am i a little too detailed?

Okay so for one of my stories that I am working on right now, it has over 10+ pages on Microsoft Word. Like seriously I have 10+ pages of 5k+ words and 120 paragraphs. I'm wondering if you guys think that it is just too much paragraphs, sentences, etc. and I should just tone it down. I see that a lot of people are like, "I hate fanfics with a lot of paragraphs here and there, especially the ones about smût, like just get to the point already!" and other's are saying, "Fanfics with a lot of details in them are my most favorited because they aren't too rushed or plain." The fanfic I'm working on has a Part A, Part B, and now I'm working on Part C. I don't want to combine all of the parts into one chapter, but then again it would work out better if it's like that. I'm feeling so confused right now... maybe dividing it into parts is a good idea.

It's good to be detailed, I don't like stories that is too short or rush and there isn't any link in it. I feel that detailed stories have a flow in it which allows the reader to understand what the whole story is about. If it's rush and short, you will only find it confusing as you wont be able to understand very well.

And also it depends on yourself, it's your story and how u wanted to write it out. You will have to go with the flow. It will shows the effort you've put in to write out. I'm sure that no matter how detailed your story is, there will still be readers who are willing to read and give you support. I think that most readers will prefer detailed story.

Personally, I like detailed fics. Sometimes I think its anticlimactic when a part of story is delivered rushed. Idk tho lol

Go for the flow. I'm one of those people that prefer detailed fics that flow slowly, because it feels more realistic, but sometimes a quick pace is needed to get the feel of a specific mood.
You cannot satisfy everyone so if it feels right for your fic, then it's the way it should be.
