With a clean-cut school uniform, no one could predict that bihwan is one of the student that would be spotted standing in the teacher office getting scold for sleeping in every single class except physical ed of course. "He may look like a bunny but the truth is he's a bat. a very lazy one." indeed he is. but not a lazy bat as to what he insist. bihwan is the type of student that didn't really bother to pay attention to his surrounding. beside being disinterest with almost every possible thing on the earth, bihwan also has this ability of making you feel impatient or like you want to smack his head for him to move faster. he isn't your straight A's student, but his result aren't that bad. and even if you wake him up to answer a question, the possibilty of him not knowing the answer is higher than know it. getting involve with class doesn't really fill his liking bar. so he choose to let what happen in school, happen in school. he doesn't really go out, hanging with his friends as he prefer to stay at home(or dorm) to rest around if he didn't have practice and start his work at night. That's probably, why most of his friends doesn't really bother to call him out because they know that he'll flatly decline it. his friends just conclude that if there's fun, there won't be bihwan anywhere near it. if you bait him with something then maybe it'll be a different story.
"Even if he refuse to hang out, we can't just leave this brat alone." bihwan might completely looks like an oblivious kid, but his sense of loyalty is unmatched. he cherish his friends especially his family. and if they ever in need of his help, he will if it possible spread his wings and flies to them right away. his principle is very simple, as long as you didn't betray him then he can pretty much put up you. even though he might easily get annoy or smack you in the forehead or head, that won't really change your friendship with him- just as long as you didn't betray him. having a deep affection toward his grandpa, bihwan was taught to never forget his manner toward female. he might throw some offensive words when he's being annoyed, but he'll still help you with carrying heavy books or reaching thing from high place if you ask or he sees it. he especially take a good care of older females that's around his grandma's age. because he love his grandma and so does the other grandma he meets. he might not seems like it but of course the small detail of him showing his concern and care didn't go unnoticed by the other.

Born in Seoul, bihwan supposed to be call a seoul person right? but in his case he was known more of a busan guy as he was send off along with his 3 years old little brother, jihwan to his grandparent when he turned 5. ever since that, he never step out of busan except for time when jinhwan wanted to visit seoul since all his kindergarden's buddies keep talking about how cool seoul is.
even though his parent is quite stable economically. his father thought that it's still not enough. having an acquisitive father isn't nice because bihwan's father spend like 90 percents of his time working. it doesn't matter that much for bihwan as he has his mother at home and he just didn't really care about it. but on his 5th birthday, he was surprised by waking up on seeing his mother packing up his and jihwan's clothes. being a little kid, bihwan actually thought there were going on holiday because it's his birthday. but when they're in the car, his mother broke out the news of him and jihwan will start living with their grandparent. but instead of crying like little jihwan, little bihwan opted to squeeze his grandpa's hand and stared at their parent with an emotion that almost as close as hatred. he knows they immigrated because his father been promoted and he'll handling the US branch. but what he didn't understand why would they leave he and jihwan. he wants to know why but his gut told him that he wouldn't like the answer. since then the great affection and love that he held toward his parent, even though he rarely saw his father, faded. the little bihwan who always follow his mother had gone completely and become to who he is now. thought for the two hwan's siblings, they replaced treated their grandparent as their parent instead.
while in busan, bihwan had grew up considerably as a well kid in front of his grandparent. he had a moderate grade considering that he didn't really spend much time on studying. bihwan tried to stay low during his middle school. but unfortunately for him, such thing didn't go like that since he somewhat made friends with few deliquents in his class. even though he didn't join them in skipping school or smoking. bihwan would still be the kid that got call into the teacher's office because of his habit in class. and even when they told him to be friend with better person. he would just ignored it and keep his circle of friends. the thought of going into high school together did occured to bihwan but right after he graduated, he lost his grandpa and the news had his parent flew back to busan. they did came back because grandpa. but another reason was that, their parent wanted to take back their sons but this time back at seoul since his father requested to be transfer back to korea. and both hwan declined right away by saying they'll stay with their grandma. thus, his father offered them, that their grandma will be living along too. upon knowing jihwan reluctantly agreed as he still somehow love and had affection toward their mother and since his grandma coming along. but bihwan being bihwan, he decided to enroll in a boarding school in busan which one of his friends decided to go to. he had talk with his grandma first and she told him to talk to his parent since they're back home. his mother even though she want to against it, since she just met them after years, agreed. that alone make bihwan thought he'll be studying in that school but little did he know, his father had planned into sending him into another boarding school.

+ grandma / Jeon Jiwon / 70 / the hwan's sibling's full time lover / bihwan is really close with his grandma. and since he's the closest mother figure to the sibling, grandma had been consider as a mother to them along with the late grandpa. bihwan listen well to her. she's very gentle, caring and understanding. to bihwan even though there's a lot of wrinkles on her face, she's the most beautiful person inside out he ever meet. she accepts her grandsons with an open arms with or without their flaw. the reason why bihwan didn't lose himself despite having deliquents friend. and when ask who is his mother, he'll answer Jeon Jiwon. and when someone ask the hwan's sibling if they have a lover or not, they'll immediately answer Jeon Jiwon.
+father / Han Kiyung / 45 / head manager of an automobile company / only goes by the father name but never had bihwan actually acknowledge him as father. he's a greedy, materialistic and very workaholic. he never spends much time with his family and even on weekend, he'll be lock up in his office, working. he work his hard until he achieve what he want. bihwan especially in a cold relationship with his father. to bihwan, he's only someone that provide financial to his grandparent back in busan or what bihwan assumed as a paid for taking care bihwan and jihwan. they barely see each other and bihwan just could care less about his existence especially after him knowing what he done.
+ mother / Jaegal Dahyun / 43 / housewife / suppose she is a mother that yearn for his sons' love and affection that she used to have before. she is gentle, obedient and caring. but bihwan is rather awkward with his own mother. he supposed to hate her but the affection he had toward her before and how desperate his mom seems to be when they live together again for his attention, had placed him in feeling pity toward his own mother. but he just can't forget the past...not yet. even though his little brother might warm up to her, bihwan just couldn't yet.
+ lil brother / Han Jihwan / 15 / student / they're in a tight brother relationship. while bihwan is more into the lazy side, jihwan is more into studious, forgiving and friendly kid. this kid is very obedient and sometime that thing irritated bihwan for being goody-two shoes. jihwan looks up into his brother and he relies on him a lot. and even though his brother being his brother, jihwan understand that it's how he is and he believe that that's how bihwan handle stuff going around it. bihwan trusts jihwan. thus when he was sent into the boarding, when jihwan want to tag along. bihwan pulled him aside and asked him to stay with their grandma, because bihwan doesn't really trust their parent especially that man.

why are you going to han academy?
when he hears the question from the intervierwer, bihwan couldn't help but to feel annoyed. "I was forced into going to this stu-" he manages to stop himself before any vulgar words fly out from his mouth, he did promised grandma not to create scene and be a good boy, "-this school." at least he tried. bihwan grits his teeth as he remembers the day when his father broke out the news that he had enrolled bihwan into han academy when he obviously told- well his mother about his desire.
he let out a long breath as scratches his non-itch jaw as he tried to calm himself as he mutters, "The man told me that I should find friends that has brighter future." hidden away from the interviewer, bihwan grins slightly as he mentally give the finger to that man.
how do you feel about living away from home, at a boarding school? what are you looking forward to most? he slouchs against the chair as his eyes stares at the pen that is hold by the interviewer, "I was glad but worried at the same time." he answers truthfully. getting no respond, he picks up it as a signal for him to eleborate about his answer. "Glad because my parent. Worried because my grandma and jihwan." he tries to answer vaguely which leave the interviewer to become curious. when the interviewer tries to pry more into the topic, bihwan quickly shut them down by saying it's irrelevant to the session. they don't need to know that he didn't want to live with the same house as his parent and they certainly don't need to know about his worries for his grandma and jihwan for living with those people.
his eyes starts to change into a dull gaze as he wonders when will this end. "I just want to graduate, get a job and get my family out from that house. That's it." by family he means his grandma and jihwan. but then again he thought that they don't need to know the details of it.
are you interested in joining any extracurricular clubs? he looks straight pass the interviewer's face that seem to make him bored as the time passes. "If there's a comic club then I might consider in joining it." though that he would pretty much prefer on sleeping more. but hey, it's not like they going to actually write his name into the club registeration right away...right?
what would you like to do in the future? he thinks to himself. is it okay for him to answer truthfully? about his dream of wanting to own a super mega large strawberries orchard. but to achieve that dream of his, he must have a lot of money first to buy the land first. and by that he must work first. bihwan never thought of a specific job that he specially want other than planting strawberry and live happily with grandma and jihwan. it tooks him quite a while to answer it, so he just blurts the same thing as he said before, "I want to graduate, get a job and get my family out from that place." bihwan nods to himself. well, he can worry about job later.
what do you think about romantic love? what is your experience with it? "Love is a nice feeling." a small smile graces his lips as he remembers about a certain person. "I dated few guys and girls. But I wouldn't really call that love." he rubs his suddenly itchy ear. "The person I'm dating since decade ago is love." he chuckles for the first time of the day. "Her name is Jeon Jiwon." he proudly mentions his grandma's name anyways even though the interviewer didn't asks about it, purposely leaving out the detail that Jeon Jiwon is actually his grandma. well, no one need to know that.
what is your "ideal type"? he straightens his back as he feels that the session going to end, getting ready to get up and leave. "My grandma said not to judge people by their appearance." he stuffs his hands in his pockets. "Someone that won't betray me, I guess. And can tolerate with me being me." the interviewer is about to dismiss him when he suddenly remembered something. "Oh- and I do not have toward glasses people." he states firmly; but we know he does.
