LOVE ADVICE FROM MY OLDER BROTHER

I don't know who brought the topic but I had a serious talk with my older brother about love earlier.

I asked him what is it like to be really in love and he said that he can't actually can translate in it words but then after minutes of thinking he said me his own definition of how can you know if he or she's the one.

Your standard has been destroyed.

You don't care if he or she fart in front of you (XD i don't even know why he example that farting thing haha)

You don't care about his or her family status nor the burdens he or she carries.

You care for him or her.

And most of all.. .If you truly love that person you are willing to set him or her free.

 

 

What about you? What do you think? I want to hear something from you. I need it actually XD because I'll be a guest speaker in some even for Valentines day.. .I want to hear your thoughts about it and maybe I can learn something about this what we so called "love"

Actually, i interviewed a lot of people because me (and my friend's) reasearch topic was about DESCRIPTIVE LOVE. From what i have gathered, these are the most common ones:

- you're always thinking about him/her
- the first person you think of when you're sad or happy
- everything about that person is perfect (even if everyone says it's not)
- you want to be with that person 24/7 everyday
- his/her happiness is your happiness too (same for sadness)
- it's like being in cloud nine when your feelings are reciprocated
- being heartbroken is like being in hell (or something like that)

For me, some of those are true. but for some people, love can be willing to set someone free, but isn't love selfish? i'm not a selfish person but i wouldn't be so willing to let someone go tbh unless i was really hurting them

Your lover could be the one you hated the most but suddendy what you hated is now what you adore because he is yours,
Your lover is the one who gives you the strenght you didn't have to cope with problems,
Your lover has all that you didn't get and is all that you have been searching for. :D
