My Criss Angel Experience
I WAITED YEARS FOR THIS DAY TO COME.
I had always been the biggest fan of Criss Angel since I was a little kid. His magic skills and illusions drove me ing crazy because I didn't understand how the hell he did it.
Since I was in Vegas this weekend, my brother bought tickets as a early 22nd birthday present. We were 5th row from the stage and my seat happened to be next to the stairs. There was so much to look at, I didn't even know what to prepare myself for. I was trying not to fangirl, but then my anxiety kicked in and all I could think was "....what if he brings people on stage.... I am the closest to the stairs.." So that freaked me out.
While we were waiting, I was talking to my brothers gf sister and these weird people came and sat in the row in front of us. I figured it was normal for the freaks to come since its a magic show, we're in vegas, and we're in vegas LOL. I noticed they were foreigners by their accent and then they were being weird and another person came, a normal person, a GOOD LOOKING guy.... bless his soul... he talked to me by making a comment "You got a break?" because I was munching on a kitkat while I waited. GOD HE WAS CUTE.
Another weird person came and then I noticed they were wearing makeup and has small microphones connected to them, which gave me the impression that they were part of Criss' show; which ended up being true.
The show began and they ended up starting to act before Criss came, then I freaked out even more because now that I interacted with them, I am going to pass the out with they bring me up on stage to have fun; thank god it didn't happen to me but other people got up with them.
So, during the entire time that they were up there, there was this bunny head costume just lying in the middle of the stage not moving. Then when Criss was about to appear, the bunny rabbit head tilted up and start ING RUNNING ON ITS EARS. I was so confused. I was like, "What the is going on".
Criss came out from the fog and every one cheered.
He did a few simple magic tricks. I honestly don't remember much besides the few that left an impression on me.
I honestly made sure I stared the out of him so I could find at least ONE ING FLAW in his magic.
He did this dove trick which blew me the away. So, at the end of this dove trick after he made them come out of his hand, he threw this dove and then it went from this dove flying TO A ING WHITE RAG mid air and around the audience back to the stage, into a bird cage and as it entered the bird cage- it turned back into a dove and he pulled out the dove to prove it was real. I WAS MIND BLOWN, LIKE WHERED THE ING BIRD GO?! LIKE GUYS, THERE WAS NO WAY FOR THIS DOVE TO FLY INTO HIDING IN MIDAIR TO TURN INTO A RAG. I DONT UNDERSTAND.
Another trick he did which CONFUSED EVERYONE was we were all watching him talk to us for like 5 minutes and then his assistant throw this sheet over him and then suddenly he appeared like 9 rows back from where I was sitting. LIKE I WAS JUST WATCHING YOU TALK TO US, SO HOW THE ARE YOU SITTING 9 ROWS BACK FROM US?!
He did the same thing again in another trick, but ended up RIGHT NEXT TO ME. I saw something come up the stairs but I thought it was one of the people in costumes // Ill get to that in a moment// and when the light , he was next to me wearing a robe and a mask. I was shocked, my brother asked me "How did you not see him?" and I told him "I saw him! but I thought he was on stage and the thing next to me was a costume person!!"
Now the costume people...... Let me tell you..... I felt like I was in a ing dark Alice in Wonderland themed show. He had these ing scary rabbit people in the show that would crawl up the stairs. THEY SCARED THE OUT OF ME. His costume people he has around the show were ing freaky as .
Another trick he did, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE HE DID IT. I CANT EVEN MAKE AN ASSUMPTION ON HOW HE DID IT. So, his assistants were playing with this fake Criss Angel puppet doll for s and giggles so Criss could get the next stage prepared. So they put this doll in the middle of the stage, SO IT WASNT IN THE DARK OR ANYTHING, on a chair and then they draped a cloth over him and then within 5 seconds they took it off and Criss was sitting in it. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE HELL HE DID IT. There would have been NO WAY he could have crawled underneath it or anything.
At the end of the show, all the performers gathered around the front with Criss in the middle and bowed and then with a swift move of a sheet, they twirled it around Criss and he was ing gone. HE WAS IN FRONT OF THE STAGE AND GONE JUST LIKE THAT. I HONESTLY CANT WITH HIM.
The show was so ing cool. The audience kinda , but the show was so cool!!!!!! He is so good at what he does; its unbelieveable. I guess thats why his logo is BELIEVE and his saying of "Reality is just an illusion" because it really was.
The only thing that brought my mood down in the show was when he started talking about his donation box. He said all his money goes to children cancer research and then told us his 2 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia last October. That brought down my mood so bad, so I made sure I donated money.
But yeah, the show was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend you guys buy tickets next time you are in Vegas.
