up"

jiin slapped his hands away "it's not important, how am i supposed to work when there's a breathing manga character near me?!"

"you're very expressive today, jiin, i'm so proud of you." yixing pat her hair.

"not helping xing" jiin deadpanned, letting yixing play with her hair because it just felt nice.

"well if he's usui, you're nothing like misaki."

jiin gasped "you're rude"

jiin spent the whole meeting staringcasually looking at sehun.

 

it's a love story. 

ever since jiin saw sehun she was kind of obsessed over him. she scrutinized the hell out of him. he quickly became the object of one of her main experiment. she wanted to see if sehun would use his dashing good looks to his advantage. whether he would play with girls as the books usually potray. that and she was just treating her eyes for some eye candy. 

sehun, who finally caught up into this confronted her saying it was uncomfortable for him when she was practically drilling her eyes on him.

"oh sorry" toneless

"you didn't sound sorry" sehun's eye brows were furrowed and she itched whether or not to run her fingers over his forehead just so she could ease the wrinkle there.

"because i'm actually not. are you free this evening?" jiin decided not to. he'll probably pissed his pants if she did hat.

"w-what?" sehun blubbered

"let's go to the new bubble tea shop, on me" jiin smiled 

basically afterwards jiin always found a way to his heart; arcades, visiting him at the dance studio and he could never say no so he will just let her be. 

then, jiin got busy, the scientist were testing a new theory and she wouldn't miss the news for the world, and also the school reports are piling up due to the upcoming school events so she didnt visit him anymore, she didnt even glance at him in the hallways because she was busy talking to yixing. they were linking arms too.

sehun felt empty and everything was quiet. so he approached jiin one day and asked her out to eat spicy fried chicken.

jiin already had her life planned out and she wasnt slowing down for anything or in this case, anyone. sehun was not supposed to be in her life and she decided that he was just an obstacle. she never really believes that she would found anyone to settle down with. and really, it's just high school, no high school love ever last so she broke it up with sehun. that's the first time she ever felt a heartbreak and cried in her empty house but she believed she'll live through it. they made a pact, if they found each other eventually they were meant to be if not, at least they have pleasant high school memories to remember upon.

what are your expectations towards high school life? 

*sitting up staright, hands splayed on her thighs, eye contact locked, jiin started to talk using her confident tone*

nothing different just more stupid people than in middle school, i guess. no, not really guessing, i am sure there are more stupid people here. let us just hope there's a lot more interesting 'subjects'. 

what are your thoughts about the run club? 

they're a bunch of imbeciles. if they wanted to do their 'music' stuffs they should have gone to an art school, why bother here. not to mention their incorrigible grades, they put shame to kindergarteners. wasting their parents money for school fees. obnoxious, those people are and did i mention stupid?

why are you interested in joining the student council? 

like how a country will be doomed if nasty and corrupted government were leading it so is school. i refuse to be ordered around by noobs during my high school years. ha. besides, being in charge is so satisfying.
