[passionate, studious] Jun Yong is passionate in whatever he does and he makes sure he gets it things done within the deadline and sometimes even before it. he makes sure that everything is done well and to him, as long as it's done well, getting it wrong hardly mattered until his father started to abuse him. he tries to do his best and gives his all to make sure he doesn't fail. he is also very studious which is the reason why he would get high grades, sometimes being studious helps because he would listen and finish his homework during the class and would be able to practice dancing in the star club

( 1997 ) ah yes, on this fateful year, tae jun yong was born. originally he was an accident and his parents were not planning for a child. they were thinking if he should be aborted but decided not to since his paternal grandmother had been requesting for a child for years.
( 2012 ) even though he was born into a wealthy family and excelled in grades, he joined the star club because it was the only way he could release his stress. he learned to make friends with the other kids thanks to his status but decided to stay close to the star club for the fact that they were the only ones to accept him for who he was and at that time, his grandmother had already passed away, his mother was on the brink of death and his father would abuse him heavily and lock him in his room without giving him food at times.
( 2022 ) now, jun yong works as a professor at korea university, teaching mass communication. he lives together with his girlfriend, lee min ah, whom he met in star club and is a professer at yonsei university whom teaches music and liberal arts. he lives in an apartment with the amount of money he had earned and was left by his mother. his father eloped with a married woman and had disappeared from jun yong's life.

father : tae suk jae : (2012) 40 : suk jae was the abusive and strict father. jun yong would have to constantly lie to him, saying that he would be in school studying but instead be participating in his club (which his father has no idea about). when his father notices he goes down by a few marks or is just feeling horrible that day, he would lash out on jun yong and whip him. on occasions, he would have people beat his own son up. suk jae would also lock jun yong up in the room for periods of time depending on his mood. if he was in a good mood, he would let jun yong out for all three meals. if not, jun yong would only be given three slices of bread and 5 bottles of water and stay in his room the entire time. sometimes, jun yong would sneak out after dark to go to the convinience store to buy instant noodles and ddukbokki and his father would hardly find out.

friend/senior : park minhi : 16/26 : jun yong met minhi when he first joined the star club which was in his first year. her outgoing and pretty dramatic personality was what made him become friends with her. he used to follow her around in his first to second year to learn from her and annoy the frickity frack out of her. she would get very vulgar with him at times but he doesn't mind because he feels like outside that really vulgar appearance is a sweet innocent 5 year old who doesn't know swear words.

min ah's ex : lee won keun : 17 : when jun yong first met min ah, she was together with won keun who was very clingy and possessive over her. the only time jun yong could talk comfortably without won keun interrupting would be during club hours thanks to the fact that won keun was in the baek ho club. even though min ah came from star, according to won keun 'it didn't matter' until during the day of his graduation, he broke up with her. the two had never been on good terms and never will be. won keun also bullied jun yong a lot in highschool.

[strong] min ah is a very strong person. she can do things people can't really do like lift a sofa with both hands. just kidding, she can lift many tables and chairs all at once and has a very powerful kick.

[adventurous] min ah is a very adventurous person. she likes to (obviously) explore into different areas of the school and into different subjects. she does quite the dangerous stunts which has jun yong worry all the time. being adventurous allowed her to find all sorts of secrets and had her find out what she really liked to do in school (which was music and it was by far her best subject)
background : min ah was born on the 23rd of december. when she was two, her father ran away and she was brought up by her mother and grandparents. her grandparents were owners of a small restraunt which was popular in the neighbour hood they lived in. min ah would help out and learn from her grandparents. her mother and grandparents earned enough money to send her to jeguk high and min ha studied there, vowing to get a good grade and earn good money in the future for her mother.
INTERACTIONS : before they got into a relationship, jun yong was slightly distanced from her but would always be helping her and she would always be helping him. they were doing great. when jun yong realised he started to like her, he started to distance himself a lot more and avoided her until she broke up and he went to comfort her. ever since they got into a relationship, they've been helping out each other, holding hands on the occasion and he would send her home. she would also try to stop getting into a lot more trouble because she knows it would worry the frickity frack out of him. he gives her the occasional peck on the cheek and kiss on the forehead.

( 2012 ) in 2012, she was dating lee won keun who happened to be two years older than her and in the baekho club. they kept their relationship status quiet because of the rivalry between the two clubs. they broke up when he graduated and she went to jun yong for comfort because they had became very good friends as they were in the same class and happened to be in the same club. later on, they developed feelinsg for each other and decided to be together.
( 2022 ) even though it's been nearly ten years, they have yet to get married and were planning to earn enough money for a good wedding and invite their friends and families. min ah is now an liberal arts and music professor who lives with jun yong. they plan to have their wedding soon.
