APPEARANCE — his height is 183cm, his weight is 67kg. he have straight, short, natural black hair. he looks pretty propotional despite his tall height, since he isn't exactly skinny or lean. he isn't extra ordinarily muscular, but he's strong enough. he also have a little dimple on his right cheek that will show when he smile (although he usually have his poker face on). oh, and add one huge scar stretched out across on his right forearm (kinda faded, but still visible) and one smaller one just beside the bigger scar.

STYLE — he usually wear just a simple t-shirt or sweater with jeans. otherwise, he will add in a jacket, or sweater or buttoned shirt on top of his t-shirt. when he's at home, he wears traditional japanese clothings. I don't really know who to elaborate with his style of clothings, but it's pretty much what you'll see him wear in the gallery.

PERSONALITY —
kyoya is a very confident, smug-ish, kind of guy. he knows what he is good at and is not afraid of anyone putting him down. he trusts his abilities and is definitely not afraid to show them off when needed. he dislikes working with anyone else because it would make him feel restrained and/or controlled, which he hates. kyoya is also very independent. he grew up alone, and since young, he has been taking care of himself by himself. he does everything by himself and believes that he needs no help from others. he will reject any help, orders or suggestion anyone offered to him, and stubbornly do it his own way. he is very disciplined to only his own set of principles and will never break it. as stated by others, kyoya is a very intimidating character with no care in the well-being of others, preferring to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. he prefers to be alone, and hates crowdings. he cannot be described as shy, or socially awkward, or even introverted, he just doesn't like humans in general. he is reserved and anti-social, he doesn't like to talk to almost everyone. he's always alone, cold and aloof. don't get it wrong though, he will start a conversation with someone if needed, but he is not someone that will make empty talks or chats just for the sake of talking. since he hardly talk and keep to himself most of the time, he can be considered pretty mysterious.

kyoya is super observant. he can notice tiny details that others tend to oversee. this result in him being a fast learner. he can learn something just by looking at someone else do it once. kyoya is someone who is very serious about anything and everything. he treats everything seriously and is someone who doesn't joke around. he despises the jokers and will stay as far away as he can from them, thinking that they're losers and can't do anything right. he looks down on them and would just tell them that right in their face. kyoya is just plain rude. he have no respect for even people older than him, and will totally ignore anyone who he deemed as "herbivores". he have no interest in "herbivores" and is always looking for a worthy opponent. he is an extremely good fighter, always beating up people that irritates him too much. he hates losing, especially in terms of fighting. kyoya is the type of guy who would fight until he defeat the opponent (or he dies trying), no matter how injured he is. he can't be described as competitive though. if you challenge him to a coffee making competition and says that he's a corward if he don't accept the challenge, he will just coolly walk away (even though he probably can make a passable cup after watching the opponent once). he doesn't care about losing or being insulted for something he's not prominent at. he might just beat the crap out of the guy if he insist and annoy him too much though.

all in all, he's a "go away and don't tell me what to do, I know what I am doing and I'm totally good at it" kind of guy.

BACKGROUND — his parents were extremely rich, so were his grandparents. this was why, when they died, a whole lot of money was left for him. his parents were murdered when he was still a young kid, leaving his baby brother, sota, and him with a butler who had been with the family for 47 years. the baddies originally only wanted to rob the family, but kyoya's father resisted, and so they killed the couple. they staged the scene so as to make it looked like the couple had a fight and the husband accidentally killed the wife before killing himself out of guilt. the bulter had managed to save the two kids by hiding in the cupboard after calling the police. however, the police never figured out who the real killers were. the incident was hence simply classified as a case of sucide. kyoya was only 4, but he knew the cause of his parents death was not sucide. he grew up with hatred and the mindset that all outsiders are evil. in order to protect the kids, the butler even went to the extend of bringing them to korea. he tried his best to groom the two kids into successful young men, but it was hard. kyoya studied hard with the goal of succeeding his parent's company. the motivation behind his goal was to earn the power that will allow him to protect his younger brother and to find out who the real killers were. however, everything changed when sota died at the age of 7, brutally beaten to death by the school older bullies. sota was hospitalized for 3 months before passing away from the injuries. kyoya had begged the doctors to save him, but the doctors already did what they could. the school put the bullies on suspension, the police were brought in to investigate the case too, but they couldn't do much since the bullies were still underage. the 9 year old kyoya found it hard to bottle down all those hatred and resentment, he went to look for the bullies alone and ended up in hospital for 6 months with 2 arm surgeries on his right hand. it was then when he decided that he will never get bullied again. he took up martial arts classes, and got a black belt in judo, karate, kick boxing, sword fighting and taekwondo. he set up his own gang and took revenge on the bullies, who were, of course, much older than him, when he was 13. the fight, however, caused him to be expelled from school. the butler enrolled him into another school, but kyoya was no longer the same. he was not interested in studying anymore, he became a delinquent.

kyoya have been staying alone with his bulter since a young age of 9, causing him to be extremely independent (and not sociable). he hated the outside world and no longer have any goals in life until one day he saw jimin. jimin was exactly like his brother. personality wise, and age wise too. he just couldn't bring himself to ignore him, and started looking at jimin as a substitute for his dead brother. he gave all his love, attention and protection to jimin.

PRESENT — he is widely feared in the neighbourhood, nobody dares to defy or even approach him (knowing that he hates overcrowding). he is a total loner and doesn't make friends with anyone. he never interact with anyone else other than his gang and jimin. he does what he wants, and does not take orders from anybody. he rules the neighbourhood along with his gang, they make it a point to bully every bully they come across. he currently lives in an isolated house with his butler. the house is built with japanese theme consisting of 3 rooms. it's one storey with a tiny garden with a pond at the back. most of the time when he's free, he'll be sleeping on the rooftop of the playground, and when someone wakes him up, that person should prepare him/herself for a week in the hospital (let me know if it's too extreme for the fanfic hehe). so basically, if he's not working, not fighting, he'll be at the playground. he does have a soft spot for tiny animals and little kids though. he definitely does not fawn over them, but he will never hurt them as well, in fact, he treats them with more kindness and respect than he would to adults.

— LOVE IS IN THE AIR.
FIRST MEETING — they first met when jaemin was 5. she was playing at the playground alone when she saw a little boy around her age squating on the ground, staring at something in the bushes. she got curious and began trying to see what was it the boy was looking at. she got caught staring by the litte boy, 6 years old, and he invited her over to watch the hedgehog together with him. apparently, he had been watching the hedgehog since that morning with his older brother, who was now buying ice cream for him from the nearby store. kyoya, 8 years old, soon came back with 2 ice cream cones and sota introduced the two to each other. kyoya offered his ice cream cone to the little girl in which she shyly accepted. the three of them then spend the rest of the day toogether, chatting and spying on the little hedgehog. they had so much fun together that they promised each other to meet again at the same playground the next day. but that day never came. sota was hospitalized from the bullies the very next day and kyoya was too busy pacing around the hospital to fulfil their promise.

the next time they met, it was in the cafe. kyoya went to work/interview and saw jaemin. her music was nice, rthythmic and pleasing to the ears, which was why she left an impression. it didn't take him long before he realised she was the little girl from back when they were still a kid. (from her name and the way she talked or maybe her unique hair colour lol or some kind of scar or birthmark.) he doesn't know if she still remembered him, which is why he didn't mention it to her. 

INTERACTIONS — other than jimin, jungkook and seokjin, jaemin is the only one kyoya doesn't ignore in the cafe. kyoya sees jaemin as special because she prefers music over human interactions. it's as though she doesn't like humans too, which is why he feel that they can relate. plus the fact that they've already interacted before at the playground when they were younger. kyoya feels like he can be more of his past self when he's with jaemin. kyoya would compliment on her performance every once and then. he would also let her try the new pastries he learnt. the only suggestions he would take into consideration are those given by jaemin. they hardly comunicate with each other (except for the testing pastry part), but kyoya will always be noticing jaemin through the corner of his eyes. jaemin was part of his childhood, the times when sota was still with him, when the world wasn't so cruel to him. jaemin's presence makes him feel like he was back in the past, when he wasn't so alone. jaemin and other people are always curious (and found it weird) as to why kyoya treats jaemin kinder than other people, but nobody actually dare to ask him. even if they did ask, kyoya will never tell. kyoya would try and stay away from jaemin at times when he feels like he's starting to be unable to control how he feels about her. he doesn't want to get too close to jaemin because he feels that she deserve someone better than him, but it doesn't stop him from yearning for her attention. 

after jaemin found out that he was the boy from her childhood, they became closer and more friendly with each other. jaemin became the second jimin. someone who kyoya values and will protect at all cost. someone kyoya will never get mad at. and someone who isn't afraid to initiate or start a conversation with him. they will have more to talk about, and they will greet each other when they see one another. kyoya is contended with what they have now, but he'll still get jealous unconciously when he see her being close with seokjin. when kyoya found out jaemin likes seokjin, he will try to match them up. he will do what he can to help jaemin with seokjin. like letting them have alone time, giving her the courage to accept seokjin (if seokjin woos her) or giving her the courage to make the first step to being closer to seokjin (if jaemin likes him first). of course he'll be sad to a certain extend that jaemin doesn't return his feelings, but he's still happy for her that she can find someone like seokjin, who can give her happiness and what she needs to have a better future. I would love it if there could be a scene where kyoya fell asleep and jaemin happened to see it, thinking that he looked much kinder than when he was awake.

CONCLUSION — well, they're not going to end up with each other obviously haha since jaemin is going to be with seokjin. but it's fine, since kyoya never expected jaemin to like him anyway. but can I suggest an almost kiss scene of kyoya and jaemin please? XD like he was going to kiss her, but didn't at the end.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS — this character is inspired from the anime character Hibari Kyoya from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I'm not sure if you think that his background is too much of a sob story, but I thought I need to make a reason as to why he hates humans lol so yeah. and I tried to give it a reason why he's particulary closer to jimin haha. if you think that his background is too drama, or if you don't want a character so similiar to an anime character, or if you feel that the fighting thing is too over, just let me know and I'll get them changed. and just to make it clear, him and his gang don't do stuff such as robbing a bank lol they just fight. I really hope you like him though, because I really like him hehe. I spent so much time trying to look for a nice japanese faceclaim lol it's hard for me since I hardly watch or follow japanese dramas and movies haha. and I hope you don't find my long list of scene suggestions annoying XD just a heads up though, I'll be working on a girl app now! :D
