BACK UP FACE CLAIM — yeeun APPEARANCE — joohae is 161cm, 45kg. she's considered light for her height. since she's mute, she tries to make up to that by looking her best. she strictly sticks to 3 meals a day and wouldn't eat more than a bowl each meal. she have a sweet smile that would be able to make anyone forget about her disability. she's also blessed with a pair of big doe eyes, double eyelids and nice, pale skin.

STYLE — she is usually in her school uniform. otherwise, she would be wearing a dress. normally in pastel colours or light colours, like pink or white. she would also sometimes add in tiny accessories like hairband or hairclip. her long hair is usually let down, rarely tied up unless she's doing her homework or working (when her hair would get in the way).

PERSONALITY —
joohae is a very sweet and lovely girl at first look. she have that kind of innocent face and smile that would awaken your protective instinct. she knows that, and she put it into good use. everytime she get into trouble, she would shamelessly flash her big doe eyes, making use of the fact that she looks pure and innocent to get away with close to no punishment at all. if her puppy eyes is not enough, she would break out in tears, apologising for whatever she did wrong, saying that she's extremely sorry and guilty for what she did. this would somehow make the one scolding/blaming her feel guilty instead. joohae is also very gentle and feminine, resulting in her giving off the weak and fragile feeling. it might seem like she gets tired easily and needs to rest every now and then. she treats everything with care and never uses too much strength on anything. all of these traits, adding in the fact that she's mute, allow her to act like she's unable to do a lot of things herself. joohae is also very polite to everyone, further giving off that sweet and lovely feel. she's likable to mostly everyone, especially to those older or those filled with motherly/fatherly instincts. people tend to volunteer to take care of her without her having to ask for it. she make use of all these points to get what she wants, manipulating people into helping her. 

joohae, unlike her sweet and innocent image, is actually a deceitful and cunning girl. behind her smile, hides a sly fox, silently waiting for her next prey. she's a liar, and a very good one. she can lie to someone without even blinking an eye. people usually trusts her, and she would always be the last suspect to any bad things done, but in reality, she's not very honest to begin with, which is also why she's manipulative. she would get people to do things her way or help her do things that she doesn't want to do herself. when things don't go her way, she would get slightly offended. she doesn't like it when someone is unaffected by her manipulative ways. if she can't get you to do what she wants, you're crossed off her friends list. she only consider those who are useful to her as her friends. but even if you're not her "friend", she wouldn't say it to your face, or act it out for the whole world to see, she still have to keep her sweet, innocent, lovely, kind and nice facade.

BACKGROUND — joohae was born mute to a lovely couple in soeul. her parents were just normal office workers, with normal amount of income. despite joohae's disability, the couple still loves her, sometimes maybe even more than what normal parents would give their children. they gave her everything they could, and tried to not make her feel different from the other children. they spent all their money and effort on joohae, wanting her to grow up happily just like any other children. the couple's original plan was to have at least 3 children, so that they would have a seemingly big, but not too big household. they wanted their children to grow up with a playmate, and not spend their childhood alone at home. however, after joohae came out from her mother's womb as mute, the couple was worried that the disability would affect the next child too. which was why in the end, they settled with just one baby. they would bring her out to play whenever they could, spending all the time they have off work, with joohae.

joohae used to wear shoes with bells, and had a tag hanging on her neck. this was to prevent her from getting lost. the bells followed her till she was 10. she was sent to a normal school, and had some real friends. but that didn't stop the school bullies from picking on her. joohae tried to ignore them, but it was slowly getting to her that she's not normal. she finally stopped wearing the bell when she was too ashamed to go to school with it. her parents were worried, but they decided to follow her choice. her results were passable and her school life was pretty much like any other kid's, except for the fact that she's mute. people called her names and at times, but it was not too extreme, she's not like an outcast in school or something. joohae realised that people tend to be nice to her, especially teachers and elders, when she entered middle school. this was how she began manipulating people into doing things for her.

when she was 13, one of the popular girls in her class brought a new keychain to class one day, boasting about how it's a limited edition. joohae got jealous and wanted something special too, but her parents weren't able to get her what she wanted. they did bought her a pretty keychain too, but it was nowhere as good as the one her classmate had. she got angry and thew the keychain back at her parents before slamming her bedroom door. the next day in school, during lunch break, she saw the keychain lying on her classmates desk. in a moment of folly, she decided to steal the keychain. she made sure no one was looking before slipping the keychain into her pocket. she never got caught. the teacher did a bag search on everyone, but joohae was smart enough to hide it in the toilet cubicle before lunchbreak was over. this incident could be lablled as what changed her life. she started stealing other small items from her classmates whenever she saw something she like. and soon after, she moved on to stationaries from the book store, then on to things that are much more expensive. she became so good at it that she never really got handed over to the police or have her parents called up. even when she did get caught stealing once in a blue moon, she would flash her puppy eyes and cry, promising that she would never do it again. she never stopped though, she just stopped going to the places where she got caught.

PRESENT — she still lives with her parents in a three room flat in soeul. she have her own room, but she would have to let the bed out if her grandmother come to visit. she hides all her stolen things in a secret compartment in her wardrobe. nobody in her family knows that she has been stealing things. they're still pretty happy she grew up into a pretty normal child, with friends in school and passable grades. they didn't expect too much from her, they just wanted her to be happy and healthy. she would go to school in the morning after having breakfast with her parents, have lunch with her friends, and do her homework in the library whenever she can. after school, she would go aound the neighbourhood to visit different stores, sometimes shopping, sometimes window shopping, sometimes shoplifting. other times, she would be at the cafe doing her job. after that, she would go back home, have dinner, take a bath, do her homework, before going to bed. a pretty normal life for a child her age. (except for the shoplifting part)

joohae will visit the community centre once a week with her mother during the weekends to help out. her mother wanted to do some volunteer work because she thought if she does enough good deeds, who knows, a miracle might happen and joohae will be able to speak. her mother has been doing this for 10 years now, and joohae started joining her mother 4 years ago. she goes to the hospital to check her vocal chords every 6 months, but so far, there has been no improvement. recently, joohae's father just got fired from his company due to insufficient funds. her mother has to work twice as hard to feed the family, but she still visits the community center weekly. joohae's father is currently trying hard to find a new job, but it's hard at his age. therefore joohae was made to look for a part time job to help support the family before joohae's father manages to find one.

— LOVE IS IN THE AIR.
FIRST MEETING — they first met when yoongi was on his way to work. he passed by this stationary store and saw a man screaming at this poor girl. she was crying desperately with her head down. he would have just walked away, but since he was in a particular good mood that day (somebody just bought his composition), he decided to help the girl. he knew from the shoutings of the man that the girl just attempted to steal a hairband. since a hairband wasn't worth much, yoongi offered to pay for her. the man accepted his money and sent the girl away. joohae quickly thanked him with a few ninety degree bows. and the next time they met, when they introduced each other, was when she reported to work in the cafe. yoongi was shocked to see her again, and joohae was worried that he might tell seokjin that she stole something before. with a bad record, she might not be able to work in the cafe, but luckily for her, yoongi did not spill her secrets to the boss. she would do anything to try and make sure yoongi keep his mouth shut. she came up with a lie that she actually did not steal the hairband, someone must have placed it into her bag. since she looked so sincere with her big doe eyes, yoongi believed her.

INTERACTIONS — at first they can only converse in yes or no questions, with yoongi asking and joohae nodding or shaking her head. whenever joohae tries to convey something, it'll be like they're playing charades. it soon came a time where yoongi got frustrated with conversing that way, so he brought her a tiny notebook to write down whatever she wants to say. since yoongi will be lazing in the cubicle half of the time, joohae is the one that do most of the cleaning. but she doesn't mind since cleaning was already part of her daily life. plus the fact that she doesn't have anything to do after school anyway, unless she goes shopping. the fact that seokjin pays her more than yoongi also gives her a sense of happiness and sastifaction. it takes her a longer time to clean the place than if yoongi did it though, since she finds it hard to even carry the bucket of water to mop the floor. yoongi will sometimes help her with it, and seokjin will be amused with how yoongi is appearing a lot more outside the toilet than before. when clearing the larger tables, she would have to walk a few times to and fro because she can't carry the whole stack of bowls, plates and cups at a single time. this is when taehyung will help out and when yoongi finds out, he will quickly shoo taehyung away and do the cleaning himself. at first, yoongi will help her out because he find it annoying to watch her struggle with the things he can do easily, but as time passes by, they got closer and yoongi would take care of her like a younger sister while joohae would gladly let him do so.

their relationship is very unclear and undefined. they both seem to have something for each other, but it has never been made clear, and none of them would admit to liking the other more than a friend. whenever joohae needs help or support, she would be looking for yoongi, and he too, will always be looking out for her (although he denies it). yoongi will always be complaining that she's very troublesome/burdensome, but he will still help her whenever she need it. joohae claimed that yoongi is just like a really good older brother, and yoongi insists that he find her very bothersome, but everyone can see that there's something more than that. they will occasionally go for a walk together, but they hardly ever get to have alone time because a co-worker will always be tagging along. yoongi is unsure of what he feel about her because she's just a 17 year old girl, much younger than him. he would convince himself that she's just a younger sister, and joohae likes him because he's like the older brother she has always wanted but never had. but he will come to realise that age is just a number. joohae's parents really like yoongi too, to them, he's someone who can take care of their daughter to the best of his abilities. one of their biggest worries was that joohae might never be able to find her significant other. they're afraid that she would have to be alone for the rest of her life, especially after they passed on. and yoongi stopped their worries when he entered joohae's life. they feel safe when joohae is with yoongi and is glad that joohae found someone that can take care of her and does not mind her disability.

CONCLUSION — they would then start going out, closer than normal friends, but not yet dating. they both know how the other feels about themselves, but it has never been made official that they're together. they would hang out together a lot more often and yoongi would accept the fact that he likes her, but he doesn't want to woo her just yet. he feels like she should be focusing more on her studies at her age and joohae doesn't diasgree. she wants to get rid of her bad habit before getting together with yoongi. yoongi tells her that he will be waiting for her. (to grow up, and to get rid of her bad habit) just a note though, yoongi is more of like the big brother that will protect her in times of need and taehyung is more of the playful brother who she will look for when she wants to have fun.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS — sooooooo here's my second application! it's the first time I'm making a character like this, and I am pretty satisfied haha I hope you like her! this plotline, janitor, was actually the first plotline that I wanted to apply for, but since assistant didn't have any applications yet, I thought I'll go for that one instead. and now that I'm done with this, I'm kinda itching to do another one using another plotline... this is the exact reason why I didn't want to join another applyfic lol once I start, I can't stop! new ideas for new characters keep popping up in my mind! my highest record was 5 new characters for just one apply fic hehe (sadly, none of them got chosen lol). anyway... I hope you don't find me annoying when I send in my third appication... hehe.
