appearance — she has two tattoos: one on her left bicep (the pocketwatch represents the fact that time is constantly ticking away and the flower is to represent the beauty in life; it serves as a reminder that our time on the earth is short and we have to appreciate its beauty while we can) and one on her right forearm of an elephant playing a piano (because she loves elephants).

fashion style — eleanor's fashion is very eclectic. it ranges from relaxed, tomboy-chic to indie rock babe. Mot of the time, it could be described as "modern steampunk." She doesn't mind showing off her skin and will find ways to mesh quirky and cute with y (example). Other examples of her style are here and here

traits — cynical. kind-hearted. ebullient. spontaneous. folksy. outspoken. indecisive. jealous.

personality — eleanor can be described as cynical; she considers herself to generally have a genuine positive outlook on the world; however, she is more critical of the people and climate around her. she has a personal high standard of morality (people should be kind to each other and just, and everyone should be equal, and that people should not act in such a way that will hurt others knowingly) and when people contradict that morality, she tends to look at them more critically. Despite this, she is a kind-hearted person. She is kind to everyone unless they have crossed her and treated her negatively. to those people, she holds grudges and remembers every detail of how they wronged her. Generally, she is an ebullient person; she is very joyful and a genuinely happy person.

elenore is also an indecisive person. Going along with her spontaneity, she has difficulty at times making a decision; she will second guess herself frequently and will ask others for their input. Eleanor could also be considered a spontaneous person. She enjoys to do things from the seat of her pants; while she will still plan out events and plan things out, she prefers to just see where the wind will carry her and her spontaneity causes her to follow her heart and her emotions, rather than logic and facts. She is also a folksy person; she is very down-to-earth and she tries to be someone that everyone can relate to. Finally, eleanor is also an outspoken person; because of her spontaneity and because of how passionate she is, she has trouble holding in those emotions. She will often speak her mind, especially when she feels that something unjust occurs. She doesn't have a filter and often times will blurt out how she feels or what she thinks about a particular situation and her bluntness can hurt people who aren't used to it. elenore also has some issues of jealousy. She tries her hardest not to let her imagination get to her, but the only fights she and crush have gotten into have been over her becoming jealous of other girls that come onto him, especially when she can't come out and say that the two of them are a couple.

background — eleanor was born at the patrick henry army base in Germany. her father is a british nationale working for the US army; her mother is a south korean nurse, working in the hospital on the base to care for military personel and their families. The two met when elenore's father visited the hospital for a severe case of the flu. whilst she was taking care of him, the two fell in love and had little boy Oliver (Kihoon); a few years later, eleanor was born. The two children have english and korean names to honor both sides of their culture. The children grew up on the army base, but the family eventually relocated to Seoul when their father was given an assignment there to help train soldiers at the dmz.

eleanor had always grown up speaking English to her father and korean with her mother and a mix of german and english in her classes. when they moved to Korea, she attended an international school where the focus was on speaking english and doing assignments in english. So while she knows bits of each language, she is fluent in english and german and knows enough korean to converse with her mom and read and write the basics. She is still trying to improve on her korean so that she can honor that part of her heritage. she still makes mistakes with her korean quite often.

during high school, eleanor became popular on her various sns accounts for her looks; people found her wide eyes and gummy smile to be cute and charming, her mixed background to be...exotic. as her fanbase grew, small companies began calling on her to model for them. It seemed like overnight she had went from being a nobody to an internet sensation. She made her living being an ulzzang. After graduating high school, she attended Seoul University and majored in fashion and photography and continued to model for various clothing companies.

Well, he's not called grandpa for nothing. Sunggyu can be looked at as lazy and tired; when he is able to get off days, he likes to relax in the dorm with his laptop and just screw around online until he falls asleep. He doesn't much care for running and doesn't much care for strenuous physical activity outside of dancing. He will, however, make an exception to play basketball with his friends (and of course he is very competitive, so he always wants to win). He is also a sassy or cheeky person. Whether it is with friends, family, or fans, Sunggyu cannot seem to hide this part of his personality. His responses, though well intended, can come off quite sarcastic and blunt and to those who don't understand it, he could seem rude. However, it is just his humor (example). Sunggyu can be a little bit slow as well. It might take him a moment to get a joke or to realize a person's true intentions behind their words (i.e. if someone confesses to him, unless they are direct about it, he might not understand right away. Because of this, he is someone who is easily picked on, and is the number one person to be bullied (albeit playfully).

Sunggyu, underneath the sarcasm and laziness, is a kind-hearted person. When he cares about someone, he puts them above everything else: money, fame, popularity. Even though he would pretend to make a fuss like he didn't want to do it, he would do anything to help anyone and he always worries about those he loves (even though he tries to hide it). He is also a very ambitious person. When he wanted to become an idol, his parents told him they didn't approve and they wanted him to have a normal life; he continued to work hard toward his dream and didn't give up, even when it was hard and seemed like his efforts were for naught. Grandpa Gyu is also a shy person; he becomes easily embarrassed when he has to do skinship or fan-service and when he has to do challenges that involve talking to/greeting people by himself. (this video seems to represent Gyu pretty well c;)
 

relationship — Sunggyu and Eleanor are like fire and kindling. When they are around each other, their strong personalities become even stronger. They are both stubborn and they bicker (albeit playfully) and have a constant banter between them (It has been mentioned on brought up on broadcasts that Sunggyu seems to be mean to the girls that he likes-- which then leads people to bring up Eleanor because they fight like cats and dogs sometimes and Sunggyu tends to tease/mock her a lot). There is a running joke whenever they are around each other that they argue like a married couple (which then sparked a rumor that they "pulled an Eli" and got married in secret). They like each other, but neither of them has really realized that yet. They play a very strong game of cat-and-mouse and at times their "relationship" seems to be like tug-of-war, some instances where one is leaning towards the other, and others where Sunggyu lets go of the rope completely (see here when Eunji said her ideal type was Sunggyu in Infinite and he cooly said, "I'll consider your love confession," being very aloof like it was no big thing). When you think Sunggyu and Eleanor, think Jackson and Gina when they were on Weekly Idol together.
