OMG everyone! I got a notice on my wall about my story being plagiarized on Wattpad. So I went there, because I do have an account there, and sure enough, there was my story, uploaded by someone else, taking the credit that it was their work. I'm both angered and flattered. Flattered that someone liked it so much that they wanted to steal it, but angered because they did steal it! 

Don't get me wrong! I have no problems if you want to post one of my stories on another site or even in another language, I've had it happen before. But each time that's happened, the authors have always given me credit and provided me with the link to the story so I could see it for myself. This author did neither! So I've reported the story on grounds of copyright. It's my original work, despite being a work of fanfiction and fanfiction to me is not free to use. I'm sorry! But authors spend many hours of the day and pouring their heart and souls into these stories that they write and they certainly don't want to have the credits be taken from them!

As it stands, the person who took my story has also done so with two other stories. So I'm posting the link to their profile here. Please check and see if this is your story so you can report it, or if you know who it is...then please tell the author so they can report it. This has to stop!

From now on, I will be making my text unselectable, which means you won't be able to highlight anything from them and I think I'm going to be hiding all my stories for the time being.
