playful, adventurous, clumsy : soo ae was very playful in her highschool days and was a very well known prankster. she would be climb up chairs and put glitter in the gym fan and parkour up her way to class if she was late because her seat was always near the window. she is adventurous because there were many occasions where she would venture into the forest right behind her school and come out with a few scratches here and there. she would also climb up to the school rooftop and do all sorts of gymnastics she learnt in america. however, sometimes, her clumsiness causes her plans to go wrong. there was an unfamous prank which was that she planned to scare the juniors for halloween, only for her to trip down the stairs. luckily for her, she wasn't hurt so badly and only suffered an injury on her knee and elbow.

resourceful, strong, impatient : soo ae is very resourceful. she would use things people would have never thought of using and find ways to solve questions that no one would have thought of. because she's resourceful, she usually find ways around obstacles easily and in different ways. she is strong and by strong, i mean very strong. she could carry a guy who was almost twice her weight and on occasion, she breaks her pencils. she had to buy at least 50 of them each year. she's strong physically but not very strong mentally. she is also impatient. she can wait, just not for too long. she can only wait for as long as 3 hours. there was once where a download took nearly 6 hours and within the 6 hours, soo ae had broken 35 pencil and completely lost her cool. she became very irritable within those remaining 3 hours of download. however, if you tell her it's going to take longer than 3 hours to wait and she should do something else, she would (obviously) do something else instead of sitting there all day.
youthful and quirky : a very optimistic girl, soo ae tries to act like a mature lady only to have that be crushed because she is always playful. she always keeps a smile on her face even if she's sad. she acts as youthful as she can. along with her youthfulness, comes along the quirkiness. she has many quirks and one of them is that she always wears mismatched socks. her friends find it so weird but in a good way.

 

( background ) : clara lee soo ae was born to adam lee jong soo and kim hyo jin in Sharp memorial hospital in san diego. soo ae was a premature baby and a few months later, kim hyo jin died of lung cancer. soo ae grew up in san diego, using the name clara and attended jefferson elementary school. at home, she had a tutor that taught her both english and korean. her father thought soo ae should be involved in something and signed her up for gymnastic classes with he brought her to every friday. after fifth grade, her father thought it was time to move back to korea. she was home-schooled for sixth grade. in seventh grade, she went to middle school and met her best friend, lee ahn young there. soo ae has always been a playful child and together with ahn young, they were unseparable, unless they had to go to the toilet and go home. with her father always at work, she would go to ahn young's house to study and play afterwards. she would show ahn young her gymnastic moves she had learnt and teach english to ahn young occasionally. at the age of thirteen, ahn young showed soo ae kpop and got her into it. she got obsessed with super junior, ss501, tvxq and later on, even more. no matter how obsessed she was, she studied well and was a top scorer in her school twice, even becoming a famous prankster upon graduating highschool, soo ae got a job in a cafe as a barista and would occasionally perform at the cafe on sundays with her ukelele. in 2012, she was introduced to vixx and became absolutely obsessed with them. the reason why she became obsessed with them almost immediately was because her father had recently passed away and she could hardly get over it. she got most of the things her father owned and was able to sell some stuff to earn a little bit more money to tidy up the apartment a little. ahn young moved in with her and they both split the bills.

• best friend/family / lee ahn young / 21 / soo ae's close friend since middle school. they are the best of friends and they are pretty much like sisters. they tell almost everything to each other and occasionally fight but make up. ahn young is the one usually cooking and soo ae is usually the one cleaning up. they do many things together and sometimes when they have absolutely nothing to do, they sit upside down on the couch and talk about their lives.

( How and when did you get into KPop? ) : "since I was thirteen? i was introduced to it by a fellow classmate and beloved friend. i just sort of... got into it? i'm not so sure. in all honesty, i forgot how my life went before i got into kpop. i'm not sure, it feels like i've been into it since i was born and it scares me sometimes."
 

( How long have you been into "vixx", especially "n"? ) : "ever since they debuted. i found him different and he seemed like such a nice person. i guess this would be a chance to find out properly!"
 

( how did you find out about KBS' online raffle? Did you read it from their website, via friend or from an advertisement? ) : "it was through a friend. she wanted to join too but she didn't get chosen, sadly."
 

( What did you feel when a KBS representative called you to tell you that you were one of the five lucky winners of the raffle? ) : "i was shocked, definitely. i was like 'oh my goDS. holy lord of strawberries' it's pretty shocking considering i'm not such a lucky person"

( How was your first meeting with "n"? ) : he was very nice. i mean, i was freaking out on the inside but i looked totally calm on the outside. we had a nice and slow conversation which calmed me down a little and we got to know a little more about each other. it was quite nice talking to someone.
 

( as you continue to get to know your idol in person, did you feel disappointed at some point where he or she was not that perfect man/woman that you expected to be? Why? ) : i didn't feel disappointed. it didn't really matter if he was the perfect man i expected. every one has flaws and they can't possibly always live up to everybody's expectations. i will accept him for who he is.
 

( what will you do after the 100 days, after coming back to your home country and your old life, that you find out that you completely fell for him or her? As the member of the opposite , not only as a celebrity crush, that is. ) : me? i mean, i've already fallen in love with him since i found out about vixx but now, it's a different kind of feeling. it's not so much of a fan love but more of a friend kind of affection. we can continue to be friends but as for a relationship? i don't think i'm ready for that yet. maybe later on in life, we'll meet again and fall in love. now? i'll just wait until the time is right.
