My ultimate flaw (A poem)
You see; it's kind of like a flaw
When inspiring eyes look at me I flinch
Like I'm scared.
Because at first sight I am candy;
The more you learn the less I shine.
I am unhappy and sad and terribly alone;
And they think that I am easily approached.
I’m not though. My walls are so high;
I only stand by the windowsill
And then they get bored.
I never let them in.
So I'm always, always alone.
Sad and unhappy.
Like a curse;
Mom told me not to talk to strangers.
