A friend of a friend of mine on AFF is going through a very dangerous stage of cancer. The cancer cells have already spread to Farhan's lungs, however the treatment needed for it is very exve. If you could donate, that would be of the greatest help. If you cant, help spread the word!

The boy shown above is Farhan, my classmate. He is dying of a rare soft tissue cancer called synovial sarcoma.  

He was in my algebra class for say about, 2-3 weeks before he stopped coming to class.

I really didn't know what happened to him until one of my friends mentioned his name, and my other friend suddenly got really grim. She told me that some kid named 'Farhan' had cancer and was dying.

As soon as I heard his name I was like, "Wait... That's the kid in my algebra class..." I wanted to look more into it, ask a friend or two about it because I really couldn't believe what I was hearing.

And until 14:00 (2 pm for those who don't use military time), I didn't find anything about it. My friend didn't want to say anything, and my other friend didn't know anything about it. Until 14:00, my friend showed me another friend's IG account with the GoFundMe page in her bio link.

Honestly, when I was reading Farhan's story I was trying so hard not to cry. He was such a nice guy... I couldn't imagine something as painful cancer coming down on him.

Sadly, the world just doesn't work that way. Pain comes down on everybody and everyone, no matter how nice or bad you are. 

If you read it, he got synovial sarcoma last year-ish. And if I recall correctly, my friend told me that he stopped coming to school last year, and he moved out of her apartment complex. I don't remember all that well, my memory is a bit clouded.

Back to me nearly crying, I was just in so much shock at the moment. My friend was already crying about it, and the people around us started to darken while they were reading about it off my friends phone. 

One of the worst parts is that his family is in debt due to this unfortunate event. The treatment he has to get is already expensive in itself, as well as dangerous. The cancer cells have spread throughout his body, his lungs to be more specific. 

And if you didn't know, YOU NEED THE LUNGS TO BREATHE. NO AIR MEANS NO BLOOD PUMPING THROUGHOUT YOUR BODY WHICH MEANS YOU DIE. Sorry if I'm being sarcastic/sassy/rude at any point, but this really is important to me.

I can't imagine going through something that painful. I mean, from what I read it occurs near the joints (neck, legs, arms, etc.), so he is practically immobile from what I can tell.

Just imagine going to sleep every night, wondering if you'll ever wake up the next day. For all he knows, he could be dead the next day.

That's just a horrible thought no one his age should be thinking. 

ANYWAYS, I ask of you guys, please spread his story. I might not be able to make any donations just yet (I have to get my mom's approval), but maybe some of you can.

Even if you can't donate, please spread his GoFundMe page. His story needs to be heard.

I don't know him very well, but I know for a fact someone like him shouldn't die young. Please go help him.
