TO ALL UNDERRATED FICS AND UNDERRATED WRITERS

I'm working on a fan fiction right now with Monsta x as the main characters. At first I was hesitant to publish it here in AFF because I thought that it's just another fic that I come up and eventually get tired of and leave unfinished. But as I write more and more in the story even though I'm the one writing it I felt the excitement in the tips of my fingers, the urge to continue it and see what will happen next.

Then I decided to publish it here in AFF. I'll be honest. I was pretty confident that time that my fic will sell to the readers because the plot is not bad and I'm pretty confident with the my writing skills. I'm not boasting or anything I'm just saying the truth. But after posting 'HERO'  (the title of the story) for a couple of days I only had few subscribers, I waited for a week before updating but then there's just one subscriber at a day and it made me feel upset. I started to doubt my skills and even question my own plot if it's really good or is it that bad because that's the first time my fic got a cold shoulder from the other readers.

I was determined to not continue my story because it's not selling at all. But then one night after thinking deeply I decided to continue it even though it's not recieving merits that it deserve. I write because I love writing, I write because it's my passion, I write because it's my life, if I stop writing because of that reason then I'm not a real writer. A true writer writes even though he doesn't have a reader.

I'm just pretty disappointed that it's not recieving attention because of the fact that I used--let's be honest-- not that popular idol boy group and yes I'm talking about Monsta X. Compared to other groups I know they are still rookies and still has a lot to gain in the industry. *sigh.

Writers who has the same problem as I am! Let's not give up! We love writing and we don't just write just to gain affection from the readers, we write for ourselves as well. A true writer writes even though he doesn't have any readers!! Don't give up!! Continue to enhance your imagination :)

We're underrated because we chose unpopular idols but we're not underrate because of our plots ;) If they haven't read our fics then it's their loss, they just wasted a chance to read a good fic ;)

Haha.. .Fighting!!

Back in the day it was quite easy to get maybe 10 to 20 comments and a few subscribers. I think that's pretty fair for a nugu group this was around 2012-13. Monsta x gets good views now, but still I don't know why but people aren't responding to nugu's like they used to. I think around 2014 a big chunk of the fandom left. But still popular groups views should go down also. I wonder what it is.

I know the problem. my writing style is a little bit strange since I'm used to writing extremely long Mystery books. I also use a special story style BiasxReader. This is how it works: you have to fill in the gaps for example when your bais is jungkook you fill in the gaps and the story is about jungkook, but when your bias is bambam you just need to fill in gaps and the story is about bambam.

I really like my story but no one wants to read it. I do have one subscriber but that's one of my Internet friends. I just wish someone would read it and tell me what they think

Don't think too much about how many readers you have, because it doesn't mean much...I found amazing stories which had only a few subscribers and many stories which weren't interesting and written in a horrible way which had many. Keep writing and publishing, your efforts will be appreciated and you'll get more subscribers (I saw many of those stories whith only a few subscribers get more and more attenction in a couple of weeks, so fighting!) :)
