Friends -.-"

I know you probably give no about what I write here but tI just need a place to let this all out.

I sometimes really hate my friends. I mean, they are sooo annoying, like.. I just stand there and think..: REALLy? REALLY NOW? Do you have to do that?

Since we came across Kpop and became fans, our journey went from Shinee through Super Junior, Got7 and others to BTS. I personally am very multi-fandomned(Lol is that even a word) but they are just so fixed on BTS and the only bands "acceptable" beside BTS are BigBang and iKon. I'm not against them liking BTS and stuff, but I hink they are making it too forcefully. All the time talking only about them, also when they see something round or so, they come like: OMG, JIMIN's BOOTYYYY~~~~ (BTS fans understand this very well) Also they imitate Jhope all the time with his "faceu" phrase and the "snakeu". Don't misunderstand, I don'T hate BTS at all. They are a bunch of talented and goodlooking boys. But my friends are annoying.

EVer since they realized that K-artists (very) often have eyeliner applied, they started to do that too. And very much. It can look good, but one of them even comes late to school like everyday. And I don't think that's only because sh's too lazy to get up.

Also, they started to by Merchandise, and that also a lot. I also want to buy some and I ordered something, but I don'T go all the time like: HEY; I HAVE A JIMIN HOODIE. OMG WE HAVE BTS PENCIL CASES: OMG I HAPE A RAPMON SHIRT. !!!"

Also they started to spend money on expensive Korean food, just to feel a bit more "asian". They spend the money they could spend on much better things than just on a bowl of Ramen from a Korean Restaurant.. and there's always this phrase: I don't have money... " Hmmm... I wonder where that money went, though..

In conclusion, they are not even interested in pther groups anymore, only when there's one good song like Taemin's Drip Drop OR Luhan's Excited, then they are open for somwthing else. Also, what anooys me the most is that I have subscribed to some BTS blogs on tumblr and they were posting gifs about BTS and so on. And when I told them about it they went like : DOn't pretend like you're an army, you know nothing of them! What you read in fanfics doesn't have anything to do with their reallife!" Of course I know that Fanfics don'T tell their biography but I learned about them on aff more than from what they told me. And I think people who don'T know this wonderfull world of aff just don't understand that.

OH wow, I wrote this much... If you lasted through all this then a big applause for you, because I really don'T think anyone will read this through...

Oh my god. That is really... god.
I have only like, 5 out of 12(?)friends who listen to Kpop and those five friends are so spread out in their bands. Tbh I'm the only person in my little Kpop group who's multifandom(VIXX, SHINee, BTS, B.A.P, BTOB, BIG BANG, and many more). BTS and BIG BANG are the two that bring us together but it never gets too serious to the point that they are buying all this merchandise, putting on eyeliner, or getting Asian food... That is too extreme(for me). At most, I have a BTS wallet and a GOT7 pencil pouch...

Anyways, I'm always up to talk if you want to! :)

I know that feeling. Although I have no friends who love kpop, I got my own cousins addicted to it. Some of them are teenagers, some are just kids (between the age of 6 to 15 years old).
Kpop was the only thing I could show them on my pc that would calm them down for a while. I think it is because of the colorful music videos that kids love to watch.
I just introduced my cousins to the kpop world through Super Junior, Girls Generation and Secret.
As soon as my cousins learned how to search for videos on youtube they came across groups I didn't know about. They became extremely addicted to BTS. I only know about them because my cousins are crazy in love with them.
Once they liked them I decided to give it a chance and listened to their songs and watched their videos. I'm proud to say I became an Army. But that came with a cost: although i like BTS and other groups, I still live my life normally. But my cousins became so addicted that they don't speak to anyone anymore. They lock themselves at home to watch BTS videos all day long. They don't communicate with anyone outside the fandom. Even when I try to convince them to go out with me, they always refuse because BTS is more important than their own family. It's sad.
One of my cousins almost became anorectic because she wants to lve up to korean beauty standards. She thinks having 40kg is beautiful...
I'm sorry for this long comment. I feel I needed tolet this out too. I totally undertand what you're going through, I really do.

I did read it. This is really sad for you, but they don´t seem like friends to me. Would you be alone if you put this friendships on hiatus for a while at least? I´m a multi-fandom myself, only Girl-Groups are not quite my style. This new one, "Brave Girls", seems to be something interesting. I don´t have many friends who are KPop fans, and I don´t mind at all. I don´t want to talk about KPop 24/7, and I really know something better to do with my money than buy merchandise things all the time. I rather have the same brands like my Timberland´s (they are worth every penny!), and I have a HBA hoodie, which I like very much.
I´m really so sorry for you, that your friends are such freaks. It and it hurts, but maybe you are far better off alone than with them. You will find new friends, and even if they are not KPop-fans, maybe you can show them a bit of this amazing world. Don´t be sad :-)

Omfg!!! Yes!!! I had a huge argument with my best friend about that!!!
The only thing I have that's Kpop related is a 2ne1 hoodie, a f(x) 4 walls sweatshirt (I love them so much that it's not healthy) and one pair of socks with Top's face on it and recently a pair of socks that my older sister got. It a anime picture of Kai on it.
I got the Top socks from a friend. I don't really were both socks much, and the hoodie and sweatshirt are so comfy so I wear those a lot.
My friend talks about others groups tho, but we got in a huge agrument when I had enough.
whenever I mentioned American songs and movies or anything non-Korean related she didn't know about them. All she knows is Korean food, Kpop, kdramas, Korean movies, Korean words, Korean news, Korean govenment system.
Besides Kpop we hardly talked anymore. It was really horrible. Like I still listen to Kpop but I still listen to other music. I don't even know if kpoppers even do that now :(
