Depends. Even if you only buy CDs that way, DO consider the fact that there are HARD to get albums. Limited editions like the collector's Rainism, albums from groups no longer viable in their ols forms (DBSK OT5, Ladies Code, MBLAQ), and CDs like EXO, where members have left. I snagged a TAO version of Exodus after they were oulled and all production of that version ceased. There are ALWAYS the posters, lightsticks, hats, dolls, shirts and jewelery as well. In some cases, there are pillow cases, phone cases, backpacks andbags...you just have to look.

I usually appreciate magazines if the cover star is my favourite artist.
Things like fan towels and lightsticks ar cool to own. Necklaces and bracelets are easy to wear in every day life if they are classy enough. Bags can be practical

just saying, don't bother buying posters if the material used isn't like official posters you get along with albums.

personally, if you like 'showing off' your favourite groups then hoodies, shirts, sweaters, etc. are the best way to go– just make sure they're the nice designs lmao. if it's not official merch maybe you can look for the ones made to look like something your group wore. in my case, i bought an exo sweater exactly like the one they wore in one music show.

socks, phone cases, wristbands are nice too! they're a bit more subtle than the ones aforementioned (unless the phone case has your bias' face on it or something. there are also accessories like necklaces, bracelets, and sometimes earrings. i have a couple of bracelets and necklaces with exo's power symbols lmao.

this isn't really merch?? well, not 'official merch' but you can also try buying fansite goods? there are some people on twitter who do local group orders and the different buyers just have to shoulder part of the shipping fee. other than that, most other merch isn't really worth it especially if you won't use it? you could buy bags, but some bag designs are pretty tacky,,,

I don't have merch but my friends do. They buy:
Hoodies, shirts, earphones, keychains, pins, bags, cups, notebooks, lanyards, pillows, bedsheets/blankets, stickers, phone/tablet cases, jewelry, pencil bags/cases, socks......

Lol but yeah they buy stuff....

I bought a couple of wristbands which are great because you can wear them to concerts and to subtly let people know you're into Kpop, haha. I also have an Infinite pin that I want to turn into a keychain.
