The time I almost suffocated myself in the car
So, this actually happened to me today...
I took my friend Thao to do a ton of laundry at a laundromat since her apartment complex machines kept ripping her off. So, I drove to her apt and picked her up and drove another 5 miles away to the laundromat.
We stayed there about an hour and since we were next to a Food City, she wanted to stock up on meats.
When she said "Stock up" I was not preparing for a 90lb girl to buy 10 pounds of chicken LOL.
So, I didn't notice anything wrong.
We left and drove back to her apartment and I still didn't notice anything, but I noticed a strange smell.
When we pulled up to her apartment, we started to unload and then I REALLY smelt it. "God! What is that smell?? TROI OI IT SMELLS BAD!" "I don't know Chi, close your legs bahaha" //Should have smacked her LOL//
I helped take her 10 POUNDS OF CHICKEN upstairs her apartment and then I left. When I left, I noticed the smell in my car was heavier than it was before. I ignored it.
Driving down the street //In my 64...... SORRY//
Driving down the street, I started to feel a little whoozy from the smell. I begin to notice that my thermostat on my car started to reach H. I was like "Holy , my car is overheating!..... No..... doesnt it normally go to H when its fully warmed up? EHHH Oh well. I'm sure it's nothing"
I was only about 1 minute from my house and then when I pulled into my drive way. I parked my car and that is when I noticed THAT MY HOOD WAS SMOKING.
THE SMELL WAS COMING FROM MY ENGINE.
I quickly got out my car and I was freaking out that perhaps my car was going to explode //Grabbed my lucas icecream because you know... ice cream comes first// and called my from inside. She told me to come in and I was like "MAH CAR IS SMOKING! MOM! IT SMELLS BAD, I WAS BREATHING IT IN!"
"Well your vent for your AC are turned from outside to inside right? Not having it circling around?"
.... SHIET.
"Its a good thing you were near the house. That could have killed you from Carbon Monoxide poisoning if you stayed in there".
WELL THANK YOU BABY JESUS!
So now I have to check to see if there is water in my radiator tomorrow and possible go down to my brothers friends dads autoshop to have it fixed.
That means, I am going to have max a $200 bill if anything serious is going on. T.T
Just when things were going great. ;A; I dont have money to be fixing up my heap of junk right now. I have a university transfer I need to do which I need my car! I might need my car to drive to Cali for Kcon2016! I JUST OVERALL NEED MY CAR.
So yeah.... I almost suffocated myself.
