BTS GIVEAWAY

This is Min Yoongi, also known as Suga: one of my BTS biases.

I would actually say that Taehyung's my ultimate bias in BTS, but then again, my BTS bias is always changing... recently I've started noticing Yoongi more and more because even though he didn't really stand out to me that much when I first started listening to BTS, over time, I've realized how talented he is at rapping and producing songs and writing lyrics.  Even if he comes off as the laziest member, he does work hard to achieve what's important to him, and I really admire that quality in others.  All of BTS deserves the fame they're getting right now because they've poured their hearts and souls into their careers.  They're all very talented and they always work hard and really put in effort to produce good songs for us and show us their very best, whether it be in their dance practice videos or their live performances.

Yoongi recently updated BTS' official Twitter with this series of tweets, and after I read them, I was really touched at how much thought and emotion he put into them.  He basically said that he didn't want to become a numb person and take all the love his fans give him for granted, as well as all the opportunities he has right now to perform onstage and simply be BTS' Suga.  Our Motionless Min.

I'm in no position to judge any idol because I don't know what they really do off-camera and what really goes on in their heads, but it seems logical-- it may be easy for some idols to get bored of their fame and their fans and everything they have because they just don't cherish it as much as they used to.  They started taking their success for granted.  After all, idols may perform hundreds of times, at hundreds of places.  They may hold fanmeets and fansigns often.  They may receive so many presents and letters from their fans so frequently that they don't bother to read all of them because they're well aware that their fans love them to death.  While they do appreciate everything they have, what if all of this becomes less meaningful to them over time?  What if they start taking all their fans' love for granted?  What if they lose their passion for being idols?

As an ARMY, it means a lot to me to hear that despite the amount of popularity and attention BTS is getting these days, Yoongi doesn't want to turn into an idol who becomes numb to all these things, an idol who, as he says, "takes the love and these glorious days for granted".  He wants to appreciate all the love he and BTS are giving and receiving in the best way he can, and he really does care about ARMYs.  My respect for Yoongi has grown after reading these tweets, and I hope he follows through with his words and cherishes everything he has.  I hope the rest of BTS does this as well.

Also, as a side note, I think Yoongi looks really good in this era even though it's pretty hard to pull off mint green hair as well as he does XD

If BTS came to the US again, I don't really know where I would take them... but Yoongi mentioned in those tweets how at Kobe World Memorial Hall, he visited the concert venue and walked around and just thought about how important all these things are to him.  How he was so upset at himself because he couldn't perform.  He wanted to remember every emotion that came with being an idol and standing onstage, so I think that I would take BTS back to the places they performed during the time they were in the US for The Red Bullet: New York City, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and wherever else they might have gone in the country.  BTS is a group who truly loves and appreciates their fans, and I want all of them to be able to do the same thing that Yoongi did: visit the places where they performed and feel all those emotions so that they don't forget and become numb.  And maybe, assuming they had the time and the energy to do so, they could perform again.  I know that both BTS and ARMYs didn't have the best experience in the US because of some management issues, resulting in both parties' unhappiness, and I want them to be able to do it all over again so that everyone would be happy.  BTS would be happy performing and being able to interact properly with their fans, and ARMYs would be happy seeing them do what they love.
