You guys are the reason this story has developed the way it has.
 

As many of you already know, I have been wanting to publish this story (Of The Guardians: ECHO) for a very long time. Currently I am trying to find the right publisher and editor to help me in my journey. I am looking into self-publishing on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, which would allow me to publish an e-book. I want to do this, not only to officiate and claim my story as my own (copyright), but also to represent us as a community. 

Here on AFF, there are so many passionate authors, who I believe, do not get enough credit in the writing community at large. Many times we, fanfiction authors, feel shamed when discussing our work in public because it is thought of not as actual literature. I have seen a small amount of authors on this site that have published their stories, on paperback or online, and it is a great encouragement to all of us who are passionate about writing.

Yes, I know that this is only the first book of the series, and that I have quite a ways to go with it. But being prepared is key to writing. The reason I am telling you all this, is because you are the reason I have continued writing. Yes, I write because I love it and my imagination cannot contain itself, but it is you guys who have encouraged me along the way. And for that, I am forever grateful for you. 

I wanted to let you guys know first, because you are the ones reading the story, and experiencing the incredible land of Athosia along with me. For this reason, I would like to ask for you feedback. How do you feel about me moving in this direction? Would you support me by purchasing either an e-book or paperback? Do you have any connections you would be willing to share with me as far as publishing and editing? Do you have any questions for me? I will try to answer them when I have access to my computer. Please be honest, I truly desire to understand your thoughts and mindset as you hear about this news.

And lastly, I would like to ask a favor: If you are gifted in graphic design, or love being created, as well as willing, I would like to humbly ask that you to Private Message me a cover for my story. This is only if you would like to, and you are in no way obliged to do so. This is just me opening up an opportunity for fellow members of my community to have their work at the forefront of my published book. I would prefer it to be professional looking if possible.

*Note: The version on AFF is not the official version of this story. The published one will be editied maticulously and the plot may change. A change that you have all already anticipated is the changing of names (but that is a given since I am not allowed to use real people in my stories).
